Everthing's possible oder Nothing else matters

Chapter 2

Those two math lessons just didn't seem to go by. For Seto there was only one thing anyway, he watched the clouds as they drifted away in the sky. Just like the teacher's words to his ears. He didn't even notice that she was asking him for what was probably the fourth time. Only on the fifth attempt did his body show its first movement, and his eyes returned to the table. Something he could solve for him sleep, it was hardly a problem for him. But what did the faculty want from him again?
"Can you please tell me what you are doing there, Mister Kaiba?"
"Thinking," he shrugged indifferently. Almost everything had become the same to him. It made no difference that he would be thrown out of school, they had become dependent on his company. He couldn't be let go, so he could show himself from the side they all despised about him. The first thing you think of when the name Seto Kaiba is put in your ear."Couldn't you postpone that after class?" Asked the teacher, now slightly annoyed, feeling the general unrest in the class. The head of the company managed over and over again to make sure that all teachers looked like fools and beginners. He was really the greatest at that.
"No, I have other things to do. I'm sorry. Are you finished then?" The brunette held her arms crossed over her chest and looked steadfastly at the woman at the table. His blue eyes literally pierced her. He didn't want to let anyone dictate anything to him anymore, he was grown up and knew how to make his way. Nobody had to stand in his way anymore. Nobody would survive either.
"Mister Kaiba, I-", but then the school bell came in between the young woman. Suddenly all the students jumped up, threw their school supplies in their pockets and stormed out of the classroom. Seto is different. He had all the time in the world, at least in school.Slowly he packed the pad in his briefcase, threw the aluminum flap shut and then went to the teacher.
"Can I get the Palm or do you still need it?" He asked her boldly in the face, not in the least bothered about which rules of respect he broke with this minute. He had lost his awe towards the greatest company bosses, and he treated teachers like his foremen. His facade crumbled in only one place and it was that that made him desperate. As soon as it came to his younger brother, all the circuits in his head stopped. Then there was no stopping it.
"You are hopefully aware that you will have a reference to book"
"Do what you think is right. The computer, please," he held out his open hand towards her. All he had to do was take the little device, it was right in front of his nose. But even a Seto Kaiba possessed so much decency. However, the thread of patience would break for him, too, and his self-control would be forgotten."Get out of my sight," said the woman as she put the requested object in his hand. She struggled with tears, you didn't even need to see that, because it was good to hear. They tightened her throat and it was difficult to speak.
Untouched by all this, the company boss left the classroom and strode across the corridor with his head held high. He had exactly what he wanted. And soon his rest too. The teachers gave in to him and put up with him in class. However, he remained exempt from any cooperation. Those bunglers, he just thought and looked at the watch on his wrist. He really had wasted three minutes with this woman just because she refused to give him his property. It was just unbearable. You are only surrounded by idiots!
This state did not leave him even when he sank down on a bench that stood on the left side of the school yard. In the shade of an old oak tree, he took a book out of his trunk and opened it.Somewhere in the middle was a small bookmark, a photo of his little brother. He didn't need to look for it during the break, however, because he was well aware of who he was hanging out with. Although that wasn't the right approach for the little one in his eyes, he didn't want to say anything against it. At the moment they were the only people Mokuba could always have around when something was wrong with him. He leaned back a little, put the aluminum case next to him and began to read. He could forget the noise around him for a moment, but even this beautiful moment seemed to have passed.
"What kind of intellectuals, ne Kaiba?" He could only hear mockingly, then the book was snatched from his hand. He would probably be able to recognize the blonde for miles too, he had no doubt about that. He didn't spare a sigh, because that would only be a wasted effort. It wouldn't get him any further and Joey wouldn't make it any smarter.
In awe, leafing through the book, let the picture of Mokuba sail to the floor. Then he finally got to the title. "So Zarat-who was speaking?" Came the young blonde's mouth, somewhat incredulous. Then he looked at the man across from him, who was still sitting calmly on his bench. Then he got up with a jerk. Immediately Joey took a step backwards as if he had a certain fear of bagging his prize for the day, but Seto walked past him undeterred.
"So spoke Zarathustra, Wheeler. You can keep it, even if you probably won't understand a word about it," with these words he walked past him as coldly as death itself, not even giving him a sidelong glance. The blonde wasn't worth that to him. It was a shame about the book, but he would get a new one. Just as he was about to begin to harbor the usual grudge against Joey again, he was almost knocked over.
"Big brother!" He could hear across the entire school yard, then he already had Mokuba with him. The little one snuggled up against him, shortly afterwards felt the protective hand of the older man resting on his head."Well my somersault"
Mokuba looked up at him with wide eyes. That was the Seto he knew. And probably only he knew. There was no one else who would ever get to know this side. It was reserved for him alone and that meant so much to him. It was worth so much. When Seto was at eye level with him again, the younger one immediately wrapped his arms around his neck and pressed himself against him.
"We probably haven't seen each other for an hour and a half and you pretend I haven't been home for a year," joked the company boss and lifted the little one up. "And you had art again, didn't you?"
A violent nod was the answer. But Mokuba wondered again why Seto knew something like that. He hardly knew his own timetable, he can do better today with the stock prices. What had betrayed him? And when he looked down at himself, the question was answered pretty quickly. He looked like a blob of paint that was way too big, scratching the back of his head in embarrassment. But instead of scolding the little one again, Seto put on a lovely smile and gently nudged the tip of his nose. Once again the brunette felt how he felt drawn to Mokuba. Without him his life would probably only be dreary and gray. There would be no such thing as colors. Maybe the blue that adorned the Blue Eyes White Dragon, but that would certainly be enough. He gently kissed his brother's forehead, lowering him back down onto his own two legs.
"I love you, big brother," came up to him in a childlike voice. Only sometimes did Seto wonder why he still deserved it? He felt so bad that he had so little time for him. Still, Mokuba looked up at him. It was a game of power and love. Unfortunately, he couldn't keep the balance in between. If he wanted to push one, the other fell by the wayside. And no matter what he chose, he was always the loser."My little one", and with that he ruffled his hair again, then the signal rang again that the break had come to an end. It had been far too short again for Mokuba's understanding. Then he had Seto to himself and they lost sight of each other again. It was a small consolation that his best friend Kato called for him again. When the big one made it clear to him with a glance that he could go, he started walking. With a big smile on his face.
I would like to be so carefree again, Seto's heart longed inside, but he wouldn't listen to that. There were other things to take care of. And that was exactly what caught him again when he heard the ringing of his cell phone. He couldn't do anything between the loud conversations in the corridor, he looked for a quiet spot by the lockers and finally answered it.
"Seto Kaiba, with whom do I have the honor?", He said willingly friendly. It didn't sound like his secretary, nor any of the Big Five, so he really had to pull himself together. Every customer was a welcome guest these days and could help him to new fame and fortune. His company was doing well, but things could change from one day to the next. Immersed in the conversation, the company manager did not even notice that the doorbell had rang at the hour. Inwardly, he didn't really care. He would even be able to walk and hardly anyone would notice. He pulled this loop off more often so as not to look bad in front of Mokuba. For him he wanted to be someone you could look up to but not need for the little one. He did all of this just for him, wanted to offer him the best future a boy his age could wish for. Even if he didn't understand it yet.
The matter was quickly decided. Seto put his briefcase on the floor and reached for the beeper in his pocket to call the limo.It was more important to take care of the company now than to memorize any grammatical rules that he had internalized for years. They were essential for contracts and negotiations; without them he would no longer be in this position.
The young man swung open the doors and stepped out. His black car was waiting outside the school gate. Not ten paces away from him. Even the doors were opened to him. He threw the suitcase into the place where Mokuba usually sat and crossed his legs. "To the Kaiba Corporation!" And with it the engine set the body in motion. Seto drove away.
