Chapter: I want to be free
Hello, I made an Easter present for you here and just sat down at the PC.
I hope you enjoy reading it !!
______
A life without chains and without the curse that sat on me. That was my dream. That's what people called it when they wanted or wanted something. A dream.
But not in these lives anymore. It was too late for that, because my soul was already in the dark. I was a being that was dependent and knew no light. I grew up in a cellar, deep underground. People had tried or experimented with us. With steel chains we hung like objects in rows on the walls and had to endure everything. I couldn’t feel pain for a long time, and even less fear. We were called vampires, bloodsuckers, but I wasn't sure what that meant.
At a certain time, what people called 'day', we were given blood for food. It didn't matter whether it tasted good or not, because that's the only way we could go on living, that's what the people who gave us the stuff told us. They fed us like animals. Chained up. They were afraid of becoming a victim themselves, even though I didn't know how to suck a person's blood. We hadn't been learned, so why should I be able to do it? I've lived in this dungeon all my life, tied to the stone walls.
A noise too familiar to me got me out of my thoughts, out of my self-pity that I hated too deeply. I had no strength to move, so I tried not to move my limp body in the first place. Quiet and targeted steps came towards me and stopped right in front of me.
Strangely enough, my body was weak, but I could hear and see very well. According to my guess, there had to be three people who were now standing in front of me. It was others, as usual, who brought me my food."You are a vampire." A voice noted with delight, whereupon I slowly lifted my head to see who these guys were. Was it people? Her aura was a little different from the others. My red-hot eyes caught, as I had suspected, three human figures in front of me.
"Where are the other vampires ?!" the person in front asked sternly. An unknown feeling crept into me, but I couldn't interpret it. It felt uncomfortable.
“Don't know.” It escaped my dry throat, which almost made me cough. The air was very sticky down here. When I took a closer look at the people, something suddenly hit me that made me hold my breath. A little further back, glowing red eyes stared at me, but they were somehow different from ours.
“Find the others.” Said the first of the three again, turning to the third person.
"Yeah, just take it easy. They won't run away, after all, they're chained up like little dogs." The answer was mocking.
"Kabuto." “Hai.” Immediately this gray-haired guy turned and left the cell.
"These are dreaded vampires, they look more like they were outcast from their family." The stranger scoffed with his glowing eyes and looked at me in disgust.
"Well, they weren't raised among the free vampires either, but by humans, Sasuke."
Free vampires? Did they really exist who knew sunlight and, as Sasuke said, were feared? If this was the truth, then I wanted to live like them too. Something in me stirred, a kind of meaning in life grabbed me.
"Tse, why do we need such a worm like that and why don't we catch a real vampire, he would be more useful." Came a snort, which is why I looked at him with flickering eyes. What was this person imagining? The same blood flowed inside me as theirs out there.
I couldn't suppress a growl.Immediately there was an amused giggle that came from the first person. The Uchiha looked at his master in silence, but said nothing.
“But you're also a slightly provocative vampire.” Again that hissing laugh and that snake-like laugh, as if it wanted to devour me. Slowly this feeling emerged for the second time, an insatiable feeling. It made me shiver a little, but suddenly I noticed something. Normally the food would have been brought in at this time. The feeling was the hunger and also one of the reasons why my mouth felt more and more dry.
"Where are these people who bring me my meal!" I hissed and looked waiting at the door, the only entrance and exit of this cell. Annoyed, I looked up at the contortionist, who had already started laughing again. What was so funny about that.
“I'm sorry, smaller one, but it doesn't exist anymore.” It came with amusement. But suddenly panic seized me. They were dead. Now who would 'feed' us and take care of us? "What! Since you're crazy, I need them to survive!" I shouted like a madman, pulling at the chains. The two strangers hadn't expected that and automatically took a small step back. I was gripped by anger and fear at the same time. I didn't want to die down here yet.
"What do you want from me!" I screamed again and again and threateningly showed my pointy teeth, which humans did not have. It was probably another characteristic of vampires, but I didn't know what they were used for. The contortionist, who now introduced himself to me as Orochimaru, came up to me quickly.
“Well, I have a little request for you if we let you out greedily.” I stopped immediately and didn't move. They wanted to release me.
"What should I do?" "You are one of the leaders of the vampires, in this basement. At least they listen to you. That's why we came to you." He started to explain.“We let all your friends go free and you get something for us.” “What is it ?!” Impatiently, I stared at my counterpart, whereupon he laughed again. I glanced briefly at the other guy who was staring back in silence. But suddenly I looked into the snake eyes of my counterpart, who had suddenly stopped laughing.
"There is someone who hunts and kills the vampires. They call him a notorious samurai, get me this, you owe us nothing more, then you are free forever, but do not disappoint me." The white-skinned one warned and saw me penetrating. Shortly afterwards I nodded eagerly.
"If it is no more, then I agree. Anything that goes against our species will be killed." My voice echoed resolutely through the room and immediately all my chains and bells fell to the ground. I was free.
_____
(In a completely different place)
The sun had recently reached its highest point and was radiating a heat that worried many of the residents, noticed the boy, who was sitting on a concrete river bank and dangling his feet in it to cool off. A deep sigh rang out beside him. It was a young woman who looked bored at the surface of the water and also let her bare feet bathe in it.
“Why do we have to be here in the middle of the day when there is no shadow to be found far and wide?” With an exaggerated nod, the blond boy agreed.
"I'm sure the old perverted hermit is sitting somewhere in a bar surrounded by women and gets drunk again." "Who gets drunk? You mean me, Naruto?" "Eh eh..n-no. I didn't say that." Naruto stuttered and jerked to his feet to run away if necessary. But nothing happened.
Jiraiya looked somewhat sternly at his companion.
“And you San are also less and less of a help to me, if you behave like him.” Annoyed, the addressed stood up and looked at the old man grimly.
"What can I do if I melt away from the heat and besides, where have you been hanging around all this time, huh?""Jiraiya just shook her head in silence.
"I'll tell you later, we'll get into the boat first, then we can continue talking." He pointed to a small wooden boat with his hand.
“Well, at least it's shaded.” Jiraiya's companion murmured and boarded the boat first, followed by Naruto and Jiraiya. Immediately the boat set off along the current. There was silence between them for a while, but that was more because of the heat. Completely exhausted, San waved some air in her face with her hands. Jiraiya watched her skeptically, but turned away, shaking her head, and looked at the water behind her.
Naruto looked grimly between the two of them. At some point it got too stupid for him and tried to sit still, which he didn't quite succeed.
"Hey hey, Ero-sennin. What are we doing here? Why are we going on a cruise? I want to train and learn a new Jutsu, that's why I went on this trip with you!" it came impatiently. Annoyed, Jiraiya crossed his arms over his chest and took a deep breath.
“There are two reasons I'm doing this, Naruto.” The gray-haired man raised his index finger to emphasize his point.
“First, I found out about Akatsuki.” San looked up in silence. Akatsuki? She observed her surroundings inconspicuously. Were they spied, which is why he wanted to talk about this on the ship? She didn't see anything that was acting strangely. But she felt Jiraiya's warning look.
So something was actually wrong here. The brown-haired nodded slowly, whereupon Naruto stared at her in confusion. She ignored his question and continued to watch her surroundings. She herself did not know this organization, but had been told something about the old owl and one thing she was now aware of. Those Akatsuki were very dangerous and clever when they were around here. She looked around with concentration. Not a single breeze could be felt, only the rushing water and the chirping crickets in some patches of grass could be heard. She only overheard the discussion between Jiraiya and Naruto. Although she heard their voices, she understood nothing of the content.
"And secondly: we will train here" finished the gray-haired sentence.
"Here? And what are you teaching me? Uh uh, I know. Maybe to fly or run through fire?" "Neither of them. I'll show you how to dissolve genjutsu." The blond looked at his sensei in horror.
"I don't want to learn how to dissolve something, I want to learn more jutsus!" came it indignant, whereupon San glanced briefly at Naruto.
"Is what?" she looked around questioningly, but continued to be ignored.
"Listen, Naruto. If you're trapped in a genjutsu, there are a few tricks you can use to resolve it-" "Ero-sennin." "You should already know
