Chapter 2: Warmth.
Who was this girl? How did she disappear so easily? Many questions swirled through Ace's mind as he went to the beach after a sleepless night looking for a clue about the girl's whereabouts. His heart was pounding. When he passed a couple of girls who must be about his age, and they started giggling and pointing at him, he turned to them resolutely and asked, "Hello you pretty ones! He was back at the tree where he had been sitting when he met Shinoah. He felt kind of broken, torn. Just because of Shionah. He didn't even know who she was, and yet he longed for her. The sun disappeared into the sea, turning the sky pink, and suddenly his stomach spoke. “Are you hungry?” Ace was startled. The voice he heard behind him was familiar. “Here, take it.” Shinoah crouched down next to Ace and offered him an apple. "I know it's not that much, but it's enough for the little dog." She smiled at him. "Thanks." Ace replied, somewhat puzzled, at the fact that the girl he had been looking for all day was now crouching next to him and offering him an apple. He took a bite into your apple and his stomach rumbled. "My stomach thanks you." he grinned at Ahinoah. Then she leaned against the palm tree and stared at the sea with Ace, who was enjoying his apple. At some point, the sun had long since set and it was dark, Shinoah began to tremble. "Are you cold?" Ace asked, looking at her slightly worried."Yes a little." she answered. “Wait, I can warm you up a bit.” Ace smiled and finally put both arms around Shinoah, who immediately warmed up again. "What .. how do you do that?" she whispered, slightly confused. "I once ate from a devil fruit. Since then I can completely turn into fire." he whispered back. "Wow .." she replied. And that ended their conversation.
