She put the book aside to get a drink. "Ouch! Oh damn!" She cursed. She had hit the closet with her left arm. The arm she broke. She looked at the clock and saw that she had read for 3 hours. 'No wonder,' she thought to herself. 'With a book like that. 'She had read the book at least 7 times. She went into the kitchen. Her mother was sitting there. "And how are you today?" "Actually quite well." "That's nice. But don't forget that you mustn't move your arm." "Yes, yes!" "Tell me, Lucy, how far are you actually with 'Herr der Rings? '"" I'm just there where Frodo, Sam, Merry, Pippin and Aragorn are on their way to Rivendell. "" Then see, at least others might want to read the book too, "said her mother.Lucy went back to her room, lay down on the bed, and continued reading. But when she got to the point where the hobbits reached Rivendell, an image appeared before her eyes. Short and sweet but it was there. She saw a beautiful big house with many small houses attached. But they weren't normal houses. They were so open and there were no doors. Next to the houses was a beautiful big river and above it a huge waterfall falls into it. The water looked silver. Lucy knew immediately that Rivendell should be. Then everything was gone. She wondered if she had seen the picture, or more importantly, where did the picture come from? Maybe from their dreams. She thought to herself. But when she read on she saw another picture. This time she could see a tall, slender man. He had long, fine, black hair. On each side a strand over the ears was artfully twisted together and hung down in front of the ears - the ears themselves were more pointed than on humans.The man had a silver hoop in his hair that went over his forehead. The eyes were blue. He was wearing a red silk robe and underneath a light silk shirt. The hands were big and fine at the same time. The man had a beautiful ring around his ring finger. It was silver and there was a blue stone in it. When the picture was gone, Lucy felt a slight pain in her head. "Very funny. Now I dream during the day. The man looked like an Elf. Somehow like Elrond. Oh nonsense that can't be. It's just a made-up story." She said to herself, shaking her head. And she read on. But suddenly she felt a sharp pain in the back of her head and then she saw pictures again. But longer this time. She saw the man from before again. Then she saw another man. He was a little bigger than the other. He had long, light blonde hair that had a silky sheen. He too had blue eyes and his ears were pointy too. He had a strand above his ear that was intertwined with the hair at the base and came together at the back of the head.There they were tied with a ribbon. He was wearing a light, silky top and brown leather pants. The leather looked soft and pliable. Lucy thought 'this could be Legolas'. Elrond and Legolas spoke in Elvish. Then they looked at Lucy as if she were standing in front of them. "What's all this about. It must be a dream. I don't understand." She said confused. As soon as she had said that, Elrond said, "This is not a dream. Don't be afraid. You will understand everything later." and then the picture was gone and Lucy saw black before her eyes ........
