What was that feeling?
So cold...





I slowly came to again. The first thing i felt
was the pain. I winced trying to stretch. My eyelids fluttered trying to open my eyes.
Gray. Everywhere just this desolate gray. I sighed and winced again. Inwardly I groaned, great. Slowly a strange beeping came to my ears, it was clearly coming from the left. As I turned my head in that direction, I saw it came from a monitor. Only then did I notice all the cables on my body and face. I turned my head in the opposite direction and saw an IV bag hanging from a stand. Next to it was another device that
but made no noise, just blinked. If I was right then I was in the hospital. Great
it hadn't been enough again. Somebody must have found me and brought me here. I noticed a faint ticking in the upper left corner of the room. When I looked over, I saw a clock. It indicated two-thirty at night. I had to suppress another groan so that I wouldn't be in pain. Even if I was an attempted suicide, the pain was uncomfortable when you didn't want one. As I turned my head back straight, I noticed a table and two chairs at the foot of my bed. A jacket was hanging on one of the two chairs, but I didn't think about it any further. I focused on my heartbeat. So slowly it worked and I became
sleepy again. Shortly before I sank into a dreamless sleep, I heard the door being quietly opened and closed, then the darkness swallowed me up.
