I'm coming!

That night, Naruto had an eerie dream.
Bathed in sweat, he sits bolt upright in his bed the next morning and looks around.
Relieved, he wiped the sweat from his forehead.
// ... was just a dream ... but ... it was so realistic ... //
Naruto got up, got dressed, and ate some breakfast.
Then he took his things and left his apartment.
He took a deep breath and then made his way to their meeting point.
//… Sasuke… I'm coming! //

Sakura and Kakashi were already there.
When they saw him, Sakura waved to him.
"Good morning Naruto! Did you sleep well?"
"Good morning Sakura-chan ... well ... can't complain"
He replied, then looked at his sensei."You already here? That's unbelievable ..."
"Just make your jokes my dear"
Kakashi smiled.
"When an important mission comes up, even I get out of bed on time ..."
A few others met them shortly afterwards.
"Hey morning guys."
Kiba called from afar.
"Tomorrow Kiba! Tomorrow Shino ..."
"Tomorrow Sakura ... huh ... not all here yet?"
Shino asked and looked at Kakashi.
"No ... not yet, but before we leave we have to pick someone up ..."
"And who sensei?"
Sakura asked in astonishment.
"I thought we were already complete."
"... you will see that later ..."
Naruto looked at him absurdly for a moment.

After everyone had arrived, they set off.
In fact, they stopped again briefly at a small hut.
When Kakashi knocked, a somewhat young, tall boy stepped out.
His gaze stopped at Naruto and he nodded in the morning greeting.
Naruto immediately recognized the boy behind the mask, but didn't say a word and nodded as well.The others wondered who this boy could be, but couldn't find it.

After a while they stopped because they were in an area where it is not always nice to see ninjas from Konoha
"Tell me Naruto, do you have anything? You've been so quiet lately ..."
"hm ... well ... you know Sakura-chan, I had a terrible dream last night."
Narrated Naruto but didn't look at her.
"What dream?"
He looked around to make sure none of the others noticed.
"It was just scary. I dreamed that when we found Sasuke, one by one would die. In the end, only you, Sasuke and I were there ... and when Sasuke attacked me everything went black ..."
Naruto gave a short laugh.
"But it was just a dream ... something like that happens before ... as if we were all so weak and dying."
But shortly afterwards he fell silent again and stopped speaking.
He just looked at the floor and thought."Naruto ..."
"So folks ... time to move on ..."
Kakashi spoke and it went on.
Meanwhile, Kiba and Shino were talking.
"Tell me Shino ... don't you find that strange too?"

"Well ... that guy there ... that we picked up ... he didn't exchange a single word with us ... just nodded to Naruto once, as if they knew each other ... and otherwise he only talked to Kakashi ..."
"Maybe he's just shy ... and doesn't like talking to strangers ..."
Shikamaru interrupted him.
"Yeah ... or he just doesn't like us"
"Or he doesn't like your arrogant manner Neji ..."
Kiba grinned.
"Or that, but ... I noticed that Naruto is acting very strangely at the moment, don't you think?"
Shikamaru asked.

Shino replied.

"Are you sure we are on the right track, Itachi?"
Kakashi asked the boy accompanying her.

"Most of Kakashi-san believe that, but yes we are right here ... that's another way To Suna ... Oroshimaru has billeted there at the border. We'll be there in 5 days if we keep this pace ..."
"... well ... I think the others are suspicious of you ... maybe you should talk to them ..."
"With them? No thanks ... those morons ..."

Nothing serious happened until the evening, which caused the group a lot of grief ... they hadn't seen a passerby in the last few hours ... which was quite unusual for this area.
When they lit a fire and made themselves to eat, Naruto had gone alone to a nearby lake.However, Itachi followed him unobtrusively.
He sat down by the lake, sighed, and thought.

Naruto looked across the lake and into the water.
> ... "If life is like this ... then I'd rather die!" ... <
He remembered his own words.
> ... "I grew up alone my whole life ... nobody was there ... as if my soul was trapped in darkness ... he was my best friend ... I could change it ... If I had died for him rather than let him go "... <
"What should I do if the dream was a fission ..."
"Don't worry about that ..."
Naruto started and got up.
"What are you doing here, Itachi?"
"I've noticed how absent you've been lately ... you're worried about something, isn't it?"
Itachi sat on the ground and looked into the water himself.
"... but you don't have to worry about it. If something terrible happened it was simply not fate anymore ... and if something happens that you wanted it was worth it, wasn't it?"Naruto sat silently next to him.
"There are things in life for which you think: 'I just wouldn't have done that' ... but what happened, happened ..."
"Tell me, Itachi ... does your brother really mean nothing to you?"
Itachi looked at him puzzled, but then a slight smile crept onto his lips.
"When I look at what happened ... I sometimes wish I hadn't killed my family. Then everything would be different and my brother wouldn't be in this situation. However, you two might never have understood each other ... you wouldn't be friends ... and maybe you would another life, but I can't change anything ... "
Naruto grinned a little.
"That doesn't really answer my question ..."
"But…"
Itachi sighed softly.
"To be honest ... he's my stupid little brother and he really means something to me ..."
There was a short pause, but then Itachi continued.
"Naruto ... do me a favor and make sure that Sasuke gets a better life ... what he is going through now, I really don't wish anyone ..."Naruto looked at him in amazement, but then said:
"Promise ... no matter what it costs me ... Sasuke will return to Konoha ..."

The two of them sat on the bank for a long time until they suddenly heard a terribly loud scream.
"That was Sakura!"
Naruto paused and he ran back to the rest area, closely followed by Itachi.
When they arrived they saw some kind of giant spider attacking the group.
A man was sitting on top of it.
"Kakashi-sensei! Sakura ... what's wrong ???"
Naruto asked hastily as they stopped next to the group.
"We think Orochimaru found out that we are on our way to meet him."
Replied Neji.
"We have a huge problem ..."
"Kakashi-sensei ... what should we do?"
"If we all stay here we will hardly have time to stop Orochimaru from doing his work ..."
Itachi said.
"You're right, but ... what should we do?
Sakura asked in dismay.
Then Kiba and Shino stepped forward.
Kiba grinned and said:
"Hey guys let's do this.We are specialists when it comes to spiders ... "
"We can do this here ..."
Shino said, adjusting his sunglasses.
"Can you only find one way ... and save Sasuke ..."
Naruto looked at the two of them, then looked at Shikamaru and Neji.
The two nodded to him.
"It's good ... Kakashi-sensei. We found a lake near here!"
Kakashi looked at Naruto, then at Itachi.
"Sure ... that would only be a little detour, but then we have the same goal ..."
He nodded. Naruto and Itachi ran ahead, the others close behind.
At the end Naruto called after the two who stayed behind.
"And that you both follow me! Did you understand Kiba!"
He only raised his arm once more in parting.
