Chapter: Makoto Gets What He Deserves

It was late in the evening and the lights in Makoto's apartment were still on. He was sitting on the couch in the living room, his head full of thoughts. Only ten minutes earlier did he have female company. But not in the way you know it from Makoto. That female company was Sekai, and she wasn't in the mood for a quick act. She wanted to speak plainly to him and the child in her belly. The Itou, however, blocked this topic and a heated argument broke out. Now he was back home, alone. The girl he was 'with' at the moment, Kotonoha Katsura, hadn't called in all day. All sorts of thoughts were buzzing in his head.
After a few hours he was long asleep when suddenly his cell phone rang. At first the black-haired man didn't notice anything, but when the ringtone got louder and the vibration got more intense, he blinked his eyes and woke up. Confused, he looked around when he noticed cell phone music and vibrations in his pocket. Annoyed, he sighed and took out his cell phone. He got a text message. The first thing he noticed was the name of the sender. "Kotonoha!" He remarked and seemed relieved. Finally a sign of life from her. The news, however, seemed suspicious to him:
"I'm waiting for you on the roof"
He stared questioningly at his cell phone screen and read the message several times. What could it be that you had to talk about on the roof? Makoto, however, shot another thought in the head and made him grin broadly. "She doesn't want me ... up there ...?" He got up with anticipation and went into the hallway. He put on his shoes and jacket, put the cell phone back in his pocket and left his apartment. He closed the door behind him and made his way to the roof.
Once at the top he immediately went to the middle of the roof. It was a full moon and it was shining in all its glory. Except for a few cars that drove on the road, nothing could be heard far and wide. The Itou closed his eyes and enjoyed the beauty of the night for a brief moment. In the air was the nocturnal, sweetish scent that he inhaled with long gulps. Yes, everything seemed fine for Makoto for that moment. And now he would see his Kotonoha too, what else should he wish for.
"There you are, Makoto-kun.", He heard a voice suddenly say. He turned and saw a person walking towards him. It was a medium-length girl with long black hair and eyes that were just as black. She wore a white jacket and a pink scarf that almost completely covered her mouth. She only took small steps and fixed her friend with her empty eyes.
Makoto smiled and slowly walked towards her. "Kotonoha, where were you today? You weren't even at school today ...", he remarked in surprise and stood right in front of her.He grabbed her arms lightly and pulled her close to kiss her. But the katsura did not reply. He pulled away from her and looked at her questioningly. "What is it, Kotonoha?" He asked her. No Answer. “Hello?” Again no sound on your part. "Did I do or say something wrong?" He asked her then. Her eyes did not deviate from him.
Suddenly she showed a reaction. A smile formed on her lips. It wasn't a smile of love or bliss, however. It was an ironic smile. "Everyone told me. I saw it myself. But I ignored it. Every time I said to myself," Makoto-kun loves me. Just me. "I've told myself over and over again. But now I'm too tired for that," she said softly. Even if he lacked the intelligence to understand it (sorry, that had to be ABSOLUTELY!; P), one could hear sadness in Kotonoha's voice.
"Kotonoha?" He asked confused. "Did you do something wrong? I don't know, let's just ask the intimate body parts of Saionji-san, Katou-san or Kiyora-san.", She suggested sarcastically. Makoto didn't know what to say, but understood what she was referring to. "Kotonoha, II-" "Save it. I know everything you did to them. I started wondering if you love me as much as I love you, but maybe I'm just an ordinary doll for one night, am I not right, Makoto-kun? "
The black-haired man shook his head, startled. "It's not what you think! Really, I've changed! I love you, Kotonoha!", He defended himself desperately. His breathing got faster. The Katsura, however, remained silent and looked at him sadly. "I love you, Makoto-kun. From the bottom of my heart. But you are a bad person." She pulled something out of her jacket. Something wrapped in a cloth that had a handle. "Please! Kotonoha! I'm not the one you met at the beginning!"
The cloth peeled off the object and fell gently to the floor. Makoto understood now what was happening to him. It was a typical Japanese saw. "I can't trust you. You are bad. And I have to make sure that you don't hurt anyone anymore." That was the keyword. Makoto tried to grab her hands, but to no avail. She raised the arm that carried the saw and dealt the decisive blow. It hit the black-haired man, who had no way of reacting, on the side of the neck. She smiled again. His whole body was trembling.
With one quick movement she pulled the saw out again. It was almost completely stained with his blood. A giant fountain of his blood shot into the sky from his neck. He fell dead to the ground. Kotonoha looked at him coldly. She looked at his lifeless body for a while before proceeding to the next action. She knelt down next to him and began to clear his neck. When it was no longer covered by anything, she picked up the now blood-red saw again. She aimed it right in front of his neck to hit the right point and not miss.
Then she reached out slowly with both hands. Her hands trembled slightly. But she shook all thoughts out of her head and closed her eyes. She struck again and pierced his throat. But his head was not yet completely separated from the body. She swung back again, this time a little further. She struck again, this time a little harder. So she completely severed his head from his body. The blow caused his body to blow up slightly and roll to one side. She got up and stood in front of it. Was that what she wanted to achieve?
He was an asshole, a big one in fact. She was deeply offended. And pissed off. Now he got what he deserved. She clenched her fists. "Burn in hell.", She whispered to the head and kicked it lightly.
