Chapter 1: The Prehistory

Once upon a time in the days of One Piece. There lived a 17-year-old marine named Tashigi. Very few knew what Tashigi really was. All who knew were her parents, who were already dead, and her big brother because she hadn't seen her for a long time.
She was born on the First Island of the Grand Line and lived there until she was four. Then when something terrible happened, Tashigi had to be taken somewhere else as soon as possible. Almost all people who preyed on her were killed. Except her brother, because he brought Tashigi to Kapt'n Smoker in Loguetown.
The captain raised Tashigi in the sense that the navy was the best in the world and that pirates were the scum of the world. But deep down, Tashigi knew what it really was like. After all, her father was a pirate.
