~ * ~ * ~ Prologue ~ * ~ * ~

A girl ran through endless darkness with no floor or walls visible, no prospect of light. Barefoot and wearing only a light, white nightgown, she rushed forward, looking back again and again. Her breathing was shallow, cold sweat covered her body and the naked horror was reflected in her wide-open eyes. She stumbled on and on, fell, got to her feet, and stormed off again.
Suddenly she tore something off her feet and hurled her through the air.A hoarse scream escaped her throat, but it turned into a painful whimper when she opened and lay there, shaking. She was shaking all over, the dress clung to her sweaty skin and the air only escaped her lungs in gusts as she looked up fearfully and stared into nothing.
Two big yellow eyes appeared there in the darkness, cold eyes, full of hatred, contempt and a strange kind of greed.
"Kill him!", A cutting male voice echoed through the girl's head, booming through her veins, seemed to want to blow them up from the inside. Screaming, she pressed her hands to her ears, jumped up and started running with narrowed eyes.
She ran and ran, screeched, thrashed around, but the voice in her head kept shouting, "Kill him! Kill him!"
Blinded by unbearable pain that ran through her body like icy waves, she rushed forward blindly, wanted to escape the pain that tormented her, but it was pointless, the voice did not fall silent.Suddenly she stumbled again and fell, but this time she didn't hit, she fell headlong into the abyss. The fall seemed to never end, the darkness around it always remained the same.
The yellow eyes reappeared, but he was no longer just two, there were more and more, into the innumerable. Even the voice that continued pounding in the girl's head was no longer alone. There seemed to be hundreds, and they kept shouting the same thing, "Kill him! Kill him!"
The pain increased, throbbing in her muscles, pulsing through her veins, burning her bones. When she thought she was finally being torn, something strangely glittering came up to her from below. She fell down at breakneck speed, and on closer inspection she discovered with horror that the glitter was the shimmer of innumerable spearheads that stretched out towards her almost wistfully.
Desperately the girl was still looking for something to hold on to, but all she found was a yawning emptiness and oppressive darkness.Five meters, two meters, one meter ...
