In the dungeon

Hello,
after my last ff was somehow not really asked I start a new attempt. ^^
I hope you like this one better.
I have kind of a small built into the ff.
Sometimes I wrote sentences using only characters such as a comma.
Those who don't care can skip these sentences as they are not particularly important.
If you enjoy it, you can play with it.
The following table will be a reading aid for you.
None of these sentences appear in the first chapter.
But if you feel like it, then copy the table to a clipboard so that you have it ready for the next chapter ^^
The words are bracketed by the way: (word)
This is how it gets easier ^^
I wish you enjoyed reading and leave me a quick pick, yes?
Your smily3 ^^

"The Crown Prince has been kidnapped!" Someone shouted from across the throne room. The Pharaoh rose from his throne.
"I beg your pardon?"
The man whose voice had just echoed through the throne room threw himself on the floor in front of his king and held out a piece of papyrus. Shimon, royal advisor and teacher to the Crown Prince, shot forward and snatched it from the man's hand.
"It's true! They are demanding the queen's jewel. If they don't get it, they'll either kill it right away or, if they're smart, sell it on to one of our hostile countries. That would give them leverage," Shimon explained to me always pale face with shock. Akunadin, vizier of Egypt and uncle of the crown prince, had to convince himself of this and looked at the piece of papyrus.
"We can't give it to them! The jewel is too powerful! If it falls into the wrong hands, then ..."
"Shut up Akunadin. Everyone in the room knows what that means. But I can't let my son die either!" Contradicted the Pharaoh, who had now recovered himself."What should we do then?" Asked Aknuadin as a counter-question.
There was silence at first on this question. But then Shimon said:
"My Pharaoh, may I speak?"
The Pharaoh granted this request.
"Maybe we can create a duplicate. A jewel that is identical to the queen's, but does not have the same powers."
"A duplicate? That takes weeks! By then the Crown Prince is no longer alive!", Akunadin pointed out.
"Shimon, how long exactly would it take to create a duplicate?" Asked the Pharaoh.
"Approximately four to five weeks if we hurry," he got in reply.
"It takes way too long!" Said Aknuadin.
"But maybe we don't have another chance! Shimon please get to work!"
"Very good, my Pharaoh!"

Outside the palace door, a girl had listened to the conversation. You could still clearly see the horror on her face. When the conversation ended, she hurried through the hallways until she reached a small study.
"Mahado!" She called excitedly into the room.
"Mana didn't I tell you not to bother me with my work?" Grumbled a boy who was a little older than herself.
"Yes but…"
"No, Mana!"
"It is really important!"
"What is it about?", Mahado was defeated.
"So the Pharaoh has ..."
"Exactly? Mana, you haven't been listening to the audiences again", Mahado interrupted her sternly.
"But…"
"But nothing! You don't have to listen and you know that!" He said sternly.
"The prince was kidnapped!", Mana finally got straight to the point.
"Mana, this is not a good joke!", But a look on Mana's face belied him.
"Is that really true?" He asked.
"Yes, yes! On the way back from the temple they were attacked and the crown prince captured. They want the queen's jewel as a ransom!""What? But you can't! The jewel has too much power ..."
"The Pharaoh knows that, so a fake should be made and given for the real jewel!"
"But that will take time! By then the prince will be dead!"
"He's not irreplaceable," said Mana suddenly.
"What are you talking about?"
"The prince has brothers who can take his place on the throne"
"Yes, but they are only one and three years old"
"Still. We have to do something!"
"No, Mana. Pharaoh will do anything to save him, I'm absolutely sure! He loves the Crown Prince more than anything, especially because it is the only son with the woman he once loved most! He won't leave him to die! But we shouldn't interfere! "Mahado insisted, sending Mana back to her own work.

Atemu opened his eyes carefully. It took a while before his vision was no longer blurred. He grabbed his head with one hand. No wound, just a lump, which must have been the cause of his severe headache. Apparently he had been hit on the back of the head. Slowly he remembered the last few minutes before he passed out. He shook himself and began to explore his surroundings. Although there wasn't much to discover. The Crown Prince was trapped in a room where he couldn't even stand straight. Two steps were all he could do. Bars prevented him from escaping. Atemu leaned his back against the wall and began to doze off again. He wasn't doing really well yet. Suddenly he heard a soft voice singing ...
"Believe me, little princess, it's nice that you exist, life is waiting for you and you know you will be loved. You are infinitely important, little center of the world. You have turned my life upside down ..."
He listened for a while and when the song was over he said:
"You have a beautiful voice""Uh- thank you," answered the girl who was also sitting in one of the dungeons, confused.
"And you are ...", she waited for an answer. She couldn't see him because her dungeon was right next to his. But she liked the voice that answered her very much. It was a male voice, but it spoke very softly:
"Atemu. My name is Atemu. And you?"
"Cleo"
"Nice to meet you, Cleo, even if in a not very good situation"
"How long have you been here?" She wanted to know.
"I don't know. I just woke up. And you?"
"Oh really? Then I probably slept through it! For a while, at least three or four weeks. I can't tell you exactly that. I've lost track of time."
"And why are you here?", Atemu now asked a question.
"It's a long story"
"Well, I have nothing else to do. You?"
Cleo had to smile.
"No"
"Well then"
She sighed.
"The people who took us prisoner are mercenaries. That means they had the order to catch us from somewhere. I guess my nose didn't fit one of them."
"Why shouldn't your nose fit someone?"
"Well, some people just don't like half-demons. They're scared of them"
"Half demons"
"Yes, something like that doesn't only exist in fairy tales. And no, I can't grant you three wishes or anything like that"
Atemu grinned.
"You are really weird, do you know that?"
"Weird how funny or weird how weird"
"A bit of both, I think"
"And that's what someone says who has just known me"
"I didn't mean it badly," Atemu said quickly when he heard the offended tone in her voice.
"That's fine"
"So you mean that people want to kill you because they thank you for being dangerous?"
"It's like that. Believe me, fear often leads people to bad things," Cleo told him.
"What about you?" She asked then.
"With me?"
"Yes, why did they take you prisoner""I guess they are expecting a ransom. I am the Crown Prince of Egypt," said Atemu.
"Without shit?"
Atemu was a little puzzled by the way she talked, but he replied:
"Yes, crown princes are not only found in fairy tales"
"You're hilarious," remarked Cleo with an ironic undertone.
"Weird how funny or weird how weird"
"Strange"
After a few seconds of silence, they both started laughing heartily.
"At least I have entertainment now"
"Unfortunately, that doesn't change the situation"
"But it makes you more beautiful"
"I have to agree with you"
"Well a suffering shared is a suffering halved"
"Right!"
"Tell me, what do you have ...?"
Atemu and Cleo talked for ages. So they learned that the two had common interests, even though they were fundamentally different. They didn't know how long they were stuck there, but they had a lot of fun together, even though they only had their voices from each other. At least they couldn't look at each other.
