Chapter 2 / One Shot / Bloody Solitude

Since some of them complained about a sequel, I made up my mind to write a second chapter ... = I However, there will be no sequel of this type ... at least that's how I think
------------
Fast steps, racing breath, rattling heartbeat, pain everywhere, they seemed to paralyze the body and render it unusable.
Hinata already felt all too familiar with this situation and just wanted to get away from it. But it didn't work. The Akatzukis were too strong too clever and they themselves were just weak and shy. Tears ran down her pale face, her lips were dry and her eyes were burning for days they had been playing this game, the game of cat and mouse. And Hinata was the mouse. Her chakra was already used up all that she still had was the body's own power, which was slowly running out.

The one who played the cat grinned. It was good for him that she ran and showed her fear, not much longer and she would faint. He had let her go on purpose, he wanted to torment her so that he could make a victim out of her that much easier. The Kyubi was already on its way. The cat knew what had happened a few weeks ago and took advantage of it, the Kyubi carrier was still weakened, and the young Hyuuga in front of him just tripped and fell.

Hinata felt her legs fail, she tripped over a root and flew into the mud, as it was then raining mercilessly and there was almost no sound to be heard. She was breathing heavily and felt the blackness surrounding her. She made one more unsuccessful attempt to get up, but it didn't help, her body was drained from days of hunting. "Naruto." it penetrated her lips, weak and desperate, before the impotence pulled her into her arms.
The black cat came to stand lightly next to Hinata. "How beautiful she is when she sleeps." he whispered and took her in his arms.
It wouldn't take too long until the Kyubi found her and the cat wanted to wait that long. Because all she wanted was to see the one who was desperately trying to get his lost brother back.

He rushed forward, his team long behind him, the Kyubi in him wanted out, but Naruto wouldn't allow him, "Not yet." he kept growling. "Wait until I find this pig." he reminded the monster within himself and continued to fling from tree to tree from branch to branch.
The heavy rain obscured his view and only made him angrier. If he did something to Hinata, he would kill him without batting an eyelid.
But what was that? Chakra not just any HIS chakra. He would love to follow the direction from which he sensed this chakra, but he wanted to and couldn't, his heart would break if he didn't help Hinata. So he kept walking in the hope that the chakra would follow him.And actually, only weakly but definitely there.
Naruto came into a clearing and there he stood the cat that was chasing his mouse: "ITACHIIII!"
The blonde screamed angrily and raced towards him.
A merciless fight broke out at any time ready to kill the other.

Naruto felt HIS chakra again. He paused, his gaze slid to the edge of the clearing. And there he stood really and in person. Despite the heavy rain, he noticed its smell.
Itachi also paused in his attack, dropped his defense and looked at the onlookers.
"Naruto." said this calmly in a completely emotionless voice. "Itachi." he also now called the renegade's name. Slowly he came up to her, cast a spell over those who were once fighting.
The black, wet hair was blowing in the constant ice-cold wind, the red eyes looked at her almost affectionately, please make up for one and then strike sneakily?
Naruto backed away, one, two, three steps. Suddenly he didn't want to be close to him anymore, didn't want to bring him back. He only saw in him the renegade ninja that he was. Cold cruel without any feelings.
"Sasuke." whispered the Konohanin softly sank to his knees in the mud and pulled the young Hyuuga to him. He held her tight in his strong arms, not ready to give her back, but ready to die with her for it.
Because he didn't want to endure any more suffering, he didn't want to cover up this sadness with a smile, he felt old and weakly drained by sadness and hatred, hurt by people who gave him meaning. Leaving people who were important to him.
"Naruto." Sasuke whispered again. Dedicated only to him, just looked at him and completely blocked Itachi out.
But this one couldn't take his gaze from his brother, those eyes that only looked at him briefly so cold and full of arrogance, was he to blame for the fact that he is like this now?
Had he been so eaten away by loneliness?

Naruto bowed his head, put his forehead on Hinatas and just didn't want to see Sasuke anymore. Suddenly he didn't care about Sasuke, he just wanted to die here and now in Hinata's arms. Just don't linger in this world anymore.
He felt something, arms, Sasuke's arms, Sasuke hugging him, amicably. Tears ran down Naruto's damp face. He shook Sasuke off. "Go, leave us alone, I never want to see you again, traitor." he hissed, pulling the lifeless body in his arms closer to him.
"If you want me to go ... kill me Naruto ..."
He winced. Should he kill him ?. Him Sasuke Uchiha? Impossible. Not after everything he'd done for him.
"I worked my ass off for you so thank me ... you're not worth my killing you." he whispered.
And at the very edge he heard a startled gasp. He looked up and saw the girl who told him in the hospital that Hinata was still alive.Sakura, soaked by the rain, tears in her eyes and her hand over her mouth at the picture that her bot was showing.
"Kill ... me ... Naruto." Sasuke whispered again, almost pleading.
But he just drew a few kunais and threw them at him. "Get out of here, don't you dare put my name in your mouth again."
He screamed, despair and sadness in his voice. He didn't want to be here, he didn't want anything here. He didn't want Sakura to see this. He didn't want Hinata to die in his arms and he just didn't want Sasuke to be here in front of him any longer.
"Get out of here." he shouted again. Stared at him with tears in his eyes.

Itachi dared not move. He couldn't believe what was happening in front of his eyes, that his brother wanted to die at the hand of the Kyubis, and that the Kyubis hated him so much.
After all he had heard how hard the blonde had tried to bring his brother back, did he just want him to disappear?

“Didn't you hear?” Sakura stood next to Sasuke, looking down at the floor. "You should get out of here."
Her voice made even the hardened clan killer shudder. So cold so full of disgust and full of bitterness.
Itachi didn't think there was anything left to do here, he formed finger signs and dissolved into his ravens, but he would come back to get what he wanted, just not today and not for the next few days either.
Sasuke turned away, trotted slowly with bowed head from the clearing and hardly had he reached the edge of it, he felt a sharp pain in his shoulder. He felt back and yanked the kunai out again.
Naruto watched him go with hateful eyes. "Get out of my life." he whispered, barely audible.
He pressed the lifeless, cold body against his. He knew that her heart had stopped beating and that had been for some time. He cried. Bitterly. All the anger that had built up wanted out. And Naruto put his head back and screamed, he screamed as loudly as he could, refusing to admit it.
Sakura knelt next to him. put her hand on his neck and pulled the still screaming Naruto to him. Hugged him and rubbed his back soothingly. Oh she cried for a friend. A loyal friend.

---End---

I thank my friend for helping me write this short chapter.
I would like to thank my friend who helped me to make room for all my anger and sadness.
And I especially thank my brother because he showed me that there is more in the world than grief and hatred.
