Vampire High School

Eine blutiges Band aus Macht, Gierde und Vertrauen

The stranger

“Damn, I'm late!” Sakura cursed softly and ran as fast as she could down the empty corridors. She should have been there ten minutes ago if that stupid bus hadn't been late!
"And that on my first day of school!" moaned the girl softly and looked around. Somehow every floor here looked the same and every corridor identical to the hundreds of others in this huge school.
Blue walls with white stripes at the top, long rows of lockers and a number of locked doors with complicated sequences of numbers. Everything was squeaky clean and almost clinically pure, like she was in a hospital.
The stairs that led up and connected the four floors were made of white marble and curved slightly. The railing writhed in front of detailed decorations and the steps were decorated with scripts from a language unknown to Sakura.
But at the moment she had completely different problems, because if she didn't find her classroom soon, she would only be able to admire the doors from the outside on her first day of school.
"Three hundred and seventy and three, three hundred and seventy and four a, three hundred and seventy and four b ..." she muttered, frantically brushing her hair off her forehead.
Number three hundred and seventy and eight was where she was supposed to meet. Almost ten minutes ago.
Great.
"The next door on the right!"
Sakura winced when someone spoke to her from behind. Amazed, she turned and stared into the face of a tall, black-haired boy who had appeared out of nowhere behind her. When she saw him, her mouth fell open in astonishment.
The newcomer had pale and delicate skin, which nevertheless harmonized wonderfully with the dark hair.
His black school uniform with the white collar matched his complexion perfectly and wrapped itself around his lithe body. He was muscular and looked athletic, but the most remarkable thing was his eyes. They glared at Sakura, unfathomably black and amused.
"And I would hurry, you're running late!"
Sakura was still staring like a fool and couldn't get a sound out.
Damn it, say something, something cool! Something that impresses him!
He grinned at her, revealing a series of amazingly white and straight teeth. Then he turned and left her standing without another word.
Sakura sighed, he sure thought she was pretty stupid! On the very first day she met the prettiest boy she had ever seen and was totally embarrassed! Anyway, thanks to him she had found her goal!
That was it, her new classroom with her classmates. If she had just wished for nothing more than to find this, she suddenly wanted to leave again. She hated being the new guy everyone was staring at and staring at. And that in such a huge splendid school!
"What the hell!"
With a jerk she opened the door and stepped inside. The room was brightly lit and she screwed up her eyes for a moment, only to open them again, blinking through tears.
"Students are always very welcome Mrs. Haruno, especially if you didn't expect them anymore!"
The sound of that cutting voice made the girl flinch and she quietly closed the door behind her. Sakura was standing in a room with about twenty students, all of whom were now staring at her. How she loved it! At the desk stood a teacher with short, black hair and dark sunglasses, who was now impatiently tapping his fingers on the edge of the table.
"If you would now please sit down, I'll take your personal details later!" Sakura nodded and looked around. There were some vacancies, but did she prefer to sit in the front or in the back?
"I don't think Hinata should mind a little company, right?"
Her sensei points to a black-haired little girl who slumped down on his chair and stared at the table.Sakura shrugged and sat down next to her.
Hinata looked up briefly, but immediately lowered her eyelids again when she met her gaze.
The pink-haired woman frowned and wished the others in her class were shy too. But for the whole lesson she felt their eyes on the back of her neck, so that it was almost impossible to concentrate on the lesson.
Ebisu, she only noticed what her name was Sensei over time, had a loud voice, but still managed to appear as sleepy as possible, which Sakura thought was an enormous achievement. When the doorbell finally rang, she yawned and leaned back.
Her classmates got up and ran around, she felt as if predators were circling her, hungry about to pounce on their prey at any moment.
“Your name is Sakura, right?” Surprised, she turned to the side, where she addressed Hinata without looking up.
“Uh, yeah. And you Hinata, right?” Resourceful answer. That would make her really popular!
But the black-haired woman smiled shyly and nodded. "I know how you feel, I haven't been here long either!" Amazed, Sakura looked at her and then had to smile too.
“Nice, that calms me down.” Hinata stopped answering and continued to stare at the table.
The pink-haired woman thought it better not to say anything more and preferred to watch the others.
“Hey, the new one, right?” An arm went around her neck from behind and almost strangled her.
"It's great, you can be happy that you made it to this school! My name is Kiba and you are Sakura, right?" Sakura twisted out of his grasp and turned around. A handsome boy with brown, tousled hair and bright eyes laughed happily at her.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you. But you obviously managed to survive Ebisu Sensei's class, what a great achievement for a newcomer!"
Sakura smiled weakly, she didn't really know what to say to that. But Kiba apparently didn't expect an answer either, he was waving eagerly to the boys behind him.
“Hey guys, come over here!” The pink-haired girl wanted to slow him down, she hated to be the center of attention, but a few seconds later she was already surrounded by curious people. A blond boy grinned broadly and proudly tugged at his jacket.
"My name is Naruto, I'm glad you're here! Have you moved here?"
She nodded weakly and hoped he wouldn't ask why. But the boy was not interested, but began to introduce her to those present one after the other. Sakura hardly remembered one of the many names, she forced a smile into the many faces in front of her and wished the hour to come.
When the doorbell rang, Naruto grimaced in disappointment.
"I'll go then, Asuma Sensei is not to be trifled with. But after that we will have chemistry in the same course, maybe we could sit next to each other?" It sounded hopeful; Sakura nodded and leaned back, exhausted.
The lesson was relatively calm, an ideal opportunity to take a closer look at the others. After the first rush they seemed to have calmed down again, she noticed how the individual glances became more and more sparse. Actually everyone was very nice, but Sakura would prefer it to be a little quieter around them. Hinata hadn't said a word the whole time, but somehow she couldn't get rid of the feeling that the black-haired woman knew that she liked it better. Satisfied, she put her hands on the table and tried to follow the lesson.
In contrast to her classroom, the chemistry room was relatively small and had two rows of three benches. Naruto and a boy whose name she hadn't remembered sat in the back, waving happily, and waited for Sakura to sit down next to them.
She dropped her bag on the floor beside her.
"Gai Sensei is really nice, but he does some crazy things sometimes, pray that you don't have to assist him with the experiments!" Naruto whispered, sliding closer to her.The other boy gave him a sour look and opened his book. Naruto noticed this and grinned.
"We know you have a crush on him, Lee, but that doesn't mean she has to fall prey to this guy, right? I think with carbon-green hair I'd find her a little weird!"
Sakura had to giggle, which brought them another evil look from the boy, which was more aimed at Naruto. He laughed and looked ahead again.
Sakura also wanted to turn to the lesson, but was distracted from the side. A blonde girl with big blue eyes and elaborate make-up who sat next to Hinata nudged her and formed words with her lips. Sakura shrugged her shoulders helplessly, whereupon she picked up a piece of paper and pen.
A little later the pink-haired woman was holding a piece of paper on which
"Afterwards with us in the canteen?" was standing. She nodded in the direction of the blonde, who smiled happily and poked a boy in front of her in the back with the pen.
He turned around angrily and she whispered something to him. He nodded in boredom, not without glancing briefly at Sakura.
She remembered his name was Shikamaru, she had noticed his annoyed look before. Still, she thought she liked him, and he didn't seem as crazy and talkative as Naruto. Satisfied, she turned back to the front to finally catch up on the attempt to pay attention.

"And on Wednesdays there is always cheering, if you feel like you can join in, I'll lead the group! But swimming isn't bad either, Thursday we have three free hours and the pool is wonderful, I can take you there afterwards!" The blonde named Ino beamed at her friendly and directed Sakura on the way to the canteen. The talkative
Girls chattered incessantly while her two male companions trudged behind. Shikamaru and Choji were a little quieter than she, but they seemed to get along well.
The aisles were full of students moving around the school in small groups or individually. It seemed to Sakura that most of them were a little older than her, but it could also be due to their straight posture and self-confident look. She made herself a little smaller so as not to attract attention and followed Ino through the dense crowd into a large hall.
There was a lot of activity in the dining room, half the school seemed to have gathered here. The blonde headed purposefully towards a large table at which Naruto, Lee, Kiba and a few others had already gathered.
"Sakura, there you are!" called the blonde and looked at her
