~ At Hikari ~

‘‘ Vulona-san? ‘‘, I turned to the fox lady next to me. ‘‘ Yes, little sister? What's the matter? You can tell me everything. ‘‘

I sat down at one of the big trees and Vulona sat down next to me. When I saw the stars peeking out from between the treetops, I began to share my concerns and fears with her:
‘‘ You know, I'm afraid of Leader-sama's punishment. What is he gonna do? I don't want him to do anything to Kakashi or even wipe out the village because I told the Hokage that I am a member of them. What do you think? Gomen, that I always ask you for advice ... ‘‘
But Vulona replied: ‘‘ Pain, is actually not a bad person. You know he wants peace, but he's getting it wrong. Also, you know as well as I do that he is smart enough to know how much he would hurt you if he did what you feared.
Oh yeah and Hikari? You can ask me anything you want, anytime. Because that's what a big sister is for, isn't it? ‘‘
I looked again at the starry sky and thanked Vulona. I hadn't noticed how quickly that day had passed. I lifted the little fox in my arms and left the training ground.

~ In the Hokage's office ~
