Hokage: I'll protect you!


I was back in my office doing the paperwork. The sun was shining on Konoha and it was a warm winter day. I was picking up the last of the papers when there was a knock on the door. "in" I called. The Kazekage entered the Hokagen's office. "Hello Gaara" "Hello Sukima". Yes, I became Hokage a year ago. Tsunade's last wish was that Naruto should become Hokage. But he wasn't back from his trip and I became a temporary Hokage. I got up and went to Gaara. "Did you have a nice trip" "Yes". He pulled me close and kissed me. I returned the kiss. Slowly we broke apart and looked each other in the eye.

Blue met green.
Green met blue.

Suddenly the door was thrown open and Shizune ran inside. Hokage-sama Orochimaru attacks Konoha. Naniiiii ????An ANBU had noticed. Immediately evacuate all people and you evacuate some of them to the roof of the Hokagen building. And notify all of the ninjas and call them up for a meeting on the rooftop, immediately. Do you understand? HAI Hokage-sama.

5 minutes later on the roof of the Hokagen.

Genin won't fight, they'll stay on the roof too. Chuunin and Jonin will fight center to front. The ANBU, me and the Kazekage will fight on the front lines. Do you all understand? HAI Hokage-sama.

It was a relentless struggle to survive. Again and again one could hear Kunais clashing and screams of death. I realized: I have to use THAT otherwise Konoha will go under. I gave them a sign and they knew what to do. I made finger marks and shouted: Ninpo Saito Fujiin Kai Jutsu and the seal on my forehead came off. The marks of the seal spread all over my body and my chakra formed into a dragon. I fought my way to the front and formed finger signs.I called: Ninpo Saiton Katon Haito Jutsu and a huge cloud of smoke formed. Meanwhile, everyone from Konoha lay down on the floor. When the cloud of smoke disappeared I stood on a kite that was as big as Konoha. I made finger signs again and shouted: Ninpo Kaiten Jutsu and the dragons exploded and the dragons became icicles. They shot at the enemy and rammed them through. In the end, Orochimaru disappeared with the rest of the people. My whole body was trembling. He was full of blood. I noticed how my strength left me. I heard Gaara's voice and turned my head to him with the last of my strength. He was crying for me. G..aa ... ra. Sukima, please don't die, please don't leave me alone. Gaara gomene… ..sai. I knew my time was up. He kissed me. I felt his warm, delicate lips. I looked at the sky, snow. It's snowing for the first time in 3 years. The cold snowflakes fell on my face.With my last strength I said Ga …… .ar ………. a, I …… .ch ……… .Li ……… b…. e d… i …… c.h. I love them too, Sukima. I looked into his green eyes one last time.

Blue met green.
Green met blue.

I took one last breath. A smile formed on my lips and the snow fell on us. I heard Gaara's voice one last time. I closed my eyes ……… ... forever.


Being Hokage is not difficult.
But to know what is behind the title Hokage is difficult.
A Hokage sits in the office every day.
He hands out missions every day.
But in combat, the Hokage is the person who carries the hardest task.
He lives to protect his village from ruin.
He protects every life.
He is the person who would die for his country.
