Bella's point of view:

We were just getting out of the machine and I knew I was in dire need of my bed. Edward held my hand and I let it go because otherwise I would have collapsed long ago from tiredness and exhaustion. Under one roof of the airport building we saw Carlisle, Esme, Rosalie, Emmet and also Jasper. Alice ran straight up to Jasper, but they didn't hug each other or anything, just looked each other for a long time and smiled. How nice it must be to be so familiar. My gaze slid to Edward. That was no longer the case between us. Esme came running and immediately took Edward's arms. After she broke away from him, she took me in her arms too and whispered a "Thank you Bella" in my ear. I tried to smile. I had gladly done it, because while I might not have been able to forgive him, there was no way I could let him die. Carlisle also took Edward in his arms and then looked at me and thanked me. I just nodded because I was so tired that it was difficult for me to keep myself on my feet. The next thing I noticed was that I was laid on something soft, which was probably my bed. From then on I don't know anything anymore because I must have really dived into the land of dreams.

Edward's point of view

Charlie hadn't let me in. He was really mad at me which I could understand somehow. Bella suffered so much because of me, but that wasn't going to happen now. I would stay with her forever now and never leave her alone again. I looked up at her window and smiled. It was open as always. Open to me. I jumped on the wall of the house and climbed up to her window where I then quietly went into her room. And there she was, my beautiful Bella. She was sound asleep and I wondered what she was dreaming. I saw that she had tears in her eyes. Was she dreaming? But what was she dreaming? She didn't speak this time and I couldn't listen to her. Then I also had to realize that I was missing that somehow. Actually, I had missed everything. But above all to watch them sleep.
After it was morning and heard that Charlie was coming, I also decided to go and put on new clothes, because I was still only wearing a pair of pants and the cloak Demetri had given me. I looked at Bella one more time and had the feeling that when I came back she would still be asleep. After I jumped out of the window onto the lawn, I heard Charlie open her door but he didn't seem to stay long because he quickly closed the door again.

When I got home, Alice met me right away and before she could say anything I just said Bella and then went up to my room to quickly change into other clothes, because I wanted to be with her as soon as possible. When I went back down, Alice was still standing in the same place where she was and looking at me. I stopped. “Alice what is it?” She looked at me and just smiled. "Actually nothing. I just wanted to know how Bella is. She seemed very exhausted." I nodded and told her that she was fine and that I wanted to get back to her as soon as possible. She nodded and ran back to Bella's house.

Alice point of view:

I looked after Edward. I couldn't tell him.I also didn't know how to tell him that Bella's whole future seemed to be changing. She was just still dark and the worst thing was: I no longer saw her as a vampire, but actually I didn't see her anymore. Complete darkness. That was the only thing I saw when I thought of my best friend. I wondered what that meant and I decided I wanted to find out as soon as possible. I wanted to see Bella happy no matter how. She had become so important to me in that one year that I didn't want it if she was bad. I sighed and then went up to the room where Jasper would be waiting for me. I was very happy that we came back unscathed and I was happy to be by Jasper's side again.

Bella's point of view:
