Fanfic: Lebe obwohl dein Herz still steht
Chapter: ~ Midnight ~
~ Midnight ~
The heart had been fighting for life for hours. Boom ... boom. It tried to pump the blood through the bloodstream and thus to keep the organism alive. Boom ... boom. But gradually it could no longer, even the heart was losing its strength to pump the blood. The only thing that could help was help, but when would it come or was it already on the way? Boom ... boom. It was still beating with the last of its strength to make it after all. A long silence followed this desperate heartbeat. It was too late now. The most important organ stopped its function and the organism was doomed to die.
Boom ... boom. It started to strike again. The rescue had come and was able to reanimate the young girl. Fortunately, they came in time to help her. Boom ... boom. The heart, which populated the whole organism with its veins and arteries, was beating again as hard as it was after the standstill. The blood began to pump through the pathways. Boom ... boom. Blood began to flow again from the wound, which the paramedics treated and cared for immediately. The girl was immediately taken to the local hospital with flashing lights. The paramedics did what they had learned in their training and wanted to keep the brown-haired girl alive until she got to the hospital. Boom ... boom. She lost a lot of red, sweet liquid, but her heart muscle was beating harder and harder and would not allow something like that to happen again and it just stop beating. But what could such a delicate and vulnerable organ do? It is only the most important organ that keeps you alive but you never listen to it and without all other organs it is nothing. Boom ... boom. Another heartbeat and the paramedics were convinced that she would make it, but she showed no reaction to the attempts to speak to her or to find out who she was. It wasn't long before they would arrive at the hospital. But the ambulance didn't want to take any chances and told them over the radio that they had an injured woman who didn't react and was bleeding profusely. They also told them they had to reanimate them and that doctors should be ready. Boom ... boom. Another powerful stroke of the muscle. The bandage around the wound was already soaked with blood, which is why it was quickly changed. Another attempt to speak to the woman and again she did not respond. But luckily the car was already there and the men left the couch with the woman out of the car and ran with her to the entrance where a doctor was waiting. It was pouring rain, too, which wasn't good for the wound under the bandage. Boom ... boom.
Now they had been in the clinic for a few minutes and already the heart stopped beating. They stopped immediately and tried again with resuscitation, which this time did not work and the doctor rammed a syringe into her heart.Adrenaline ... It took another short moment and the young woman gasped for a long breath. Boom ... boom. It was done again and the woman with the long brown hair was immediately taken to the intensive care unit. Diagnosis: Two cardiac arrests, which can have severe consequences, brain trauma and a stab wound in the epigastric region. Where this injury comes from is still unclear, as the patient was placed in an artificial comma. Who she was or where she comes from could not be clarified yet, the only thing they knew was that she was found badly injured in the middle of a street and would have died twice without help.
Boom ... boom. Everything was black, she couldn't see or hear anything. She was in a completely dark world. But what she heard, a beating, so delicate and fragile as a little bird and yet so wild and peaceful. Boom ... boom. Again she heard the gentle knocking. It kept coming back to her and calming her down. The woman who was trapped in the dark world just wanted to listen to the beating, although she didn't even know what it was. This noise could also be a sign of their death, because nobody can say what death looks or sounds like. Boom ... boom. The throbbing again. It got even closer to her ear and let goose bumps and a woolly shiver slide down her skin. She felt secure and didn't want to leave this place, even if it was so dark and only black. The woman was feeling full, but she knew it couldn't be a reality, because she can see and she also knew that she would miss the taste of sweet strawberries or the smell of freshly mown grass or walking on sand in the warm sun, that everything would just be missing and she didn't want to forget these feelings, which is why she ran away. The woman wanted out of this dark room and where she could feel all of this. Boom ... boom. She kept hearing this throbbing and while she was running her hair was blowing like in the wind. All she wanted was one more thing, away. So she ran, but she just didn't come from the place and meanwhile the tears ran down her rosy cheeks. Her vision was covered by a veil of tears and she knew no way out when a bright light came into her field of vision. She tried to get this ray of hope and she even succeeded. She stumbled into the glaring spot. Boom ... boom. She heard the noise for the last time before slowly opening her eyes.
Blue, shining eyes were the first thing the young woman saw. A gentle, warm and friendly smile looked at her and now after she had blinked several times. She recognized a young man in front of her. He smiled at her and then began to speak, but not a single word reached her ear. She couldn't understand him. The only thing she did was look at him and when she realized again that she didn't understand, she tried to make a gesture to tell him that she didn't understand. At first he just looked at her and when he understood it he had to laugh. The doctor with the short black hair then took a piece of paper and wrote something on it and handed it to his patient. So the two began a conversation, which was more limited to writing and gestures ...
