The golden autumn season had started a few days ago. Typical of this time of year were the falling brown leaves of the trees that stood at the edge of the paths, floating like a feather to the ground. The wind rustled in people's ears like the water of the sea.
The sun shone its last strength until the lurking winter showed itself. She radiated a pleasant warmth that she wanted to give people as a goodbye. It looked like the village, also called Konoha, was wrapped in a golden veil. Soon the sun would set, leaving people in the cold.
But the four stone-carved Hokage heads were still bathing in the sun for a short time. And the few people on the streets also took advantage of them and now made their way home to their family or partner.Children were picked up by their mothers. Everyone would wish that such a peaceful time would last forever. But these are only dreams.

A young girl was also walking through the streets, wrapped in a thick winter jacket and a self-knitted scarf around her neck. The cold wind blew mercilessly into her pretty face. But she completely ignored this. She had her pink hair that glistened in the sun and was hidden under a woolen hat, only a few strands hung in her face. With a satisfied smile, she quietly hummed a song to herself and ran down her path until she stopped at a staircase and looked up.
These steep stairs led up to the four heads of the Hokage. With a happy squeak, she jumped up the stairs as if something was waiting for her up there. The girl held on to the rocks and looked up intently with her large emerald green eyes, then took a deep breath. The words she called in her bright voice towards the tip echoed for a while and this conjured a slight smile on her lips. She loved the echo. As if she were a goddess of the air. Yes, she had a lot of imagination, this is what her mother always said, and so did she. You who was probably sitting up there watching the sunset. "The cherry blossom is back !!" she called again and listened to the echo.
“Sakura, don't make the whole village aware of you and finally come upstairs.” An annoyed voice came from the direction in which Sakura was staring all the time. “I'm coming.” The little one quickly hopped up the last stony steps and had to start to be amazed, as she always did, when she saw the sun disappear behind the mountains.
Only a piece of her beamed to her. But there was a black spot in the sun and this spot could only be one.

Excited, they ran to the figure crouching on the rock and sat down next to her. "Wow!!" marveled the pink-haired girl.“Nice not,” whispered the person next to her, as if she didn't want to break the pleasant silence. "Fantastic!!" cried the little one breathtakingly and stood up at the call. "Sora? Will we see you here again tomorrow?" Sakura pleaded and turned her head to her cousin. The barely recognizable person, because of the strong rays of the sun, said nothing. She forced a smile and looked out over the village. "Sakura, take a look at the village. What do you see?" A little confused by the question, Sakura looked down at the half-sleeping village. "Hm, don't know.
It looks great and especially beautiful in the setting sun. "Said the pink-haired one firmly and smilingly turned back to her cousin. She only nodded and went down on her knees, so that she was now at Sakura's height. She was already 14 years old and young Haruno only 8 years. Sakura looked questioningly into her eyes. Her unrelated blue-gray eyes that had always fascinated her. That shimmer in them. Sora took something out of her pants pocket with one hand and pressed it into Sakura's hand.Sakura couldn't see what it was and stared expectantly into Sora's eyes. She looked at her piercingly and yet she smiled slightly. "Little cherry blossom, this is a gift for you. I have the same, so if you carry it with you, it will hold us together forever," she whispered. Sakura stared at Sora, spellbound. But slowly turned to the object that she was just getting pressed into her hand. It glowed, or rather shimmered.
Her eyes widened in surprise and caught her breath in amazement. She still admired it. It was a small, colorless, transparent crystal. It was half a heart shape. She quickly looked up again at her cousin, who had stood up. "And you have the other half of your heart right?" she asked excitedly, since she had never had anything like it before. "As always, you quickly buckled it up again, you little genius." laughed the brown-haired one. She ruffled the little one over the hat and said: "Take care of it, because this crystal is something very special!" she said and winked at Sakura. She nodded eagerly and hopped around the older one for joy.
Sora had to smile and slowly went to the stairs. "Come on Saku, it's almost pitch black, let's go, I'll take you home. Oh, I'm sure I'll get shit from your mother ..." she groaned and took Sakura by the hand.

When they reached the valley, there was complete silence in the village. Everyone was asleep. Only 14 and 8 year olds stayed in the dark and made their way home. They stopped in front of a house. Sora bent down to her and gave her a little kiss on the red cap. "So and now sleep well, my little Cherry." Whispered the older one and got up again.

She rang the doorbell and shortly a woman opened the door. "Sakura, Sora, why are you so late ?! No matter now. Home with you guys !!" said the sternly and ordered Sakura into the house. Sora just smiled embarrassed and waved goodbye to Sakura. When Sakura was gone, Sora apologized to Sakura's mother."I'm really sorry, Miya, but we still had to do something urgent hehe." Embarrassed, she scratched the back of her head and smiled at the woman in front of her. "No, I have to thank you Sora for how you take care of her, thank you." Miya bowed. Embarrassed, Sora blushed a little and stumbled back a few steps. "Uh, I think I have to go home too, otherwise Mum will have a seizure that she'll have anyway." She sighed, annoyed. "Take care of yourself my love." Mrs. Haruno called after her, waving.
With quick steps, the brown-haired Anbu ran through the streets towards home. It was now pitch dark and only the lamps on the edge of the streets gave her some light.

"Ahhhhh, that can't be !!" "Pschhhht, Naruto be quiet, the others might still be sleeping!" whispered a grumbling voice, annoyed. "What can I do if such a beast wakes me up!" the other voice hissed back softly."Ahhh, how annoying, why did I even let myself be persuaded for this mission." It came from the other voice with a sigh. "Hey, you can't even be quiet, some want to sleep, it's the middle of the night and 3 o'clock to be precise!" came a third male and irritable voice that sounded very sleepy. "Then go back to sleep, Hyuuga!" Naruto hissed softly so that no more woke up. A growling and cursing could be heard from Neji, but immediately it was quiet again. But one of them had long awakened from her dream. But hadn't said anything, just listened to the voices. To be honest, the pink-haired one hadn't felt like bothering with this troublemaker. No, she just wanted to sleep to be fit for the long journey tomorrow. Or to finish dreaming this dream too.
