New happiness ?
Yes, there came the most famous woman in the world, Natalie Knight, not many knew that she would rather live as a simple woman than with all the celebrity stress. "Cat ..." Amber looked at her as she stood in front of the table. "Mum what's driving you here?" she didn't look at Wyatt just looked into Amber's eyes. Yes, these girls had changed a lot in appearance, but even if it just looked like it wasn't. "Amber ...?" Natalie's look became sadder. Everyone looked back and forth between the two, nobody knew what was going on when the man behind her seemed to make a mistake. "Nat what about you." Amber got up, almost throwing Brain off his chair. "You didn't keep your promises, Cat!" she took a breath. "You don't care why this all happened, you just think about your own good." meanwhile the other's mouths stayed open, only Wyatt and Zack did not fare so the two suspected what Amber meant before she ran away.
"Brain you should go to her, leave this to us." Zack said with a mild smile. Brain nodded and tried to find his fishing rod, everyone who saw it said something different. He couldn't rely on anyone, only his feelings, but it could also take him to the wrong place.
Amber was standing at an old horse fence, the part that ran a few meters in front of her was still pretty good. A branch broke quietly in the not far distance, Amber turned around with a swing. "Fishing rod?" if she weren't already his girlfriend then she would surely have become one now. "Brain?" she stood looking at him. He was the person for whom you could give everything, but also for whom you wanted to lose everything.
Then a big white cat appeared out of nowhere, it stood between them and looked back and forth. "Snow." said Amber. Brain looked from the cat to Amber and stopped at Amber, who seemed to know the cat. "Do you know her?" he asked without taking his eyes off her for a moment. "She's my best friend you gotta know." her look became a little sad. "Come with you two." asked Snow and ran towards the old horse pasture. "Come on, I won't wait forever for you." she said in a threatening tone. Brain took Amber's hand and so they followed Snow, who turned around every now and then. "Brain?" said Snow. "Yes?" answered this. "What do you know about today?" he was confused about the question. "So you don't know." Snow laughed inwardly, but then went on. "Today is a special day, you have to know." she looked at Amber. "Sit down there and I'll tell you what you need to know." she stopped near a tree under which a blanket was spread. Brain looked from Snow to Amber and back. "Amber didn't tell you anything?" she put her face on his shoulder and did not look at the two of them. "What should she have told me?" he knew something was wrong. "Today is your birthday, my dear Brain." he looked at her in amazement.Amber's hand clawed into his sweater, he hugged her, a touch of sadness could be felt.
"Twelve years ago today a world broke ..." Amber winced. "... this world belonged to a little girl who has lost her smile and her happiness. It was her parents who were killed in the navy." Snow paused for a moment. "This incident shaped Amber forever. Yes, it is still a loss today that nobody denies, but now that you are with her ..." Moisture penetrated his sweater, he hugged her tighter. "... you can maybe give her the hold she needs." Snow stood by her nudging her nose and disappeared.
Silent tears fell for a long time until they dried up, he thought a lot. "Fishing rod?" he whispered softly. Her answer consisted only of a very low "Hm." he pulled her close, her face now on his neck. "I will always love you, Angel." she jerked her head up.
Had those words just passed his lips? Or was she just wrong, as is so often the case. Brain carefully pressed a kiss on her forehead, held her tightly in his arms and looked at her beautiful brown eyes. It had taken him over, changed his thinking, and most of all, it had changed his life. Not in the negative, no thanks to Amber he was in a good mood every day. "Brain?" her voice sounded broken. "Yes my sweet Angel?" their eyes met. His heart almost jumped out of him, at least that's what it felt like, in one jump she was sitting on his outstretched legs. Her forehead touched his, his hands rested on her hips, he didn't want to speak but did so anyway. "I love you, Amber." it came out of him as a whisper.
In his eyes I saw a glow that didn't seem to go out, I put my face on his. Touched his mouth with mine, put his arms together behind his neck, pressed his whole body against him. We sat there for a while, just looking at each other, until my quiet whisper broke this silence. "I am sorry." I brought out. "It's all right." he put a blanket over us. Slowly the songs got heavy, I fell asleep snuggled up against him.
I gently brushed a strand of hair from her sleeping face, her beauty was unmistakable. He wanted to hold her like that for the rest of his life, but it would happen when that year was over. Would there still be this little angel, or would he be alone again?
Brain woke up early in the morning he had held his fishing rod all night. But what time it was, they had classes and if they weren't fast enough they would miss that day. Suddenly he didn't care how it went on with him, as long as he was allowed to have Amber with him. That night he understood what Snow meant when she said he didn't know her, but now he did.Happy was no expression for what was now in him, pure love spread in him and stayed. A tender touch brought him out of his thoughts, his angel woke up. "Good morning, Angel." he whispered softly. "Good morning, honey." she whispered tiredly.
Nothing could stop him from feeling close to her, nothing should stand between her anymore. "We should tell everyone." Amber whispered, I just nodded.
The path to a common future should now open before them, this path brought them straight into the arms of Luna Kisami. Luna didn't smile in her eyes, only confusion was written, her granddaughter had her smile back. Now Luna could finally breathe again, the girl who had withdrawn was no longer there, at least at the moment she was not there. For the first time she was glad that the snow over her head had decided the whole thing. "According to your eyes you could use something to eat!" she said with an expert eye. Both sat down at a table, spoke softly and looked up from time to time.
10 minutes later there was toast and everything you could need on the table. "Long before the boys show up here." she smiled and walked a little further. Her hand pulled a picture to her chest, a low whisper. "You should see them, the 3 have grown up!" she put the picture back and disappeared back into the kitchen.
"Morning Nonna." it came from above. Zack came into the room looking sleepy, followed by a pretty girl. "Has Ab shown up yet?" he asked as he looked into the kitchen. "You turn around and when you see her tell her that she has trouble on her neck." she had to resist laughing. "Don't worry too much." said the young lady who leaned against him and looked in the other direction. "She's my sister, Ruby." he turned his head to her. Ruby started moving and stopped at Amber and Brain's table, a smile spreading across her face. "Don't you think she's fine?" she asked and stepped aside. Amber slept leaning on Brain's shoulder, he was glad that she was asleep, but also that she was back.
"I'm glad that ..." he suppressed the tears that came to his eyes. Slowly she opened her eyes and looked around, a little confused. "What's the matter?" she mumbled. "Did you sleep well, Angel?" she nodded and snuggled into his arm.
Ruby was someone you had to like even if you only knew her briefly, even that fact didn't matter to you.
