t was a fine summer day, and the day before Kagome's birthday.
Inuyasha had confessed his love to Kagome on her 16th birthday a year ago.
Miroku and Sango had been married for a year and a half.
They had a young daughter her name was Serena.
Inuyasha and his friends were sitting with Kaede in the hut and thinking about what to give Kagome for her 17th birthday.
Kagome had returned to her time to celebrate with her family today because she wanted to be with Inuyasha on her birthday.
"Listen, I've been watching Kagome for a while and ..." Kaede stopped in mid-sentence. Should she really say it? She will probably have no other choice.

"That was Shippo!" Said Kagome in a panic.
