Chapter 2: Why Do I Meet You So Often?

I quickly stepped out of the garden. What's gotten into me? First I looked straight into the eyes of the prince of the western countries. And now I've also said something like that to him. The youkai ran up to them and raised his fist.The girls could no longer evade, the youkai was too fast for that and was hit by his fist. Then they stayed on the ground.
Even today I don't know why I intervened in the fight. But when the demon wanted to pounce on his victims again, I killed him with my poison claw. The girls came to and looked at the dead youkai.
"Who saved us from that?" Asked one of them. "I would like to know that too," replied the other. I quickly retreated back into the bushes. Not everyone had to know that I had helped people. Even if I didn't do this on purpose.
“Hey, your shoulder is injured.” The black-haired woman turned her head so that she could look halfway down her shoulder and saw a red spot that was spreading more and more. I recognized the girl's face and now knew that she was this woman that I had seen in the garden.
The injured woman just shrugged her shoulders, took off her Kinomo and stepped into the spring that lay in front of them.Her hair was blowing slightly in the wind and although she had her back to me and I was reluctant to admit this, she had an almost flawless body.
The water snuggled against her skin and she dived so far below that only her head looked out of the water.
She stayed there for a few seconds until she came out again. Her shoulder was healed.
She quickly put on the Kinomo again, felt two large jugs of water from the spring and went back to the bath house with her friend.
A little puzzled, I looked at the water, which was beating light waves.
