~*Roter Stern*~

First night

A great day was ahead.
It was March 14th of the third year of that time.
All that had already arisen were now eagerly waiting for someone to arrive.
We sat in the grass, it was lush green, and stared up at the starry sky. The moon shone so brightly that everything was bathed in a silver light. It was so peaceful. Every now and then there were noises in the background, the children giggling, a cricket singing their song, or just people talking.
The tension in our limbs rose when suddenly one of the stars began to shine brighter. The noises ceased and everything looked up to the sky. The star shone brighter and brighter, even surpassing the moon with its beautiful light. It looked like it was going to go up in flames. The white light of the moon had to give way to the red sparkle of the star. It got so bright that I could hardly bear it, so I held a hand in front of my eyes to protect them from the light.
It flashed once brightly, and bloody red, and the star fell ...
Suddenly everything was in great turmoil. They all jumped from their places, ran to and fro, shouting that they must find him. I followed a little girl who remained calm despite the hectic pace that had suddenly arisen. Targetedly it went in the direction in which the star disappeared.
We ran across fields, crossed small rivers and streams, and climbed over rocks.
The place we were looking for showed up as a huge crater in which the stones were still glowing and billows of hot smoke rose up. But the girl was not deterred by that either. It just went through the plume, so I followed, because it would already know what it was doing. As soon as the gray veil had loosened in front of my eyes, I had the feeling that I could no longer trust them. In front of me sat a beautiful young man, hair as white as snow and eyes as blue as the night sky, with a shimmer in them like only the stars have. He sat there in the middle of the crater, surrounded by embers and clouds of ash that wanted to stain his clean skin. And he was completely naked ... had the look of a helpless kitten that had fallen out of the nest too early. The little girl continued to walk towards him with a calm step.
He looked at her again with that twinkle in his eyes. She put her hand gently on his cheek.
"Here you are now, as you wished it to be, my son. Now show me what you meant when you said people can also have feelings." Said the child, but it sounded like an old woman, it was so cute . The young man smiled so beautifully that not even an angel could and answered in a voice I will never forget. Velvety soft and soothing than any violin ... beautiful like the twittering of birds and the rustling of the leaves in the wind. Low and high at the same time, a tone that could not possibly be squeezed into one note.
"Thank you, mother."Then the sweet child dissolved into star dust while she kissed him on the forehead.
