After a long thoughtless walk she noticed that it was already morning. She looked around slowly and didn't even know where she was until she discovered a village that she knew something but had never been there. With small, cautious steps she went towards the village. When she noticed that there were no guards there to look for her, she walked slowly inside. All the people looked up and watched her every step she took because no one knew her. Sayuri felt a little uncomfortable, but she didn't let it show. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a young Elven man bumped into her and before she knew it he took her hostage because he was on the run. A couple of soldiers were right behind him, and it didn't take long until they had reached Sayuri and the young man. "Let go of me right now!" She yelled out loud. She tugged and tried to free herself from the young man's grip, but couldn't. "Now stop fidgeting!", The young man hissed. "Let go of the girl right now!" Came from one of the soldiers who stepped a little closer. Sayuri tried to free himself further until the young man tossed her over his shoulder and ran with her into the woods. "Let me down now or you will pay dearly!" She uttered loudly, but he didn't care. When he was sure that he had hung the guards off, he let them down. Sayuri raised her hand and wanted to slap him, but before she could, he took her hand. “Not so fast young lady.” He looked around again to be sure. She looked at him now and many questions went through her head. "Who are you and why have you dragged me here?" She asked him. He looked at her again and sighed. "Well, I brought you here because I'm a thief and I was on the run, I needed a hostage and you came in handy," he said and grinned at her a little. Sayuri looked at him, slightly irritated. "And my name is Ruki. And how can I call the young lady?" He looked at her with questions and curiosity. "My name is Sayuri and finally stop saying young lady! It's getting annoying!" Ruki grinned all the more because of her restrained behavior. "I'm sorry Sayuri that I kidnapped you, I hope you are not too angry with me.", He said happily and examined her more closely. He liked what he saw and yet he knew something was wrong with her. "You're not a normal citizen, am I right?" He asked her and sat down on a stone. Sayuri didn't know if it was good to tell him the truth and yet she thought that he might get a little scared if he knew who she was. "I am Princess of Aridon and I order you to bring me home now!", She ordered him. Ruki looked at her for a moment and started laughing out loud. "That's not funny, that's really serious!""But that's it." After a while he calmed down again. He got up slowly and stood in front of her. "Forget it, I'm not bringing you back, you have to go alone." He started to leave. "Yes you will," she said stubbornly and stood in front of him. Ruki sighed in annoyance and looked at her. "No, I will definitely not do that!" He said stubbornly and walked past her. Sayuri grabbed his wrist. Now he stopped and looked at her behind. Before she knew it, he hugged her to a tree. "Now listen to me too little, I won't let anyone tell me what to do and certainly not from a brat like you did we get along?" he snapped at her and Sayuri was very frightened. She looked at him slightly frightened and was silent for the time being. He let go of her slowly and sighed. "I'm sorry Sayuri, but you have to find your way back.", He said to her and slowly started walking again. She stood there and couldn't find any words for a few seconds. "But ... you can't just leave me alone ...", she sobbed softly and slid to the floor. Ruki stopped again and sighed again. He turned to her again and looked at her again. He walked up to her and held out his hand. "Well then come with me, I'll bring you back to Aridon.", He gave in and waited for her to take his hand. Sayuri looked up and then took his hand. She was relieved that he wanted to bring her home now. Both then slowly started going deeper and deeper into the forest. Ruki looked around and then his gaze met Sayuri. Now he looked at her a little again. He just couldn't lie to himself that he actually found her gorgeous and beautiful. Sayuri of course noticed that he was looking at her the whole time. "Why are you looking at me like that?" She asked curiously and then looked at him a little. She had never noticed before that he didn't look that bad after all. The long brown hair, the brown eyes when they lit up when the sun shone on him. "Because ... because ... because I've never seen such a beautiful princess.", He uttered quietly and pulled Sayuri out of her thoughts. Only now did she understand what he had said and blushed. Both went on until it was getting dark. "I'll just go looking for firewood. You stay here and wait for me, okay?" He said quietly to her and then started walking. Sayuri just nodded slightly and sat down on a stone and waited for him. A few minutes passed before he came to her again. She looked up and looked at him, at the exact same time he looked at her too. Their eyes met so with, but he turned it away again. Sayuri looked at him for a while until she also looked away. "Tell me what is it like ... being such a thief?" She mumbled softly. Ruki now looked at her briefly.He sighed softly and prepared the fire. "Well ... it has its advantages and disadvantages ..." he started slowly and started the fire. "I would like to know you." At that she threw a curious look. Now he considered briefly whether he should tell her, while he sat down on the floor and looked into the fire. "Well ... the advantages are that nobody can order you around and you can do what you want ... the disadvantages are ... you are alone and you try to trust whom, but it doesn't work ... you have to live in constant fear that you will be caught. ", he said quietly to her and then slowly looked at her. She listened to him in silence until he was finished. A lot of things were going through her head now. "Tell me, don't you want to stay in my city as a normal person?", She asked him quietly and looked at him carefully and hoped that he would accept the offer. Ruki looked at her and considered. "Would that be so good ... I mean who knows if you know me there," he mumbled softly and looked around. "I don't think so .. the city is big .. you won't know you. Start all over again there. If you want you can work for me too. Are you good at teaching anything?"
He looked up at her in amazement. What did she think of asking a stranger something like that, whom she didn't even know? For a moment he really thought about it. "Well ... something would be there!", Now he started to grin. She didn't understand what he meant and tilted her head a little to one side. Ruki noticed that she didn't understand and gave her to understand that she should come to him. Of course she did that until she stood in front of him. "W..What are ... you ... doing ... now?" she stammered to him. Smiling and amusing, he leaned over to her ear. "I just want to show you what lessons I have to offer!". Slowly he kissed her cheek up to her mouth where her lips now met. A gentle yet decisive kiss developed from it. As if out of nowhere, these images came back to Sayuri, her father with this official market. Over there, frightened, she pulled her knee up and hit him right between the legs, where a loud painful scream came out of him. She quickly understood what was happening and leaned over to him. "Oh god, it ... I'm sorry ... I didn't mean to ..". Panic broke out in her. She didn't know how to help him. Ruki rolled over on the floor.How could she kick him in there? What did he do to just deserve it? He asked himself that a few times, until he felt that the pain was slowly subsiding. He sighed softly in relief when it was over. Carefully he sat up and looked at Sayuri. She sat there and looked at him with tears in her eyes. He gently touched her cheek when he saw it and caressed it. "It's okay ... nothing happened ..". But she shook her head. "But I hurt you and I didn't want that ..." she sobbed quietly and started to cry. Amazed that she was doing that now, he didn't know what to do now. Thoughtful, however, he took her in his arms and hugged her. "May I ask why you did that?" She looked at him and tried to calm down. "M..My father..had cheated on my mother ... I just think ... that I was scared ... when you told me ...". Now she was silent and peered to the side. "When I your what?" He tried to lure her out. Sayuri sighed softly. "Stole my first kiss ...". He sat there frozen and looked at her with wide eyes. "D..You are not serious?". Now he stuttered something. Nodding uncertainly, she looked at him innocently, whereupon he now blushed slightly. He had really never seen this sight of her, something so beautiful, although he had already desired many women. Slowly he lowered his arms. "We should get some sleep now, the day was long ..." he mumbled to her softly and lay down. Sighing softly, she sat down without saying a single word. Now it was very quiet around both of them. They could only hear the loud ones from the crickets until they both fell asleep. They both slept through the morning. Of course, Ruki was the first to wake up and looked directly at Sayuri, who was not far from him.
