Friends forever

I'm standing on the cliff
close my eyes
and think of the day
where we met for the first time.

It was love at first sight
And since then we have been inseparable.
Every day was like stepping into a new warm world
And I just felt good.

But then the day came
When you left
And I couldn't follow you
On this day
Part of my own soul died
And I was trapped alone in the dark, cold world again
that had tied me up for ages.

I became more closed by the day
and now I stand here!
I take a step closer to the cliff
And look at the waves
that break on the rocks.

I stretch out my arms to the side
close my eyes
and let me fall forward

The wind surrounds me on all sides
And I feel
As if I had wings
And just fly away from the desolate world!

I think about you again
And that I'll see you again soon.Then I can feel your closeness and warmth again.

Even death
Can't separate us then.
