Okiyo went to her apartment. When she got there it was pretty much the same as always. Dead silence. Okiyo's parents died when she was five years old. But they did not die of a natural death. They were murdered by their own sister, Kisami. It happened exactly ten years ago. Okiyo came back from training. When she came into the house, she shouted, as always, "I'm back", but there was no answer, otherwise there was always a "Yes, we too". Okiyo looked around the house, but no one was there.
Suddenly she heard a whisper. As if controlled, she went into the garden. And there stood her sister with a huge sword that belonged to her father. But what Okiyo saw behind her sister, she will probably never be able to forget. Her parents were smeared with blood. "What did you do Kisami ?!" called Okiyo. Her sister just looked at her and just said it was fate. "Fate? What do you mean? What are you talking about?" just asked Okiyo. "Bagersoke" Again Okiyo didn't understand what her sister wanted.But then her sister disappeared and again Okiyo only heard a whisper. "Hate" Okiyo didn't understand anything anymore and ran to her hiding place. Alone in a cave, Okiyo sat and cried.
"And did you kill her?" asked a deep voice. Wet from the rain, Kisami went to him. "Well what about, did you or not?" "I mentioned bagersoke." she just replied. "Bagersoke? You mean our organization? It's called Bakasuki!" he answered.
Okiyo just couldn't understand why her sister was killing her own parents. And what did she mean by fate, bagersoke and hatred? Okiyo didn't know what she meant by that. “Maybe all because of him?” She remembered the pain as the demon was sealed inside her by force and that only so that her family would get respect from other residents in the village.
But then she no longer knew whether she should mourn for her family now. Actually, they had only used them as weapons. Maybe that's why Kisami killed her parents.Or just like that? Okiyo stopped thinking and fell asleep.
The next morning Okiyo woke up and didn't know why she was in the cave at first, but then she remembered yesterday evening. She wasn't sure whether to go back to the village or not. “Hello Okiyo, what are you doing here so early?” But she wasn't listening to her, she was so deep in thought. Only when Mel tapped her did an answer come. "Yes? What is it?" Mel just looked at her, "What's wrong?" Okiyo wasn't sure whether to tell her everything or just run away. She burst into tears out of desperation. Mel didn't even know what was going on at first, but then Okiyo comforted her. Okiyo tried to stop crying and told Mel everything that happened yesterday. "Now we have more in common, Okiyo, you know that?" Okiyo just grinned and was happy that she had Mel. Who else could she have told everything and would have been understood? Together they went back to the village and went to the Hokage.Since then she has been going to her family's old part of town alone once a year and laying a red feather in front of her old house as her family symbol.
