Goodbye

Itachi, Naruto and Jiraya were almost in Konaha. Kakashi had already gone to inform Tsunade of the current status. Naruto felt more insecure with every step that brought him closer to the village. Why couldn't he really explain himself. Maybe it was just the excitement, after all, he had been gone two years and now he returned, but not alone but with Itachi. Itachi, who for years was considered evil and a renegade. The reactions in the village were predictable, Naruto returns with Itachi by his side.
Naruto had to smile, but the reaction that would come from Sasuke worried him. Would Sasuke understand? Would he even hate Naruto because Itachi's murders were for Naruto? And then Naruto's smile disappeared again. Sasuke was a brother to Naruto, he was part of him, but Itachi was also part of him, had become a brother and teacher to him and had sacrificed everything he had for Naruto.When the going gets tough, Naruto would have to make a choice in a certain way .........
"What's wrong Naruto? Scared?" Itachi asked and looked at Naruto with a smile. Naruto pulled Itachi back a little: "What do we want to do about Sasuke?" Naruto asked quietly. Itachi knew that this thought had been spitting around in Naruto for a long time. "If it comes to a fight, I want you to disappear, don't interfere, just go away and read things as they go. You can't force yourself to make a decision, you hear!" Naruto nodded, although he knew what he was really about had to do and that scared him. He knew that Sasuke wouldn't have a chance against Itachi if Sasuke had to have become much, much stronger by then. Jiraya had already watched Itachi and Naruto the entire journey home, so he had noticed that the two had established a connection.If you ignored their looks they would be mistaken for twin brothers. Both seemed to know exactly what the other was thinking. Naruto had even been ready to sacrifice his village, his friends, maybe even Sasuke and Hinata for Itachi. Jiraya was also worried about Sasuke's reaction if he saw that .........

Kakashi had arrived at Tsunade half a day earlier and told her everything. Tsunade then only said that Itachi's version was easy to check and had a hooded ninja come over. Kakashi recognized him as one of the ninjas that Tsunade had given them to search for Naruto. The two ninjas didn't talk much, but Kakashi had noticed that they had a lot of knowledge and even more power. But how did he get back to Konaha so quickly? Tsunade told the masked people the story and waited for his answer. "It's true, he just kept his oath and there really were attempts at murder," he replied dryly and a certain sadness also wavered in his voice.That was it, everything was settled for Tsunade, at least until further notice. Later, when the ninja had left, Kakashi wanted to know who it was and how he wanted to know what was happening back then, but Tsunade just shook his head and conveyed that the time had not yet come to clear everything up. That ended this conversation too.

The news had already spread in Konoha about Naruto's return home. However, nobody knew what had happened, let alone that Itachi would come too.
Neji ran up the steps, around the bend and threw the door open. Hinata was sitting in front of the window, her gaze slowly wandered to Neji who was standing out of breath at the door. Now Tenten appeared behind him, also out of breath and shouted: “You have found him, he'll be arriving soon.” Hinata looked confused from Neji to Tenten and back to Neji. "It's true. Hinata, Kakashi recently arrived. You found Naruto. He will arrive today," Neji confirmed.Hinata was on her feet in one jump, ran to Neji and Tenten and hugged them both. With tears in her eyes she ran past the two of them. She had to get the news to Sasuke and him right away. She ran through the village as fast as she could. He was definitely on the training ground. She was just running around the corner when she saw Sasuke standing in the middle of the square. "Sasuke ..... Sasuke, you found him. Naruto, you found him. You will come today." She shouted and stopped at the gate. Sasuke looked at Hinata, a smile forming on his face. He had to sit down, the joy and relief overwhelmed him. They really found Naruto, after two years they finally found him. Sasuke couldn't believe it. Hinata stood in front of him and offers him her hand to help him up. Sasuke took her hand and stood up. They both made their way to the village gate to wait for Naruto ...

Naruto could already see the village. They were still a bit away and yet he could feel Hinata near him.His steps accelerated automatically. They got closer and closer to the village.
They were almost there now. Naruto stopped. He could see Hinata. Her hair was blown to one side in the wind, she was wearing tight clothes and looked at Naruto. Their eyes get caught in one another. None of them could leave their place. Suddenly Hinata ran off and was in a few seconds in Naruto's arms, who clasped her tightly in his arms. He had her back, her delicate body nestled against Naruto, he sucked this moment deep inside himself, couldn't get enough. A feeling of happiness built up in him that he hadn't had for a long time. How could he live without her ?! None of them wanted or could say anything, they just enjoyed the moment.
Suddenly Naruto felt a hand on his shoulder. He pulled away from Hinata and turned around, Sasuke smiling down at him. These two also hugged. Sasuke had grown quite a bit and was almost half a head taller.In the embrace, Naruto looked at Itachi, who had wrapped himself up with bandages shortly before they came within sight of the village so that nobody would know who he was at first.
The small group then made their way to Tsunade. Something drew Sasuke's gaze to the hooded ninja. Sasuke couldn't explain the reason for it himself, but something was wrong with this ninja. What, he was going to get that out.
Hinata held Naruto's hand tightly all the way. She was afraid that this could all be just a dream and that Naruto would not be there in the next moment. But it wasn't a dream, she told herself, he really is back with her and she wouldn't lose him again, she'd rather die.
Arrived at Tsunade only Jiraya, Naruto and the hooded Itachi entered the office. Kakashi was already there and locked the door. Tsunade came around her table, took Naruto in her arms and kissed his forehead. "I am so glad that you came home safe and sound."she said softly to Naruto. Naruto could see tears shimmering in her eyes, just like before with Hinata. Then she turned to Itachi:" You can reveal yourself, I want to talk to you face to face. "she said to Itachi, slightly irritated. She knew that Itachi had not lied about his story and yet she was angry at him inside for simply taking Naruto with him. Itachi did what she asked of him and Tsunade could use his Eyes recognize that something had changed in him. The small group explained what had to be clarified. After the conversation, Itachi masked himself again. They had agreed that Itachi should not show his face until further notice, the main reason for this was Sasuke, yes the villagers would also act with unrest and anger.

Naruto, Sasuke and Hinata went to Naruto home. When they opened the door came a loud "surprise". Naruto opened the door and saw that all of his friends were there.Everyone beamed at Naruto and came running to greet him. The friends sat together for a long time and told each other the news. Naruto found out about Neji and Tenten's engagement. Now that Naruto was back the planning for the wedding began.
