Chapter: The letter

Yuki read the letter aside for now, because her mother was more important to her now. "Mom? Is something wrong with you?" Nami shook his head. "I'm fine, Yuki." she smiled at them. Nami left the kitchen with the letter, because Yuki didn't need to get hold of this letter.

While eating, Yuki told her mother that Uncle John was back in town. "So my sister is back in town." Nami smiled. "Mom?" Yuki cocked her head. "Yes, Yuki?" she shook her head. "It's okay, mom." she answered. "How was your day?" Yuki asked afterwards. "He was very informative, Sparrow." she said and looked out the window.

Her mother was different than usual, but she didn't want to ask her what was wrong with her. Every time she did it until now, the same answer had come up. "It's nothing, Yukiko." whenever she refused to answer, she would call you by her full name. "Mam? Do we want to visit the others together someday?" Yuki asked timidly.

Nami looked out the window, turned her face to her daughter. "If that's what you want." she smiled cautiously. "I'll be in my room if you're looking for me, Mam!" said Yuki and left her mother alone. Nami cleared away the dishes, sat down in the living room after she had picked up the letter again.

Dear Ms. Akihito,

we share this with you and your family. That her husband Yo Akihito is still alive but can't remember anything. It's been a while since Mister Kuragi asked us to find her husband. But we have now managed to find him.
It will be a shock to her to find out that he can't remember anything. Here in the hospital everything that is necessary is done for him until a full recovery is achieved.

In this way I would like to tell you that you don't have to give up your husband. With all means that are available to us and the people here, he will be helped to get his memories back.

Sincerely
Ren Miyung

Over and over again she had to read these lines, her prayers were answered. For the first time in a long time, she felt almost happy again. She knew that he had no memories of her or anything else, but that would change, she hoped it would.

With Yuki in tow, she was on the way to see her younger sister Sonja. It's strange that she's coming back to Japan right now, but that wasn't part of the right thought process. It was almost 4 years since she had seen her little sister. The relationship between them had not been the best since their parents were no longer alive.

When they arrived at their sister's, they chatted animatedly with their brother-in-law, he fit into this crazy family. And for the first time in a while, she laughed at jokes that few would understand. Her thoughts were not on the letter or on the past.
