Der allerletzte erste Kuss
The very last first kiss
The very last first kiss
Hey guys! This is my second Naruto one-shot.
The idea came to me quite spontaneously when I was watching my little nieces (4 + 5 years) play. Personally, I really like kindergarten children.
Aaaalso ... this time it's about Ino and Sakura, who bet against each other. At someone else's expense.
Dedication: For Cat_Ko. Muahahaha ... I love you. ^^
"Hey, Sakura!"
Blue eyes flashed at the little girl who was sitting on the beautiful, blooming summer meadow. It turned around and saw his former best friend Ino, who was running across the meadow with crossed arms and a gloomy expression. Shortly before Sakura she stopped. A gentle breeze brushed her blonde bangs back.
Sakura looked up. Her bright green eyes looked questioning, but nevertheless they radiated a certain signal that said something like: "Don't come any closer to me!"
"Yes, what's up?", She tried to remain friendly.
All of the children knew that Sakura and the other girl, Ino, had once been best friends. They always got along well, could steal horses together. Ino had always been the stronger and more confident part of the two, while Sakura was more reserved and calm.
But then something happened. Something that had both cut ties and swore eternal rivalry to one another. Of course, the word "forever" for normal 9-year-olds was usually measured for 2-3 days, but everyone noticed very quickly that the two girls were really serious: They hardly talked to each other and the worse the other was, the more the other scoffed more maliciously. Every failure was cannibalized for a long time and every comment, no matter how small, was hissed back.
Yes, that's exactly what the competition between two 9-year-old girls looks like. As nice as they both might be, they were absolutely obnoxious to each other.
And not without reason either. It was about a boy. This boy by the name of Sasuke Uchiha went to the same class as the two girls and each claimed to love him the most.Sasuke was the crush in his class, every girl liked him. His mysterious manner cast a spell over everyone. The more intrusive the girls were, the colder he behaved. The colder he acted, the sweeter the girls thought it was.
But no one was as fond of the Uchiha boys as Sakura Haruno and Ino Yamanaka. The two just tried to do everything in their power to win his heart.
Only: Neither of them had had success so far.
At first it was just the struggle for this boy's love that had torn the girlfriends apart. But in the end, both Ino and Sakura set out to prove to each other that she was the much better ninja and therefore also the more suitable partner for Sasuke. Their competitions were well known and just as notorious.
Only a very well trained observer might have noticed that their friendship was not entirely lost. No one had noticed the compassionate glimmer in Sakura's eyes when Ino slipped in a puddle in front of the entire Kunoichi class. And no one had seen Ino's fist twitch when Sakura was teased again because of her broad forehead.
But now they were both sitting here on this meadow and staring at each other with hostility.
"Well tell me! What is it about?" Sakura shifted impatiently back and forth.
"I", Ino began and suddenly gave the pink-haired woman a more thoughtful look than before, "I would like to make you a suggestion."
For a brief moment, Sakura seemed too surprised to answer. She did not expect that. To avoid a malicious remark from Sakura, Ino immediately continued: "Um. Listen! Let's bet!"
Sakura just stared puzzled at the blonde girl. "What!?"
"Didn't you hear? I want to bet with you!" Ino replied irritably.
The pink haired girl's eyebrows twitched and she said, "What are you going to bet with me?"
"Can't you guess that?", Ino asked, "To Sasuke of course."
"Huh?" Said Sakura.
"Don't be so stupid! You actually think Sasuke might be interested in an ugly, broad-eyed cow like you? Nice! Then prove it to me! "Ino put a finger to his lips and Sakura moved closer not to miss any of the following words.
"I bet you that it is me who kisses Sasuke first!" Ino said with a clear emphasis in his voice. "If you can do it before me, you have won the bet. But if I do, and believe me, that will be the case anyway, then you have to promise that you will leave it to me!"
Sakura thought for a while, then looked directly into Ino's ice-blue eyes and replied: "What's this bet? You can't make it anyway! Do you really want to leave Sasuke to me in this cheap way? I thought you would fight more! "
The blonde stood up abruptly and yelled back: "Ts! Believe me, I'll be the first to kiss him!"
Sakura laughed bitterly and hissed: "You babble!""Nice! Bet with me and I'll prove to you that Sasuke likes me a thousand times more than he could ever like you." Ino held out her hand challengingly.
Reluctantly, but ultimately confident, Sakura accepted.
He was now.
Your pact.
Your bet.
Ino grinned contentedly. "You'd better give up right now!"
Then there was a short silence, during which they only glared at each other.
"Puh!", Both said at the same time and turned away.
Ino finally got up. “And don't forget: only the first one deserves his heart!” Then she ran away. Not without stopping first, turning around and sticking her tongue out to the girl with the pink hair.
Their toughest competition so far had begun.
6 years later.
Sakura leaned on a metal railing and sighed heavily. The sun shone on her face. It was a beautiful day. But her mood was the complete opposite of what the weather had in store for Konoha."What do you have?" Asked a familiar voice behind her. She hadn't noticed the approaching steps!
Sakura turned around and she had to squint her green eyes to see the questioning face of her friend Ino.
“Oh, nothing!” Sakura waved her hand, but Ino persisted. She had a look that was so tenacious that Sakura finally had to give in.
"Tell me ...", Sakura began and looked a little sadly at the floor.
Ino went up to her and now also leaned against the railing. "Yes what?"
"Do you remember our bet?", Sakura asked directly. She doubted Ino remembered that. It was so long ago.
"The bet for Sasuke's first kiss?", Ino laughed, "Of course I remember that. Do you think I could forget something like that?"
"Well ..." Sakura shrugged.
The blonde girl glared at her: "Heeeeyyy ...."
Then they both grinned. They had long since given up their quarrel. Now they were best friends again. Of course, they still squirmed now and then, but never really with the intention of seriously hurting each other. Both had understood that there was no reason to continue arguing. Because to the great horror the two girls had left their beloved crush Konoha.
Betray.
A deed that had left both of them with great wounds.
“It didn't turn out to be much, did it?” The blonde crossed her arms and stared at the floor as if it were particularly interesting.
"Yes, neither you nor I stole his first kiss. What a pity.", Sighed the pink-haired girl.
Both were silent. They had worked towards this goal for so long. And then, one fateful day, her hopes were dashed.
At that moment, the friends said exactly what they thought: “Naruto!” Yes, this clumsy guy actually claimed Sasuke's first kiss for himself.Accidentally, but that didn't count. He had kissed him. Point. Out. End.
Ino secretly refrained from making a stupid remark about Naruto. She knew how much Sakura longed for her other teammate, Naruto, too. She missed his happy grin and even the occasions when she'd shown him his own stupidity. And Ino understood. Surely she felt lonely. And that's why she had to stick to her now. Sakura should not be as lonely again as she was when everyone laughed at her broad forehead.
"You know," said Sakura sadly, tearing Ino out of her thoughts, "... I'm actually a little happy."
Ino drew in a sharp breath in surprise. "What ?! What do you mean?"
"Well, in the end ... Sasuke is gone, right?" Sakura mumbled softly.
“But you do believe that he will come back, don't you?” Ino had previously thought that Sakura was the one who believed more than anyone else in Sasuke's return."Of course. You know, I miss him a lot and ...", the pink-haired woman hesitated, but then: "... and ... if I had kissed him, maybe I wouldn't have suffered anymore?"
"Hmh.", Ino only said. "I can understand..."
“Do you know, Ino?” Sakura smiled contentedly. "I'm glad we don't argue anymore!"
Ino returned her smile: "Yes, me too."
Then there was silence again. Finally Ino started moving again: "Well, I have to go home. I wanted to help out in the store today."
"Yes." Sakura nodded and watched Ino slowly walk away.
After a few meters Ino stopped again.
"By the way," Ino said when she turned around, "you won't get Sasuke anyway!"
Sakura's friendly features derailed. Ino grinned at the words Sakura threw after her:
"Stupid cow!"
Lots of verbatim talk this time. Quite atypical for my FFS actually. Still, I sincerely hope that someone enjoyed it. I would be really happy about comments.Inuki-chama
