I felt Lucie and Luna's discomfort, and I didn't feel well either. Since we just brought a stranger, maybe an enemy, to our den. But I tried to ignore the suspicion that I would do the same if someone from my pack was in danger.
So we marched further and further into our territory, more and more wolves appeared between the trees and disappeared when they saw that I was accompanying them.
Luna her nerves were bare, she had bristled fur, ready to attack the wolf demons at the slightest misstep. Our building came into view, and we were already stepping into the clearing in the middle of which a large mountain jutted out. Rico stood ready to fight in front of the building, the pack behind him. I raised my hands and symbolized that you should keep calm. We stopped a few meters away from the building and turned our attention to our visitors. The wolf demon seemed restless because it was surrounded by wolves, but it showed no fear or even fear. I was getting off Lucie when he was getting impatient. " Where is he?" came rude from him. Luna was already growling softly. But I silenced her. I heard steps behind me and knew that the guide Kouga had also entered the cave. He paid no attention to me, but knelt right next to the wolf demon and examined him. “I just bandaged his wound.” I tried to calm him down. But he just nodded and turned to his companions. “We'll bring him back.” The two nodded and carefully helped Kouga to pick up her comrade. I just nodded and went out. Outside everyone waited tense, ready at any time in case something went wrong. I went to Rico and looked at the cave from which the wolf demons were just emerging. I turned to Kouga, "Rico will accompany you back to the border." I looked at the wolf next to me, it was already moving north-east.
The guide nodded and wanted to leave, but turned back to me. "Thank you" Then he disappeared into the forest and followed Rico back to his pack. After the wolf demons left everyone relaxed again. Luna was in the sun and the others had gone to the river. Everything went back to normal.
But about two weeks later we got a terrible message.
" How could that happen?" I looked in horror at the lifeless body. He was found on a border of our area. Anger arose in me, and sheer hatred. Someone had dared to attack a member of our pack and to ... I looked away.I ordered a squad to look for clues. And made sure that our comrade got his last rest, but I left this task to Luna. I followed the trail. This consisted of many smells, it took me outside of our territory. Why was he so far out? In a clearing I found the bottom, a huge demon was lying there. But like his opponent, he had not survived this. But something else bothered me. That smell, I didn't know it. But something was wrong. I memorized the smell, one thing I knew, whoever this smell belonged to, was to blame for the death of my comrade. Suddenly I heard a crack behind me. I turned around and saw a demon in a red robe. No, he was a half demon. He stared at the demon's carcass then at me. "Do you work for Narake?" he snapped at me. "I don't work for anyone!" I gave back. He gripped the hilt of his sword. "Then why does it stink everywhere like this scum? The stranger smell belonged to a Narake. Anger simmered in me. He will atone. But before that I was distracted, because the Hanyou drew his sword and pointed it at me." Answer kindly ! "Before I could even react, a girl in strange clothes walked into the clearing." Inuyasha, what are you doing? "She called and ran towards the Hanyou. Inuyasha? The name sounded familiar. Anyway. I had better things now pretend to deal with that loudmouth. I turned around and was about to go to my pack when I piled up a huge force behind me and came towards me. I jumped aside and avoided this attack by a hair's breadth. I looked at them in horror Traces in the ground. "You stay here, I'm not finished yet" shouted the Hanyou. I slowly straightened up and looked at this Hanyou named Inuyasha. Now the anger that had built up broke out. What occurs to me attacking from behind and then giving me orders.
But before I could even attack him, his black-haired girlfriend took over this stalemate. "Are you crazy? She didn't do anything, or do you really think she has something to do with Narake?" she yelled at the hanyou.
When he yelled at her too, the girl turned around and just said. "Make way" What happened next surprised and confused me in equal measure, there was a bang and he was stretched out on the floor, all four of him. She came up to me and said he didn't mean it. I just nodded. Normally I would have taught him a lesson, but I remembered that power emanating from him. Was that the sword? He also knew something about this Narake. He was just getting up when I spoke to him. “Who is this Narake?” But she answered me. "He's a mean, insidious half-demon. He collects all the splinters to become even stronger.The shards of jewels. We found several, but they only caused trouble. So I had them removed, or more precisely, I gave them to a Miko.
Suddenly Inuyasha stood in front of me and grabbed my arm. "Inuyasha!" cried the girl, horrified. But this only looked at me. "I don't believe you have nothing to do with Narake!" he snapped at me. But behind us there was a deep growl. That distracted the hanyou and I tore myself away. Five great wolves stepped into the clearing.
But when he raised his sword, I intervened. “Enough, we've already lost a family member today.” I stepped between my pack and the Hanyou. "I'll tell you everything you want to know, but leave my pack alone." The girl seemed shocked. "They are huge."
Inuyasha sheathed his sword back. "Well, first of all who are you?"
I smiled, "My name is Saria, I am the leader of the mountain wolves for you." The girl looked at the wolves, fascinated. “Are they all that big?” “Yes, they are,” I answered, amused.
Rico stepped up next to me and whined. I looked at him and had to grin. “Rico wants to know where you come from.” I passed the question on to the girl. “You smell so different,” I told her.
She smiled. "My name is Kagome and where I come from it's a rather complicated story, oh and this is Inuyasha." She added, pointing at him. He just nodded.
"What else can you tell me about this Narake?" I asked both of them. As Inuyasha was about to answer, something flew into the clearing. My pack reacted immediately and stood protectively around me. “Wait! They are friends of ours.” Kagome called and stood between the wolves and the demon cat, which landed gently on the ground. A woman in armor dismounted and eyed the pack suspiciously before running towards Inuyasha. "Inuyasha we need your help. Immediately." He nodded and ran off. Kagome watched him go and then climbed onto the white demon cat with the woman. "I'm sorry, but we promise we will come back." I nodded. “I'll wait.” I watched the two of them fly away. I thought a strange bunch when I returned to our building with Rico and the others.
