Hermione was married to Draco, but one day Draco had killed himself.
It all started with Draco cheating on his wife and never telling her.
But one day his affair revealed that she was pregnant but didn't want to take care of the child.
So Draco had to tell his wife the truth and hope that he hadn't destroyed everything.
Right in the evening when the children were asleep, he saw his chance.
"Hermione! I need to talk to you," he began then, looking at Hermione rather seriously.
"What's wrong?" Hermione asked, suddenly feeling strange.
"It's not exactly easy! But I just have to tell you now," he said and continued to look at her.
Hermione said nothing more and just kept looking at her husband.
"Hermione, I'm really sorry, but I had an affair and she's pregnant by me! But she doesn't want to take care of the child," he managed to say, continuing to look at Hermione.
Hermione slowly digested what he had said and then just cried.
"Say that is not true," she said in a tear-choked voice.
"It's true! I'm so sorry Hermione," he said, hugging her.
Hermione didn't know what to do and just kept crying at first.
After a while, she calmed down and broke away from the embrace.
"Good! We'll take the child in and I'll adopt it! I'll take care of the child as if it's my own," Hermione said and looked at Draco seriously.
Draco was quite amazed at his wife's behavior but managed to nod.Now 9 months had passed and little Luna Malfoy saw the light of day.
Hermione adopted Luna and looked after her like her own child.
