Fanfic: Pirates of the Grand-Line

Chapter: fog

This time it's a short Kappi but it doesn't matter, nobody reads anyway. If so, please please leave it there.
Greetings Schtifft

They have been on the road for two weeks and for two weeks Zorro has voluntarily taken over the post in the crow's nest. He'd had the same routine for two weeks. Get up - have breakfast - refer to the lookout - exercise (in the crow's nest) - lunch - go back to the lookout and train - dinner - sleep. He even refrained from sleeping during the day, which was very unusual for him, but he had to keep an eye out. ~ Still better than sitting in the boys' room all day ~ he thought to himself.
Tashigi had already settled in well with the gang by this time and had already found several advantages compared to the Navy. Sleep in, do whatever you want, have fun, no commands like * clean the deck *, see very good food and the most important thing for you, friends, friends who would go through hell for you.In the Navy she had had a couple of colleagues with whom she got along quite well and with whom she had a coffee every now and then, but she was never really friends.
In these two weeks she had only seen Zorro eating, otherwise he saw him in the crow's nest and every time she tried to speak to him she only got an angry growl in response, so she let it go. Nami only said that he would be able to recover.
During those two weeks, Luffy had given her a nickname because he didn't like Tashigi. From then on they all called only Iggi, except of course Zorro.
After these two weeks in which nothing exciting had happened, they reached the next island, Mortis Island. Nami had promised Tashigi to buy her some clothes there, but since they hadn't found out anything about the island except that it was supposed to spit there - much to Lysop's bad luck and Luffy's bliss - Robin didn't know anything about this island either. When they got closer to the island they only saw rocks. A small island made only of rocks, but since they had almost no more drinking water, they still put on to look for a spring.
Sanji, Usopp and Zorro stayed with the ship. Usopp because he was shit, Sunji because he wanted to cook so long and had to clean up the kitchen and Zorro because he didn't want to be around Tasigis. The rest of the group went to look for a source.
After they had walked for a while, a thick fog came up in which of course they lost Luffy.
It also got noticeably colder. After a few unsuccessful calls, they decided to take a break and as soon as everyone was sitting on the floor they were asleep.

"In this fog you will find it difficult to find your way back." Sunji stated meanwhile.
"We should fix lamps on the ship so they can see us when they are close enough," said Usopp. Meanwhile, Zorro fell asleep on the deck.
"How can he sleep in this cold?" Usopp asked himself and pointed to Zorro."No idea. Can you get one of Von Nami's storm lamps? You already know the ones that burn very brightly." asked Sanji.
"Do it yourself. I don't want to stress with Nami just because I've rummaged through her stuff." said Usopp angrily.
"Well then I'll do it myself." Said the cook and made his way to the girls' room.
Ten minutes later they had the lamp attached to the top of the mast and were hoping that their friends would see the light.
"I'll make myself a coffee, it'll warm up. Do you want one too?" Sunji asked as they sat together in the kitchen.
"Nice tea," said the latter.
Usopp had never been seen so expressionless. It was like he had no feelings.
Sunji got up and made tea and coffee. He noticed how he slowly lost the urge to feel something. It was just like feeling senseless.
~ That must be because of this damn fog ~ he thought and then he remembered Zorro who was still on the outside. Suddenly he felt again and that fear for a friend.“Usopp hollow quickly Zorro in.” He instructed the gunner.
"What do you mean? He's sleeping very well out there." Usopp said blankly.
"I think this fog steals our feelings."
Now Usopp woke up from his melancholy and ran onto the deck to get Zorro inside.
Only seconds later he was back in the kitchen with a questioning-looking Zorro.
After Sanji briefly briefed him on the fog, Zorro understood Lysop's insurrection.
"So I feel the same as always," he said. "Maybe the stuff doesn't work for me."
"I don't know why, but it seems like that." said Sanji.
"Then maybe you should go and find our friends. Before they wander around like soulless zombies," Usop said.
Zorro had a quick cup of coffee, then set off.

Tashigi woke up and looked around, which was of little use because it was pitch black. She got up and walked a few steps in some direction. "Robin? Nami? Chopper? Are you here somewhere? "She shouted into the darkness, but got no answer. She ran on, but after only a few steps she hit a wall. She felt her way along the wall. She was in a rock chamber and she was alone.
