Change ~ change

So, this is the first chapter of my Naruto fanfic. This fanfiction is written in the first person, and since this is my first first person fanfic, I ask for your consideration, but I am always open to criticism. ^^

Change ~ change

I walked thoughtfully through Konoha and looked around a bit. I was looking for someone. That someone was Sai. Naruto and I were very worried about our friend. He had withdrawn very much and rarely wanted to speak to us. He had changed a lot. So we set out to observe Sai. Now it was my turn because we always took turns. I went out to check on him this morning, but when I hid outside his apartment to see if he was there, I found that he had apparently been gone for a while. That worried me a lot. Sai never actually went out alone for a long time, but maybe he was on a mission, too? But then he would certainly have told Naruto and me. I very much hoped nothing had happened to him. So I was also with the Hokage, Tsunade, but they too said that Sai did not have an individual mission or something like that. I was in the library too, knowing he spent a lot of time reading, but nobody was there today either. So I kept looking. Where else could he be? First of all, I decided to walk through Konoha and look for him. Maybe he was walking around here somewhere. But I quickly realized that I was looking in vain. Should I ask Naruto for help? No, I didn't want him to worry any more. I also met Ino on the way. We argued again. That was nothing new, even if we somehow became friends. I also asked her about Sai. She replied that he had seen him earlier when he was walking towards the forest and she then asked if everything was okay.I didn't know what to say, just nodded and thanked me for the information. So I went to the forest. Indeed, on the road that led to the forest, there was indeed Sai. I hid myself first. Something was wrong, I knew that right away. He often looked around and also carried a backpack. I thought about it and looked at the black-haired one. I hesitated for a moment, but then went up to him and grabbed his shoulder. "Hello Sai!" I said kindly. Sai, however, winced violently and looked at me in amazement. Then he immediately put on his smile again and pretended not to be frightened. "Hello Sakura ..." he said. "How are you?" I asked with a smile and looked at him. I was amazed at the way he winced, but I knew that if I asked him, I wouldn't get an answer. "I'm ... I'm fine," Sai replied and turned around. "I have to go, see you later!", He just said and then went on towards the forest. I looked after him with concern. "Sai ..." I whispered worried. I didn't think twice and decided to follow him inconspicuously. Something was very wrong with Sai, I knew that. So I followed him cautiously until he stopped in a clearing in the forest and looked around. I noticed this and hid behind a tree and cleared my chakra. It looked like he was waiting for someone. For a long time nothing happened until a man appeared whom Sakura knew very well, even though she had only seen him once. // But ... What does he want from Sai ...? //, I thought to myself and I was horrified when Sai also bowed. I continued to watch everything and saw that another Anbu appeared. I wondered what was going on here.

So that was the first chapter and I hope you enjoyed it. I'm always open to ideas and suggestions.
