Chapter 1: Welcome to my Life

Hello my love! This is my first FF, I hope you enjoy it! The first chapter, like every other, is not really a big hit, but I ask you to read on! Please leave proper clerks behind. Have fun and greetings to beautiful East Frisia that I can count to my home! Nordic by Nature!

Rachel has always been a freedom-loving young woman. That's why she felt quite against the grain that she was put in boarding school by her oh-so-great parents. Even the normal school with its rules bothered them a lot. Don't do this, don't do that - it was always the same! She hated it when others were telling her. “But Dad I-!” “Nothing but! You go there, that's the best for you!” Was her father's answer every time, and every time Rachel got angrier. Not because her father wouldn't let himself argue with him - no - because he lied right in her face. Lying, another thing Rachel couldn't stand. The cheeky redhead was 100% sure that her father was not acting for her well-being, he just wanted to get rid of her.
Since her mother passed away, the relationship between father and daughter has been rather strained, downright electrifying. Like two magnets with the same poles, they bounced off each other again and again. They never stayed together for long in one room - because neither of them could nor wanted to. Rachel excused her father's behavior for the first few months, as the death of her mother was a severe blow, but 6 years had passed and the relationship did not improve. On the contrary, it got worse because her father remarried and, in her opinion, her new stepmother was anything but kind-hearted. Father and daughter had grown apart in the literal sense of the word.
The 19-year-old suspected that her stepmother was behind the decision to go to boarding school and was therefore the mastermind.Rachel couldn't prove it, however. But what a bummer!
Now she was lying there with her arms and legs stretched out on her bed, pouting about it. She would not be able to lie in this bed any longer, because tomorrow was the departure to boarding school and thus to a new life. Why was she actually resisting it? What did she really have to lose? Your family? Pah, she could do without that! School also missed her worst. But saying goodbye to her friends and her great love Jim was painful. Very painful. She didn't want to leave, she wanted to stay with them! Her hometown was also close to her heart, she would miss it very much ... Now that she thought about it, she had to admit to herself that she was scared. Afraid of something new. Fear of the unknown. Fear of change. She shook her head eagerly. No! She was strong! Resolutely, she straightened up and pulled on a jacket. She would be taken to boarding school very early tomorrow. There was no time to say goodbye, so for better or worse she had to say goodbye to her friends now. One more glimpse in the mirror told her that both hair and make-up were perfect, so she was ready to go out. She went out with a heavy step. A light, warm wind blew into her face and through her long, fiery red hair - a farewell to her beloved city.

At the usual meeting point of her clique - an old oak tree in the middle of the city park - she was greeted as always with a strong welcome. But instead of returning this greeting warmly, as usual, Rachel could only bring out a pained smile. She sat on the park bench on her friend Jim's lap and next to her best friend Fiona, who was eyeing her sympathetically. As always, she looked great doing it. Her black curls played around her face with the ocean blue eyes perfectly, which was made up discreetly and to match her sweet summer dress."Don't take it so hard Rey, we know that you can do it and we will always think of you ..." she mumbled softly and put one of her narrow hands on Rachel's shoulder. Jim's arms closed around her waist: "I will come to visit you often and talk to you on the phone, my darling." Rachel, who wanted to be strong in front of her friends and especially her Jim, smiled coolly at her: "Thank you guys! I will of course also teach you regularly about boarding school madness. "Max, a handsome, blond, young man with gray-blue eyes grinned at her:" We expect that from you too! You have to tell me especially about the girls there. If they are as hot as I've heard, I'll be the next to register there! "That was typical - what a womanizer! May, a pretty girl with long, dark brown hair, pinched his ear. This screamed and moaned in pain. However, May did not give up: "Our Rachel is leaving us and you have nothing better to say about it ?!" "It's good! It's good! I'm sorry!" , however, she gave her full attention again to the redhead Rachel: "Take your laptop with you so we can email each other! I'll make sure that you stay up to date, I promise!" Rachel nodded her thanks, then looked she accidentally checked her watch and sighed. How quickly time passed, especially when you least wanted it! Typical! In class time just crept by and it felt like an eternity before the bell rang and with something like that it raced at supersonic speed! "I'm sorry folks, I have to go again. I haven't packed my suitcase yet and if I push it too hard my stepmom will tear my head off!" With her, everyone else got up automatically. Fiona was the first to put her arms around her: "Stay the way you are and don't do any nonsense, my sweetie! Please call me as soon as possible and don't drive the teachers crazy like you always do. "Rachel couldn't help but chuckle. Fiona was absolutely right: when it came to whitening the teachers she was the master at it. Fiona breathed a kiss on her cheek and then let go of her with glassy eyes so that they could She was pushed around like a teddy bear and hugged by everyone, but the longest and saddest farewell was of course that of her beloved Jim, with whom she had been together for 4 years The hardness. Jim took her in his arms and kissed her tenderly. Then they looked deep into the eyes, Jim brushing a strand of hair from her face. "I love you Rey," she whispered to her and kissed her again. "I love you too," Rachel replied immediately, although she had difficulty not giving in to the tears. One last deep kiss, then the redhead turned away from her great love and v said goodbye to everyone once more. She left the park with a quick step, and as soon as she had turned her back on her friends, she lost a lot of tears.

Desperate Rachel stood in front of her open closet. She didn't know which items of clothing to pack, which is why she had been standing in front of the bulging closet for half an hour and her large suitcase lying on her bed was eagerly waiting for it to be filled. There was one thing Rachel couldn't deny: there was no shortage of choice. Typical woman - too picky for this world! Rachel had to admit that too: she would have loved to take her entire closet with her. So that she finally got ahead, she decided on a new strategy, so sweaters, jackets, T-shirts, tops, skirts, dresses, jeans and shorts found their way into the suitcase, in which socks and underwear were already comfortable. Finally two picture frames, one from her and Jim and one with the whole gang, the laptop and accessories thrown in and Voila: everything was packed. However, she now faced a new problem. How in three devil's names was she supposed to get the suitcase shut? The relationship between filling and shell was even less consistent than that between her and her family and that should mean something! The easiest way would of course have been to take a few things out again, but Rachel didn't want to see that. Her thick skull took over when it came to such things and her mind had to make room for better or for worse. True to the motto "The woman is herself!" and "What doesn't fit is made to fit!" she besieged her suitcase with everything possible that had to show significant weight. In plain language: all of her school books that she had collected over the years. The weight of the books broke the resistance of the suitcase. The more books there were on it, the closer Rachel got to her goal. Grinning, she piled more books on top of the pile. She never saw the point in such school books, because she had learned something from them. They had always been a burden to her, nothing more. Who would have thought they would be so useful when packing? Rachel dealt the coup de grace herself by throwing herself on top of it and using her full weight. As hoped, the resistance of the suitcase broke completely, so that Rachel easily got it closed. Well, please, did it! Woman just has to know how to help! Exhausted, she put the dusty books in their old place and heaved the heavy suitcase into a corner of her room. For the first time in a long time she checked her watch, it was exactly 11:33 PM. Yawning, she put on her pajamas and made herself comfortable in her bed. Tomorrow would be a long day, that was certain. What can she expect? As her speculations got more and more crazy, she slowly sailed to sleep, knowing full well that a new chapter in life began for her.Whether this would get off to a good start was entirely up to her ...
