Off to Alabasta

After Zorro put me down on the couch, he started to train, while I watched him. I was very astonished when he lifted huge weights. Since he was off his T-shirt, I could see a scar running down his left shoulder across his chest. I wondered where he got it from, but didn't want to ask. "Folks, food is ready," came the message from the kitchen and Luffy ran inside. I also got up and noticed how dizzy I was again, but he wanted something to eat and I slowly walked towards the kitchen. "You should rest," I turned around and saw Zorro approaching me. "You don't care. Besides, I'm hungry," I clarified and wanted to go on, but he held me. "I'll bring out your food for you," he muttered. "Hey Marimo, leave the lady alone", Sanji stood in the doorway and glared at Zorro. I took the opportunity, freed myself from Zorro's grip and went into the kitchen. Zorro, who had noticed, looked after me, sighed and then followed me. When we were all eating Nami said to us quickly: "Take care of your food, otherwise Luffy ate." We nodded and took care. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Luffy reach for my plate and hit it. "Ouch!" Luffy shouted and held her hand. The rest of us laughed and then continued to eat.

After dinner everyone went outside again. Well, not every Zorro and Sanji stood in the kitchen washing the plates and the cutlery. I sat down on the deck chair again. After a while, Zorro and Sanji came out again and Zorro started training again. Usopp who was up in the crow's nest dropped the telescope and narrowly missed Nami. "Hey, be careful, you hollow pear," she moaned at him. "You guys don't believe what I just saw," he yelled. "There is Ace up there!" "WHAT ???", everyone suddenly shouted and ran to the railing. I looked after them confused and I saw someone jump on board. "Hello everyone", greeted us a young man with black hair and freckles. "Ace! How are you? What were you doing?", Luffy asked very excitedly. "Take it easy, Luffy. I'll tell you later," he laughed. 'Mhmm ... he doesn't even look that bad,' I thought. "Hey Luffy who is that?", Nina wanted to know. "Oh yeah, you don't know him yet. This is my brother Ace", Luffy grinned. "You have a brother?" Asked Juju. Luffy nodded. "Hi, I'm Nina. She's Juju and the one on the couch is Chris", Nina grinned at Ace. "Hey Nina ever heard the saying: She's standing in the pasture doing moo?", She looked at me confused and I grinned. "Well, it doesn't matter ..." I shrugged my shoulders indifferently and wanted to get up, but was stopped by Zorro. "You lie down and rest now, problem child," he growled and pushed me back down on the couch."Don't call me a problem child, understand ?! I have a name that you should remember," I moaned, but lay down. "Hey Marimo, please leave Chrischan clear?", Sanji snapped at him. Annoyed, he went to train again. "So tell Ace," whined Luffy. Ace laughed and said he was on his way to Alabasta. "Why is that?", Nami asked curiously. "There's a festival there in a month and I wanted to go there," Ace told her. Suddenly Luffy was very nervous. "A party? Nami we have to go there! Then we can visit Vivi again. Please Nami, let's go to Alabasta," said Luffy very excitedly. Annoyed Namie shook her head and mumbled something like 'Well then I'll recalculate the course' and disappeared. Luffy was now jumping around like a rubber ball on the deck and was very happy. "Juchu! Off to Alabasta!", He shouted the whole time, until he got a head nut from Nami. "Hey Ace you can come with us!" Suggested Zorro. Ace nodded and talked to Juju and Nina.

I glanced at Zorro and made sure that he was otherwise busy and carefully got up. I quickly went to Juju and Nina and sat down next to them. "Oh, you're new here too! Hello, I'm Ace and so you're Chris 'problem child'", Ace grinned cheekily at me and I grinned back and nodded. "But I'm not a problem child. I just haven't got my devil powers under control so well," I explained to him. "You have devil powers?" He asked me. "Yes, I was given the shadow fruit to eat in a marine camp and I am supposed to control the shadow now," I explained to him. "AAAAHHHH !!!! The shadow fruit ???? Oh no, I want to keep my shadow", Brook shouted suddenly. I looked at him confused and Luffy started laughing. "Oh man Brook, Chris will certainly use her devil power differently than Moria," said Sanji annoyed. "Here you have a few drinks, sweetheart," he whistled again and put a tray with three drinks in front of us. "Don't I get one?" Asked Ace. "Make one yourself," snapped Sanji and went back into the kitchen. "Here you can have mine", I gave my drink to Ace and he thanked him and finished it. I giggled and looked dreamily out to sea. "Hey is something?", Nina asked me. I shook my head and got up. "I'm going to the aquarium bar for a bit," I turned around and left. When I got to the aquarium bar, I sat down on the sofa and looked at the fish. I lost all sense of time in this room and the evening must have come already. There was a knock on the door and Chopper entered. "Are you coming up with Sanji has finished eating", he walked up to me and I got up. "Ok", I smiled at him and followed him.

Upstairs in the kitchen they were eagerly trying to keep Luffy from eating. After I sat down, Luffy started already. He shoveled everything in and we had to keep our food safe from him.After we had eaten the night shift was assigned. Juju and Nina had to take over the night shift. The rest of us went to bed. Well I wanted to go to bed rather said but didn't know where to go. "Nami where should we sleep?" I asked her and she showed me a room that Usopp and Franky had set up for lunch. It had three beds and a very large closet. When I opened the cupboard, our things had already been stowed in it. Signs showed us which compartment belonged to whom. The room was really nice and I put on my nightgown. It was a silk nightgown with thin straps. On closer inspection one even saw a wavy pattern on it. It was my favorite nightgown because it matched the Chinese style very much. It was also a very nice day and I fell asleep smiling.
