"Sie" das mysteiöse Verhängnis
The way to the temple
A few hours later "she" was no longer in the forest, no, now she was walking on muddy, swampy ground that belonged to the moor of the four voices. It was cold, but a little warmer compared to the forest. The view was obscured by a thick fog. She walked with great, brisk strides, moved on without great effort, others should have mustered more strength. The air was damp and cool, "She" drew it in and exhaled sharply, the breath being visible. Everywhere you looked, almost everything looked the same. She paused and stopped, then let her gaze wander. "She" thought she heard something, but there was nothing. Everything as always. But something inside her sounded the alarm. Over the years something like a sixth sense had developed that mostly warned her of danger. 'I know that there is something ...' she thought to herself, while her gaze flicked around searching. There, behind her, the water had moved. "You" jerked around. Something seemed to be in the water, circling them slowly and leisurely. The water was now up to her knees, no matter what it was, it could swim without any problems. She could see where the being was by the gentle waves of the water. It drew the circle smaller and smaller, so that after a brief moment it wasn't far from her legs. "She" decided at short notice to not walk in but on the water. A hand movement was enough and she was swept up by the water, so that her feet were now on the surface. The waves had stopped, which led to the conclusion that the being was possibly preparing for an attack. "You" turned around in a flash and ran on. The soles of her feet only touched the surface of the water, so she hardly left any traces and could sweep away at a supernatural pace. After a few minutes her steps slowed down again until they came to a stop. "She" turned her head and looked back one more time. She was breathing hard because the swamp gases she was breathing in were just too heavy. Her hand went to her head and lingered there for a while. 'I have to hurry ... otherwise I'll lose consciousness ...' she said to herself and hurried on. A while later the view cleared again and the ground firmer. The muddy bottom gradually disappeared, for a while "she" thought she was going on the spot because the feeling of not moving forward was just too big, but then the first blades of grass reappeared and it got warmer.
In the whole kingdom of Alvoron there was radical change in vegetation and climate, so it was not surprising that it was always a few degrees colder in a forest than on the mostly subsequent green plains, which stretched hundreds of square kilometers in the landscape and never end wanted to. The grass was always very tall and as green as you could hardly imagine. Only a few cobbled streets led into the cities, then there were still a few gravel roads that led somewhere into nowhere. All in all she was "you", even if from morning to night she did nothing but fulfill orders, very satisfied with what she had already seen so far. Because from the city of Glacies Submissim, which is well hidden in the far north, between two ridges of the Rondal Mountains, via Ulgonosa and Persolus, to Solum, she had to fulfill her orders and since discretion played a very important role, it was long marches, which sometimes even took weeks to achieve the goals.
