The little elk sat sad and dejected in the galley of the Thousand Sunny. Small tears ran down his blue nose and he sobbed again.
"Don't be sad, Chopper! We'll find your nest!" Nami encouraged the doctor.
"But we've already looked all over the Sunny!" Moaned Usop in agony. “It's all your fault, Luffy!” With a sweeping gesture, he indicated the Captain of the Straw Hat Pirates, who hung his head with a bent head.
"You didn't find anything either, did you, Robin?" The navigator looked at her friend.
"Unfortunately no," admitted Nico Robin.
"I don't think that's great of you, Straw Hat!", Franky sniffled, a few tears still running down his cheeks after he had howled with Chopper about the Easter basket that was nowhere to be found.
Suddenly the door opened and Jinbei entered.
"And?" Asked Usop immediately.
"Not a trace. Even in the aquarium there was only one nest. By the way, the two brawlers ..." said the fish man, but Chopper stopped listening. He was too sad that Luffy had simply hidden his Easter basket again because he had found it. The Easter Bunny had tried so hard. The little moose remembered how the morning had started on a bad omen.

Chopper opened his eyes with a jerk. It was unusually quiet in the boy's cabin. Neither Zorro's loud snores, the muttered adventure stories of the shooter, nor Luffy's sleepy wailing after breakfast filled the room. Yawning, he pushed the warm blanket aside, rubbed the sleep from his eyes with his hooves, before he looked around and opened his eyes in shock. All beds were orphaned! Even Zorro was no longer in his bunk.
“Oh, no! I overslept!” Angry, he jumped out of bed and sped straight into the galley.
"Good morning, Chopper. Did you sleep well?" He was greeted by Robin.
"Where are the others?"
"They are already looking for their nests.", She smiled and went back to her book.
"You have already found yours!", Chopper was startled when he saw the small nest with a red bow in which there were many small chocolate eggs and a red heart.
"The Easter bunny left me a nest as a thank you, because I had helped him. It was on my new book," said Robin with a smile.
Of course, Nami, Sanji, Jinbei and Robin had come together to give the kids a happy Easter.
Robin had offered to hide all the nests that night. There was only one thing she had forgotten: her own Easter basket. Sanji noticed this and hid her Easter basket in the library without further ado, in the hope that she would finally confess her love to him.
"I have to go and look for it now!" Chopper hopped off, straight into his hospital room."If I were the Easter Bunny, where would I have hidden the nest?" Muttered the doctor.

Maybe in the medicine cabinet?
No.
Under the sickbed?
No.
Hm, otherwise a nest would have been too conspicuous.
Perhaps his nest wasn't hidden in his room either?
Perhaps it was near the swing that he loved to be.

Chopper quickly dashed back up onto the deck.

"I can still find you guys!", The little elk called loudly towards the meadow.
"Please don't make such a drama too! I want to sleep!" Grumbled Zorro, who had made himself comfortable on the mast.
"You sure won't find yours!" Chopper said indignantly.
"He literally stumbled over it earlier.", Giggled Usopp, but stepped back when he met the deadly gaze of Zorro.
"Well, I'll keep looking," said Chopper.
"You haven't found yours yet? Have you already checked the hospital room?" Asked Franky, who was enjoying a cola egg.
He too had already found his nest.
"No, I've already searched everything."
"Hey! I have now found mine too!" Said Usopp happily after looking in the sunny lion's head.
The little elk was getting sadder and sadder, but at the same time was determined. "I'll find mine too!"

"Who is still missing?Luffy!You shouldn't eat everything at once!", Nami scolded, hands on hips, as Luffy stuffed ten wrapped Easter eggs into his mouth.
"Everyone should have found their nests after all.", Sanji drew on a cigarette.
"Just not you, Blondi, you missed it out of sheer love," teased Zorro.
"Shut up, Marimo!" Hissed the cook.
"Are you going to have to fight again?" Sighed Jinbei, the newest member of the gang.
He was also sitting in front of his nest, filled with all kinds of goodies that he had found in the aquarium.
"I don't think Chopper has found his nest yet," broke in Brook. "He's already searching the whole ship."
Robin then gave her captain a stern look. "Did you put the nest back?"
Confused, the rest of the straw hats looked back and forth between the two of them.
"What do you mean, Nico Robin?" Asked Franky.
"Luffy first found Chopper's nest when he was no longer in the hospital room. I asked him to put it back in its place."
"I just wanted to help him, but I forgot where I had hidden it again!" Pouted the straw hat.
"Are you serious?" Jinbei was shocked.
What was he getting into?
"Apparently it does. You will have to get used to it!", Nami groaned.
"You will now help poor chopper! I don't want to see him unhappy today!" Scolded the orange-haired navigator. "March off!"

But even with reinforcements they couldn't find Chopper's nest and the little moose crept into the galley with hanging head to get at least something in his stomach.***

"Luffy? You won't finish your last Easter bunny, will you?", The loud voice of Nami got the doctor out of his thoughts again.
"No, I don't want to eat him. Since Chopper can't find his nest, I want to give him my last chocolate!", Luffy replied seriously.
"I can't accept that!" Chopper shook his head.
"Yes, you can!", Robin encouraged him, while she put a new basket filled with Easter grass on the table with her devil's powers. Grinning, the straw hat captain placed the Easter bunny in the green thicket.
"You get something from me too, after all, you always take care of my life-threatening injuries!" Agreed the gunner.
With a smile, Jinbei also laid one of his largest chocolate eggs in the new nest.
Meanwhile, Sanji had quickly made cotton candy and wrapped it in the shape of a little rabbit on a wooden stick. This also found its place in the basket.
After Franky, Brook and Nami also filled the nest, Zorro hesitated.
He was in turn pushed by Robin, who placed an egg with a red heart in the now well-filled nest.
"Okay, since he's with us, I've also had fewer scars.", The green-haired swordsman muttered and laid three eggs - pink, blue and green - in them as well.
Chopper's little black button eyes got bigger and bigger until he thanked his friends in tears.
"Don't cry around, Chopper! We're your friends after all and we share everything!" Luffy laughed while he stole an egg from Usopp and put it in his mouth.
"Hey! That wasmyegg!" Protested the long nose.
"So many sweets and all those eggs!", Chopper giggled happily, his eyes shining with joy as he stroked her. "Egg, egg, egg!"
The sight elicited a slight smile from Robin before she turned to the Smutje. "Could you bring breakfast now? I think we could all use something now."
"As you command, Robin-chan!" Sanji adored her.
"Stupid cockroach." Zorro growled.
"Shut up, muscleman!"
"Is this going to start again?" Jinbei sighed.
"You should get used to that, Yohohohoho!" Brook sang, tuning his guitar.

After breakfast, Chopper happily went to his hospital room because he still wanted to make his rumble balls despite Easter. Everything he needed was there.
He put his friends' Easter basket down on the hospital bed.
"Okay, best of all, I'll find my glasses and the devices together first." Chopper thought out loud.
When he took the equipment out of the closet, he was startled.
"What is that?", He wondered, when a few glasses in the cupboard were filled to the brim with chocolate eggs.
"Those are little chocolate eggs!", Chopper squeaked in surprise. "So this is where the Easter Bunny hid it!"
In fact: Luffy simply put the little Easter eggs that were meant for the elk in the containers, which Chopper didn't know."Hey guys!" Chopper yelled excitedly and ran onto the deck.
The rest of the straw hats gathered in astonishment and curiosity, so they wanted to know what he had to say to them.
"I found my things after all! The Easter bunny put them in the glasses!"
"Yes, I'm glad you finally found it!", Luffy beamed.
"But I thought you couldn't remember where you hid it!" Complained Usopp.
"You can't tell me that, Robin told me. The Easter Bunny won't do it either!" Said the captain deadly serious.
"How?" Asked Chopper, confused.
"You are a hopeless case!", Nami scolded and gave the straw hat a juicy head-butt.
"Ah! Luffy!" Chopper yelled in horror. "We need a doctor!"
"You're the doctor!" Giggled Robin.
"Oh, that's right!", The moose stammered and took care of Luffy's big bump.
"You really never get bored!" Laughed Jinbei.
"It's always exciting with Luffy-san! Now we're singing songs in honor of the Easter Bunny!" Trilled the skeleton, intoning the first chord on his guitar.
"No, not yet!" Chopper threw in and ran into the galley.
Confused, the others followed.
"Somehow he's turned up today.", Zorro remarked.
"That's sure the excitement.", Franky said with a shrug.
“What are you doing there?” Curiously, Sanji peers over Chopper's shoulder, who placed his Easter basket on the table and fished out some chocolate eggs.
"You gave me something of yourselves and now I am giving you something of myself!" Beamed Chopper and distributed the remaining eggs in the nests of his friends.
"That's nice of you!" Smiled Robin.
"You shouldn't praise me, stupid turkey! I don't like that!" The little doctor pranced through the galley with flushed cheeks, then made Luffy grin broadly.
"If that is the case, then I wish you all:Happy Easter!"
