1st chapter
Spring. Chirping birds, warming rays of the sun and damp fresh grass. It was spring. Chihiro looked at the cherry tree that was in full bloom. There were few moments like this when she could just lie on the grass and relax. Her gaze kept falling on the cherry trees to her left. Sometimes Chihiro wished she had another name, such as Sakura or Momoko. Yes, she liked these names. But since the adventure into the magic land with Haku, Jubaba and their parents, she learned to appreciate her unusual name.
Because not every girl was called that and he was recognizable.
Her grandfather gave her this name, he loved her very much. But then he inexplicably died of a heart defect that could no longer be corrected. He was her suggestion box, she confided in him about all of her problems - even after she moved away. She also told him everything about her stay in the magic land. About Kamaji, Lin and all their other friends there, about how much she missed them, about the fact that she had decided to go to the tunnel every month, which turned out to be the gateway to the magic land. And now he was gone - dead.
But she was not alone, because she had many friends who gave her comfort, parents who took her in their arms. She coped well with his death. But in moments like these, when she pursued her dreams and immersed herself in her thoughts, she wished that he was back, that she could visit her friends in the magic land, that she could forget her past and her identity there.
Yes, forgot. That would be good.
Much time has passed since the adventure in the magic land - six years. Everyone changes in their life, so does Chihiro.
She has grown into a pretty young lady who, like every girl her age, has visually changed in recent years. Now she wore her hair waist-length, straight, layered and with lighter tips in a lighter shade. She wore her bangs frayed and with a right parting. Even the color of her eyes had changed a little because they were getting a little lighter. She hardly needs any makeup as she has naturally rosy cheeks and a fair complexion. Your figure is petite and slim. Fortunately, she inherited her father's long legs and thanks to her mother, she has a good metabolism, which means that she could eat whatever she wanted without gaining weight.
She seldom followed the trends because she never really liked them. So she couldn't make friends with these "fur winter boots" either.
For a short time she closed her eyes. Actually she wanted to go to Yusuke today, but she decided spontaneously and went to her favorite place on the large meadow between the many cherry trees. A sweet smell from the blossoms of the trees rose to her nose.She turned her head in the direction of the scent and when she opened her eyes again she saw two legs. She recognized these shoes because she had chosen them herself for this person when they were shopping together. It was Yusuke, who was standing right next to her in the sun.
He said slightly sarcastically: "I didn't even know that I lived here. Actually, I even thought that I lived four doors away from you." Without responding to his remark, Chihiro exclaimed enthusiastically: "Hey !!! We are In the partner look! "She sat up and slid her hands over her T-shirt to draw attention to this masterpiece, as Chihiro used to call it. And indeed. Chihiro was wearing a yellow t-shirt with a cherry print and Yusuke was wearing a white t-shirt with a print of a cocktail with a cherry inside.
Yusuke and Saki were best friends here in Ituka from Chihiro. She had secretly fallen in love with Yusuke. When he met a girl named Tamao and even got together with her, a world collapsed for her. She knew that she had to confess her feelings to him, which she did a few days later. Unfortunately, Yusuke decided not for Chihiro but for Tamao, since then Chihiro has tried nothing more than to see him as her best friend, which she has held out for six months now. Although she sometimes made a few jokes about the fact that she still idolizes him, everyone involved knows that this is not the truth.
Yusuke involuntarily rolled his eyes and sat down next to Chihiro.
“There's a reason I wanted to talk to you,” he began, “something happened to me.” He put on a smile that should hide his true feelings.
"Tamao ... Tamao broke up with me." His smile faded, his lips started to tremble and his eyes glazed over. "She said that she no longer feels that certain something for me. Actually since after our first time ..."
He couldn't hold back his tears now. He leaned on Chihiros shoulder, which now began to stroke his back. She turned to him minutes later and hugged him, which he accepted in silence. He knew that Chihiro didn't like to be hugged or to hug someone in general.
He was very grateful to her for that.
It seemed like an eternity passed. After all, Chihiro was the first to say: "Don't take it so badly. Look at it this way: She doesn't even know what you're missing with you! Besides, you're free again now ... free as a bird, no matter how stormy." it is, always spreading its wings and preparing to fly. "With that, she gently wiped his tears away and smiled weakly. “Have you already told Saki?” Shaking his head, he tried to make it clear that he didn't want to talk now."Let's stay here. Chihiro lay down again. The sun was shining on her face, but she didn't mind. She really enjoyed it. He had said that he wanted to be alone with her. Her heart jumped for joy, because there was still a little hope. And so they just lay side by side in silence.
They only left in the evening. First they went to Yusuke, because he had to ask if he could stay with Chihiro, then it was time to go to Saki.
When she got there, everything was told first. But this time Yusuke was stronger than in the afternoon.
Suddenly they were disturbed in the middle of their conversation. Somebody rang the doorbell. "That must be my cousin Hikkai.", Saki said and jumped up to open the door for him. It didn't take long until this hikkai was sitting in their room.
He was tall and in a very good mood, which didn't fit the current atmosphere of the three at all. For Chihiro it was like love at first sight when she saw his t-shirt: He had a bright red t-shirt with lots of black stars on it. It said "ROCK AROUND THE WORLD" in gray letters.
"And? Who are you like that?"
"Well, you already know who I am. The other girl's name is Chihiro and this young man's name is Yusuke. These are my best friends. And you already know his name."
"Oh ... partner look?" Hikkai stated questioningly, unable to suppress a grin. "Are you together?"
Chihiro was about to answer, but Yusuke got ahead of her. And his answer surprised everyone, except Hikkai: "Yes. For a year. Hasn't it, honey?"
His wink did not go unnoticed by Chihiro. “Jub. Our anniversary will be in three weeks.” Before Yusuke got together with Tamao, he and Chihiro used to screw people this way. It even went as far as a deep kiss - which only happened once because it was a real hardship. So it's no wonder she fell in love with him.
So now too. Yusuke, who was sitting on the floor the whole time, got up, sat down next to Chihiro on the bed and leaned over to her. They kissed.
Saki couldn't help but laugh. "What is it?", Chihiro asked jokingly and only half released from Yusuke's lips. "Haha ... people stop that! Hikkai will stay here with us. Means that you will eventually be blown."
"What? How now?" Asked Hikkai, completely perplexed.
"Look out.", Yusuke suddenly said, "We're not together. We just wanted to kid you." "But you snogged …… ..how …… when ………… .why ???", he stammered in complete confusion.
"Just like that.", Chihiro said with an innocent smile as cheeky as she could.
"So you are not together at all ???"
"No Hikkai."
“But that came across as real.” There was general laughter.Even Hikkai, who had a hard time understanding how best friends could "lick" each other, couldn't hold back his laughter anymore.
"Aha. Do you do that often?"
"No, Hikkai. Rarely, but then without a kiss, just holding hands and such."
"You're freaks!"
"Thank you! But so are you."
They didn't stay long. At ten, Chihiro and Yusuke went to Chihiro's home. Her parents were away. It was the second week they were gone. It was vacation. Yusuke and Chihiro made themselves comfortable in their room, snuggled together and talked about Hikkai. About what a great t-shirt he was wearing, how funny it was when they pissed him off, and how Tamao is stupid.
"But I don't want to be single."
"Come to terms with it!"
" But I do not want that!"
"Bad luck then."

"Chihiro?"
"What is?"
"Are you already sleeping?"
"NO."
"Can I ask you something?"
"Just do it!"
"Can you still imagine ... ..so ... .."
"Do you think I can imagine being with you?"
"…..Yes…………."
"... I'm thinking about it." Those were the last words that Yusuke should hear from her that day, because she fell asleep. Before he fell asleep himself, he gave her a very gentle kiss goodnight.
