Chapter 5 - Memories of My Old Life

The days passed and I settled in with the others, but I kept having these 'memories'.
In the meantime I knew the name of this boy with the white hair and the red eyes, as well as the other two girls. The boy's name was Tinn, the girl with the brown hair, cat ears and tail was called Tinka and the girl with the silver hair and blue eyes was called Liss. And more and more a strange feeling broke out in me. A feeling that I had to make my way on a long, hard path and that it was something from my past.
My bond with Toki grew deeper and deeper and I only saw the pictures when I touched them.
So it was this one time when I saw these pictures again, but this time they weren't memories but from the present.
Liss and Tinn were caught by this white-haired woman with the cold eyes and Tinka tried to free her but she was badly injured and was now lying in a forest.I didn't know how I knew it was the present, I just knew it and I also knew that I was the only one who could help her. With these thoughts a force suddenly started to shine in me and seemed to change me inside and out. Suddenly I knew things from my past that had previously remained closed to me. So I knew again that Liss was my little half-sister and Tinn and Tinka my best friends from childhood. I also now knew who this woman with the white hair was. Her name is Shana and she hated my father and me deeply. But the most important thing was that I remembered that I was a demon.
Outwardly, too, I changed.
Suddenly I got pointy ears, a kind of tattoo formed on my left upper arm and the ends of my hair turned black. In addition, my hands became dangerous weapons. My clothes are also changing, I no longer wore my normal top and skirt but a kind of combat suit.I had tight black pants that went up to just below my knees and a wrap skirt that went up to the middle of my thighs. On top I wore a tight kimono top with short sleeves. It was all made of fine but also solid material.
Toki seemed to be changing too. She was surrounded by a wall of water and she got bigger, like Kiara, only that she couldn't serve with flames on her legs and tail. I got on her back like I'd never done anything else. The others stood with their mouths open and looked at me.
"Raiko what happened to you? Are you a demon?", Shippo almost stuttered when he looked at me.
"Yes, that's what it looks like, or am I wrong?" I said and smiled at him. "I don't know where from but I have the feeling that I have to do something important, but alone. That's why I'm leaving you now. I hope that we will meet again sometime. Oh and Kagome, I would like to ask you a favor", I now turned to Kagome, who looked at me with wide, astonished eyes."Yes what that?" She asked.
"I would like to ask you to inform my parents that I have now found my real home and do not think I will come back. And please tell them that I thank them for everything and love them." With these words I gave her another one small note. My parents' address was on it.
"Goodbye!", I finally said goodbye and Toki started to fly (like Kiara).
The others looked after me in astonishment and could hardly believe what had just happened.
But couldn't think about it any further, as I now had to concentrate on the path I still had to cover.
I had to help Tinka, who was lying injured in a forest, but first I had to go back to my old home.
After a while I came to an old castle that was uninhabited. I landed with Toki and walked purposefully into the castle. I went through many corridors until I got to the door I was looking for.I opened it and went into the room. There wasn't much in the room, just a large altar with a sword in it. I went to the altar and knelt down. "Mother, please. I have to take the sword, otherwise I can't help my friends," I said and then raised my head again. The altar glowed and a bright aura surrounded the sword. I got up completely and held out my hand to the sword. This loosened from its anchorage and flew into my hand. It had a shiny silver surface and the handle was blue, like the water. With this sword I was able to control all water and also the air, it is from my mother. She used to use it to protect the country, but after she died she sealed it so it would not fall into the wrong hands.
I bowed again and then left the lock with Toki. Now I couldn't lose any more time to get to Tinka.I got to her pretty quickly. Her injuries were severe and she could barely keep her eyes open. Toki wasn't quite down when I jumped down and hurried to Tinka. "Tinka!" I called to her and she lifted her head slightly in my direction. Her eyes were slightly open but I suspected that she could not see clearly and before I was with her she passed out. "Tinka no, you have to wake up again!" I said to her when she passed out.
I looked around and looked for certain herbs that should relieve your pain and speed up the healing process again. But I didn't see them, so I went even further into the forest and found the plant too, I picked it and ran back to Tinka and Toki.
I took Tinka's head on my lap and tried to shake her awake. "Tinka, wake up! Just a moment, please, Tinka, you have to eat this. TINKA!" I really shouted at her at the end, but it is now having an effect and she opened her eyes slightly."Now listen to me, I'll give you a herb that will relieve your pain and accelerate the healing process. Please eat it even if it tastes awful," I said to her and held the plant under her nose. Timidly she opened her mouth and chewed the herb, grimacing. I knew it tasted awful myself, but I also knew it helped.
Then she rested a little. Less than 10 minutes later she opened her eyes again and it seemed to be a little better now.
"Are you feeling better again? I'm glad," I said to her with a laugh. Now she turned her face completely to me and her eyes widened in surprise. "Rai .... Raiko? Is it really you?", She asked, rather confused. "Nice to see you again Tinka", I just said and so she knew that it was really me. Overjoyed, she hugged me and burst into tears. "I thought you were dead because you suddenly disappeared.
"I'm back, no, I fell into a well and landed in a different time.Besides, I had forgotten all my memories, but now I know everything again and have come back, "I told her quickly." A lot has happened in the meantime, your father died fighting an evil half-demon and Shana captured Tinn and Liss . I wanted to save her, but I'm too weak, I couldn't do it, "she told me tearfully.
"Now I'm back and now we will free her together and destroy Shana for good," I said with a determined look.
"But how? If you had your mother's sword we would at least have a chance, but so far nobody has managed to take it," she said to me, meanwhile her tears had dried up again. "Who says I don't have it", I just said and pointed to the sword that I had attached to my hip. An astonished 'Oh' escaped her throat and the old will to fight fluttered in her eyes. "Then the last word has not yet been spoken," she said and had a sly grin on her face.
