Die Hoffnung stirbt zuletzt

A painful encounter

“I think I fell in love with you!” “I love you!” “You know that I love you!” “He's my great love!” “Kiss me, darling!”
It was spring and people were in a love frenzy. Nobody liked to be alone, everyone felt like they belonged to someone. The park was full of couples, laughter and vows of love filled the air.
"People are so simple-minded," sighed a young girl to herself, "How carelessly they all deal with the word" love "! I doubt that everyone is aware of its meaning!" Tired, she got up - and then again to plop backwards! A black-haired boy with roller skates knocked her over when he was about to fall. Now he was lying motionless on top of her, his breathing still quickened from his adventurous roller-skating ride.
"I was just missing that," mumbled the 16-year-old in a bad mood. "Could you get off me, please? Or are you planning to stay the night here?" She asked in a cutting voice. But the boy didn't answer. Instead, he stood up a little so that his face was only a few millimeters away from the girl's.
Amy felt his warm breath on her cheek and involuntarily blushed. She wasn't sure why. She wanted to ask the black-haired man to finally get up, but when he suddenly smiled apologetically at her, she swallowed the biting words again.
"Ahaha, sorry, I'm really sorry. A little child ran in front of my feet and when I dodged I somehow lost control. You're not injured, are you?" The boy asked.
"I'm not hurt yet. But if you intend to linger on me a little longer, it could well happen that I suffocate. You are really damn heavy!" Said Amy, who now seemed a bit amused.
The Nameless One blinked in confusion, then a grin spread across his face. "Oh, well, of course we don't want that. And hop! "With that he stood up and held out his hand.
Like right now? Did he want to help Amy get up? Thank you, she could do that quite well on her own. But ... he was still smiling down at her so kindly. She should…?
Before she really knew what to do, Amy's hand had moved hesitantly towards the boy's. When the two touched, it was almost as if lightning flashed through them. Amy looked up at the boy and their eyes met.
The black-haired man's hand was large and strong, but at the same time gentle and warm. Amy's hand, on the other hand, was very small and delicate, almost fragile.
"His eyes are as blue as the sea after a storm," the girl marveled in her head. The boy didn't seem to be quite there either, because he just held Amy's hand without helping her up. He stood there hypnotized.
A cheerful child scream let the two wake up from their trance. The boy grinned even wider and without warning he pulled the delicate hand abruptly.Apparently the stranger had underestimated his strength, because he didn't just help Amy on her feet! She fell right into his arms. Again, the boy hadn't expected that! The momentum with which he had lifted the beautiful stranger landed both of them on the ground again. This time, however, their roles were reversed.
Amy's heart jumped tremendously as she tumbled forward. She was afraid of hitting the asphalt hard, but contrary to expectations it wasn't. Strong arms encircled her body and pressed her to the boy's.
Since the latter had put his arms around the girl's narrow shoulders, he couldn't stop his own fall. So he hit the back of his head hard on the ground, unprotected. A small cry of pain escaped him before he passed out.

Less than two minutes later, the injured man felt himself being shaken by the shoulders. Confused, because he did not know where he was, he shot up with his upper body, whereupon he immediately sank back again with a face contorted with pain.Amy rubbed her forehead. Oh great, that was a great day! First being knocked over, then partly to blame for the laceration of their "assassin" and now also a bump on the forehead. Really, soooo great!
The black-haired man under the girl groaned and tried to slowly open his eyes. Amy leaned further over him to look into those blue eyes. Just so she could tell if this slob had a concussion, of course! Why else ?!
The said chaot laboriously opened its eyes and had to blink several times to see something. He saw that someone was all you in front of his face. The sun behind this figure made the blond hair shine, so that the girl's face looked as if it was shining from within.
"An angel," he breathed when the boy passed out again.
"Great ...", said angel mumbled to himself with a sigh.
