Tashigi was scared. Suddenly a light appeared next to her. She turned to see her mother and herself standing with her as a child, didn't she? The two figures looked somehow transparent and emitted a strange blue-white light. That was how she had always imagined ghosts. The two apparitions took a step towards her and Tashigi flinched back.
"Tashigi my dear. I didn't think I would ever see you again." Her mother said.
"Go away !!! You can't be here at all !!! And I can't be a ghost. It's impossible. I'm just imagining you guys !!!" she screamed.
"We are neither imagination nor ghosts. We are souls. And all souls who have not kept a promise come to this island. Until the promise is kept," said her mother gently.
"I don't want to hear that !!" Tashigi continued to shout.
"Please listen to us. Otherwise I'll have to stay on this island forever." Now her mother's voice sounded sad.
Tashigi forced himself to calm down.If the ghost told her the truth then at least she didn't want to be at fault if she had to stay here forever.
"Okay. I'm listening." she said and her mother began to speak.
"Please listen to the whole story first and only then do you speak again. First of all, it's not you, it's your little sister Kuina." Tashigi didn't force himself to say anything. ~ Kuina! That was the name Zorro had given her. Her sister? ~ Her mother's sister continued: "When I was pregnant with Kuina, I and your father only argued and when she was born we parted and then completely. Kuina stayed with her father and I moved away with you. You were almost two at the time Years old. Your father and I made the promise that we would tell you as soon as you were old enough for the truth. But in my eyes you were never ready and I was afraid that you would hate me for it. Then this accident happened with him I died, I didn't keep my promise to your father.I can only leave this world completely when you both know the truth and now the time has finally come. I can leave this world at dawn and your father is also relieved of his burden and will not end up on Mortis Island because of this promise, because he has not told Kuina either. Many Sellen have lived here for centuries and have never found salvation, but I am free now. It is a good feeling. At sunrise I can leave this world. "Her mother finished her story.
"Why at sunrise?" asked Tashigi.
"I don't know, but we souls can only pass into the other world at sunrise or sunset." she answered.
They chatted a bit about the old days. ~ I can't believe it, I'm gossiping here with my mother's ghost ~ Tashigi thought in horror. Kuina just sat next to it all the time and whenever she wanted to speak to her, she just put her finger on her lips and shook her head.
At some point her mother got up and said: "The sun is about to rise and I have to go.Farewell my daughters. "Then she disappeared.
"Goodbye mom!" shouted Tashigi, hoping that her mother had heard it.
Then everything was gone. The cave, Kuina, everything and she sat back on the rocks. The sun had risen in the meantime. The fog was gone and on the edge of the island she saw the Flying Lamb. ~ Was it all just a dream? ~ she wondered. It was so real.
She went back to the ship thoughtfully.
There was already a lot of activity there. Sanji was serving breakfast and Robin, Chopper and Nami were there too. Only luffy and Zorro were missing.
"Iggi! There you are." Nami jumped up and hugged her. "There was this fog and then we fell asleep and then you were gone and we went back to the ship and now you are back and ... I'm so glad that you are fine." Nami blabbered to himself. Tashigi broke away from Nami and sat down at the table to have breakfast. Sanji briefed her about the strange fog and Robin explained that it is called Sensus Nebula, feeling fog.When she asked about Zorro and Luffy, Usopp told her that Zorro had set out to look for the others because the fog didn't seem to have bothered him. When he wanted to explain to her what happened to Luffy, he just stormed through the door and yelled: "HUNGER !!!!!".
Sanji gave him a plate and when he had eaten he said: "There was this fog and I lost you somehow. Then I fell asleep and when I woke up I was looking for the ship."
No one seemed to have had any ghostly apparitions except for Tashigi. They were all as always.

Later she stood leaning against the railing with Robin and waited for Zorro. They hadn't put together a new search party because of the fog, because they didn't want to risk someone losing their feelings.
"Did anything happen to you while you were sleeping, on the island I mean?" asked Tashigi.
"No. Nothing at all, but where did you go?" Robin asked back.
"If only I knew.I have to think about that myself first. "She said and Robin didn't ask any further questions either.
