Für immer allein, mit dir!

Name meaning ?!

Forever alone with you
Hello! I will briefly introduce myself. I'm Leila, my name means dark or night, so it suits me well. Because I have pitch black hair and blood red eyes. Before, when I was human, my eyes were green. I'm pretty thin, but not petite, and I have a rather round face. I'm not really tall, only 1. 59 meters. I don't know how old I am now, I would estimate myself to be 16 or 17 now. I come from a big city. The last thing I remember is that I was out with my parents. It was a fresh summer day and we were just getting out of our block. It was a very large building and we owned 3 floors. From this I would conclude that my parents had a lot of money back then. But I don't know, that's just a guess. Now I have nothing more. I can't remember my parents' faces or their names. Not even their voices or anything else. I only remember that we were just on the way to my best friend's birthday, who turned 13 that day. I was exactly 12 years, 6 months and 9 days old at the time. Some people find it strange when I know my age exactly, but I've always known it until now because I always looked forward to my birthday so much. I can still remember the face of my friend very clearly. He looked very much like me back then. He too had beautiful black, short hair that hung a little over his face. His eyes were green too, but much lighter than mine. He had a perfectly normal figure. Not thin, not fat, not tall, and not even small. His look always seemed very dreamy when he looked at me. But I don't remember his name either. As we were walking down the street in front of our block, my friend and his parents met us. But something was different. He didn't even look at me, just the floor. And tears dripped down the tip of his nose in seconds. His parents just said it was time. I didn't know what to do with it. I couldn't hear my parents' words anymore. Everything was black before my eyes. I woke up in a dark room, all alone. I looked for an exit on the cold, stony wall. Finally I found a door handle. When I was outside, I was standing on the street where I used to live. I stared at the huge block in front of me where I used to live. When I looked around I saw that all the buildings in this city were so tall. There were even bigger ones.
Only now did I notice that I was standing in the middle of the street. I quickly jumped onto the sidewalk, 2 meters in front of me. Lucky that I was not run over! Funny, I came straight out of a house! How can a house stand on the street? But when I turned around there were only more streets in front of me.No house.
That's all I remember And now I'm sitting here, between two houses, trying not to get soaked from the heavy rain. After about 75 minutes and 39 seconds it stopped raining. I slowly walked out of the alley. As I stood a step in front of the house, suddenly a man came running up from the left, who did not look straight ahead and did not see me. I was frightened and couldn't avoid it. I screwed up my eyes and hope that I wouldn't fall if he bumped into me. After 10 seconds I opened my eyes again. Funny thing had not happened. Had the man seen me after all and avoided me? No! I couldn't imagine that, he was only a few centimeters away from me. I positioned myself purposefully in front of a woman who came along. She came closer and closer ... and closer ... and closer ... I could hardly believe what had just happened! Nothing happened! The woman had run right through me. I couldn't believe what had happened! Was I dead? I started screaming and just ran! I ran through the crowds. They couldn't hear, see, or touch me. After running like that, I was at the end of my tether and sat down. What should I do now? ... Suddenly I heard a strangely familiar voice behind me: "Hey! Stop crying and get up, otherwise you will get sick!" I turned around, startled. Were there maybe people who could see me? It was a boy with jet black hair and blood red eyes. He had to be about my age. I leaned forward and looked at him. I reached out my hand to his leg. I could touch him! Then I got up and he looked at me strangely: "Why did you touch my leg?" "I wanted to check whether I can touch you." I replied. "Oh ... then you probably have the same problem as me. I was amazed that you can hear me.", He says with a sad look. "What year is it now?" I asked, looking around. "I don't know. I just woke up today and it feels like I've been gone quite a long time," he said while looking at me. "Yes, me too. What's your name actually?" I asked curiously. "My name is Yami. That means darkness." I was a little puzzled. Whether our names are related to it? But I quickly shook off this stupid idea. "It's a coincidence! My name is Leila, it has a similar meaning." He took my hand and said: "Come with me! I don't want to stand around here any longer and watch people walk through us." was already out of breath, but still I ran after him. The ground was still wet from the rain and splashed with every step. Somehow, Yami still looked very familiar to me. The way he moved, the way he talked, and his name too.Actually, I'm not the kind of person who chases after someone I don't know, but I just didn't want to be alone. After walking for a quarter of an hour we came to a huge, old house. It looked like a jungle. Huge hedges climbed the front of the house, right up to the roof. We went through the large garden gate in the front yard. Before we came to a small, narrow path that finally led us to the house, we had to go through a few bushes. I wanted to open the door of the house, but I couldn't! "Wait, I'll do that.", Yami said and gently pushed me back with his hand. He pushed against it with all his might and the door opened a crack. "Well, I can't go on opening this stupid thing either! It's already totally rusted. Can you fit in there?" He said. He shouldn't have asked: "Is that supposed to mean that I'm fat? Of course I can fit through there! You should rather think about whether you can fit through there yourself!" He looked at me a little horrified at my reaction, then started he is grinning at. Because I had gone ahead and tried to squeeze my way through the gap. "Well, it doesn't quite fit ?!" he still grinned. I held my breath and pulled my stomach in. I finally got through. Now I stood behind the door and gasped: "You see! Go! Do it better if you can!" He walked towards the door, suddenly he hit it with a fist and the door flew into the wall next to me. "Oh, I guess I'll pass!" He smiled. I still stared horrified at the door: "But ... But you didn't get it open earlier!" "Yes, just like you! Instead of using your powers, you tried to open them like a normal person." Now I understood no longer what he was talking about: "What powers?" He looked at me puzzled and sat down on the cold concrete floor: "Just say you haven't noticed that we are stronger than a normal person ..." I looked at my hands: "No, I didn't know that ..." He got up again and slowly walked towards me. I shiver. With horror, because of the cold, and because I was afraid. Yami took my hands and put them on his shoulders. Then he cupped my hip and whispered, "Don't worry! Together we can find a way to get back to normal, but we have to be strong until then, okay ?!" I put my head on his chest and although I didn't want to cry, I could I can't resist it. Why? Why is it all happening? And above all, why is this Yami so familiar to me?
