Chapter 4: When a demon loves an angel

The next morning dawned and Yuiko had barely slept. Again and again she had heard Sakura's voice in her head, again and again she had thought about Laariel. His presence made it a lot harder to keep today's meeting with her lover. He followed her at every step and when she accompanied him on a walk, he could no longer hold back his curiosity."You look concerned, Yuiko. What's wrong?" He asked carefully.
The addressed winced and stopped abruptly.
// The sun ... the time has come. // Her heart immediately pounded three times faster than her shining eyes on Laariel.
"Can you do me a favor?"
Laariel paused. He hadn't expected that, but he would do anything for this angel.
"Of course, what should I do?" He asked immediately and took her hands.
"Don't follow me, not today. Please find another occupation. And one more thing ... please don't tell God that we weren't together."
Her pleading eyes looked at him with hope. She felt she could trust him, but she couldn't tell him the whole truth. She had lied to her master before and slowly it became easier for her ...
She literally looked at the confusion of the dark-haired angel. His lips formed into a question, but he didn't say it.Apparently he understood that she wasn't going to tell him anyway.
"As you want. But be back before sunset, otherwise I can't promise that the gentleman won't notice anything.", He replied and let go of her hands. Inwardly, he knew very well that he wouldn’t beat curiosity ... that was his weakness. He would follow her unobtrusively.

"Thank you very much, Laariel!", Yuiko called to him and waved, while she gracefully spread her wings and took off. Their excitement did not go away, on the contrary. At any moment she would meet Sakura ... if she came. But she did not want to and could not doubt it.
It broke through the cloud cover and flew as fast as it could towards the fairground. Her long robe fluttered in the wind and she pulled the gold hair clip from her hair.
She landed silently on the empty fairground and looked around; hoping to discover Sakura.
// Maybe she's already on the ghost train ... //, she thought hopefully and it didn't take long to find the haunted house. When Yuiko saw the many monsters and skeletons that were standing around as decorations, she immediately felt queasy. Why did Sakura choose a place like this for their reunion?
// She's a demon ... of course, she's comfortable in the dark. //
Yuiko landed in front of the entrance and hesitantly stepped onto the haunted house.
"Sakura?" She whispered, but her voice echoed loudly through the gloomy system. No Answer.
The angel walked slowly through the darkness and slowly tried to get used to it. Now she really wanted Sakura to come here quickly, because she felt uncomfortable in this place. Her eyes were just beginning to get used to the darkness when her view was suddenly blocked - by delicate hands.
Her heart skipped with shock, but also with happiness. She knew it was her demon.
"Sakura?" She asked just to be on the safe side, but she was now very sure that it was this one.
"Yes.", Came the pleasant voice of the others in her ear and Yuiko felt a load from her heart."I was afraid that you wouldn't come."
Since Sakura was still covering her eyes, she couldn't see her grinning.
Instead of an answer, Yuiko got a gentle kiss on the neck. Immediately the blush shot her face. She hadn't noticed what kind of situation it was.
Sakura covered her eyes, it was dark everywhere, she could feel her body right behind her and her lips left a tingling sensation that slowly crept down her back.
"But now I'm here ...", Sakura breathed and Yuiko shuddered. Involuntarily she flapped her wings nervously, causing Sakura to take her hands away.
"What is it?" Asked the demon and turned the angel around to face her.
"N-nothing ...", Yuiko mumbled, still embarrassed and stared into the darkness, not knowing that she was looking Sakura straight in the eyes.
She understood and had to grin again. This innocent little angel didn't know how to deal with such a situation. She wasn't used to being touched like that and it scared her.
"Don't worry, Yuiko."
Even though Sakura's voice sounded very gentle, she couldn't calm down. A warm feeling in her chest gave her no rest and she wondered what it was and where it came from. Before she could even answer that she wasn't afraid, she felt Sakura's gentle lips on hers.
Her heart beat faster as the feeling of yesterday rushed through her body once more. Sakura clearly showed her who was in charge, but Yuiko didn't care. She would do anything for her demon.
As Sakura's arms wrapped around her delicate body, Yuiko had the feeling that Sakura had chosen this place not only because of the darkness. It was the only attraction that was no longer in tact here. They were completely alone and undisturbed.

"We have to use the time ..."
Those were the last words Yuiko remembered. Sakura had said it with a dazzling gleam in her eyes. After that she had said many things, but the angel did not remember a single word.
All she knew was that she had completely heard Sakura. With every fiber of your body.
And she knew it had been a sin to surrender to the demoness here in the dark. But Yuiko wanted to see her happy, wanted to penetrate the demon's heart, not knowing that she had made it long ago.
Even after her eyes got used to the darkness, Yuiko couldn't see anything. She could only feel. She felt Sakura's lips, her curious fingers and her silky hair, which fell again and again on her stomach wall and tickled her lightly.
The angel was so hot that she wondered if they had ended up in hellfire for the sin they had just committed. But no, they were still in the haunted house. Had they been more careful, they might have seen the shining pair of eyes in the corner and heard the faint rustling of wings that sounded as they lay exhausted and cuddled on the floor.~ * ~

"Shall we meet again tomorrow?"
When asked, Yuiko only received a smile and a kiss on the lips.
"I'll find you."
Sakura's fingers slid gently over Yuiko's cheek and with one last look into the ocean-blue eyes of her angel, she pushed away from the earth and flew off.

Yuiko watched her go for a long time. She couldn't collect a single thought. She had just committed the greatest sin an angel could commit, and yet she did not feel guilty. Rather happy and perfect.
Still, she knew it was an illusion. She was young and inexperienced, but she wasn't stupid. A love between a demon and an angel was forbidden, it would never stand a chance. How long could she keep this secret before the Lord found out? How long would she be able to carry this burden?
Lost in thought, Yuiko slowly flew back to paradise.

As soon as she entered the Hall of the Almighty, Laariel stood in front of her.His eyes were strangely cool and reproachful.
"Forgive," he said weakly. "To a female demon."
Yuiko's eyes widened. How did he know ... ?! Her stomach contracted as she glanced past him at the throne. Had Laariel told him about it?
He didn't look angry, but his voice was hard as he called her name and asked her to come over.
"Is it true what Laariel says?"
Yuiko's hands trembled as she slowly sank to the floor. Past. It was all over!
She would fall, he would send her straight to hell. Then she would be forever united with Sakura, but Yuiko was afraid of the fire. She loved Paradise, she loved the angels here, and she loved the Lord.
With watering eyes she looked up at the mighty figure. Would he really ban them? She could tell the truth and indulge in her fate, or she could ... lie.
