Hello, to all of you who have made it this far, a few more things to explain. I don't own any of the characters, I just borrowed them. Also, I've changed some characters' pasts a bit.
At first it might be a bit boring, but it's my first FF and just the prologue.

'Hm' -> someone thinks

Note: The prologue is written from Zane's point of view.


Prolog:

Nine years earlier


It was a day like any other. Atticus and I went home from school with Alexis. It's now been two years since our parents divorced. How time flies. "Hey, Zane! You will surely come back to us for lunch, won't you?" Atticus´ voice abruptly tore me from my thoughts. "Your father is still working anyway, so we can do homework together right away.", Atticus continued. "Eh, of course, of course. As far as I am.", I stuttered, not quite at the point. I spent the afternoon with Atticus and Alexis as usual, since my father had to work more since the divorce from my mother and came home late at night.
