The way I love you
Memories, thoughts, feelings.
goal achieved
I've been there for you in both good times and bad, do you remember? But where are you when I bulge you? I still need you I will always need you But why don't you come? Why don't you come up to me and help me up when I've fallen? Why? Why do you open wounds that are still far from healed? Am i so worthless
The girl was soaked, but still strode bravely through the thunderstorm, but her eyes were empty of the dark expanse. On her left hand she had a bandage that had red spots and was soaked with rainwater. Her right hand hung limply and was tired. There was also a large, red mark on her right cheek.
Konoha was more or less behind her, even if only very slowly, but it wasn't speed that counted for her, but stamina. But the forest seemed overwhelming. At least it seemed so, because she was wandering around in the same place without noticing. Ultimately, she had found the right way. The path that would take her to the other end of the forest if she did not stray from the path, but in her condition she would not be able to stay on the path.
Sayo knew she would regret it later. At some point in the future. But her mother's words had provoked and irritated her too much. And she was loyal. Your memories, your thoughts, your feelings and him. And her iron assertiveness made her not look back, but think of a sunny future that would never exist.
Little consolation, this sunny future. The idea of having a whole family, friends, and an upswing career was too good to be true. For Sayo. For others it was natural. Unlikely for her because she made too many mistakes.
The exhausted redhead lifted her right arm and grabbed her left arm with her hand. She didn't know what this gesture was for. Maybe she wanted to give herself more support or wanted to be sure that her injury was okay.
The cold made her shiver and had found a way to her bones. Her eyes would sometimes close, but she would keep them open. She forced herself to do it. She had chosen this path and would now go it too. One of the many flaws that would leave marks and deep wounds.
Exhausted, she let both arms hang down, sighed and slowly brushed all the water droplets from her skin, but the rain only followed more.
Sayo groaned slightly irritated and briefly thought about where and how she would spend this night in peace, until she noticed something that made her brood.
Something was coming towards them. Fast. People. More people. Estimated around eight.
She only reacted after she realized that the ninjas from her village were following something. But why should it be? She wasn't a Nukenin yet.
Then her mother came into her mind and she started running. As if stung by a tarantula, in such a panic you'd think someone was going to die.
If it really was what she thought it was, it would be her fault. What had actually made her tell her mother the truth? Maybe that little bit of love that she still had towards her? Or maybe to love her father? Who knows.
She jumped more or less elegantly over bushes and roots, avoided branches and still tried to keep her pace. Relatively heavy in her condition, but held out for a while.
And half an hour after the rain stopped, she stopped, feeling as if even the slightest gust of wind could knock her over. Green-Eyes walked ahead on shaky legs and had long since forgotten the pursuers. At a leisurely pace, she swayed step by step until she slowed down and finally stood.
What was there before her? Tree trunks? Or is it stones?
She narrowed her eyes to get a closer look, but unfortunately it didn't help her much.
I thought I would recognize you anytime and anywhere, but I never have. Just an imagination. I thought I knew you so well, but I never have. That was just a pretense. I thought i would know who you are But I never knew.
Sayo quickened her pace. Strangely enough, she was curious, she wanted to know whether there were tree trunks or people.
A curiosity that she couldn't control, even when she was in a hurry. And she'd always had that habit. A curiosity that sometimes made her suffer cruelly, but sometimes saved her.
Suddenly she stopped and nodded resolutely. Goal achieved.
