Naruto, Choji, Ino, Shikamaru, and I were sent on a mission. We did this quickly and were on our way home again. Another member of the defeated enemy from the mission followed us and wants to take revenge on us. We are pelted with smoke bombs, but these are not normal bombs, they contain a kind of poison that makes us all unconscious, but has another effect. When we wake up one after the other again, we find that we are trapped in a room. When we are all awake again we suddenly hear a voice that says:

"You are now my prisoners and you will only be able to get out of here if you win my competition! ..... Oh and one more thing, the smoke you inhaled from my smoke bomb suppressed the girls' abilities and powers. This are suppressed until, if you even manage to get out of here! "
"What? ",

Ino and I asked incredulously.

"Give it a try, but if you want to get out of here you have to beat the other teams in this competition! Ha ha ha.",

and after his malicious laugh he could no longer be heard. I tried some jutsus that I usually do perfectly, but nothing happened. Ino tried it too, and it was exactly the same with her. I stared at my hands in shock and even collapsed easily. Naruto tried a jutsu and said:

"So I can still use jutsus!"
"You idiot, weren't you listening? He said that only the girls have lost their skills and are you a girl?"

Shikamaru asked him and when he was finished he saw "his girlfriend" kneel down. He immediately ran to me and supported me.

"Stay calm and sit down on the chair and you Choji grab Ino and put her here too!"
"Yes, I'll do Shikamaru!"

Choji replied. Ino was not as shocked as I was, as she often couldn't do anything. Naruto tried to get the door open but couldn't.
Since he was thrown back, he was lying on the ground. He got up and sat down on a chair too. Shikamaru did the same and pulled the chair towards me and said: "Have a drink first, my darling!",

and looked at me very calmly and lovingly. Naruto didn't really notice it and looked at us a little confused. Shikamaru filled a glass and gave it to me and said to me again that I should drink. I did that too. Since he put his hand on my back, I also calmed down.

"How do we get out of here Shikamaru?"

said Ino who ate something just like Choji. He thought about something and said:

"The only possibility is to win this competition. We all have to stay together and help each other, especially the girls!"

and while he was saying this he put his right hand on mine on the glass and together he brought the glass to his lips and took a sip from it.When he turned it off again he said to me:

"Honey have another drink! Who knows when we can drink something again!"
"Did you just say" honey "to her Shikamaru?"
"Your turn in a few minutes. Ha ha ha. Let's see how you're getting on!"

suddenly said the voice again. I turned to Shikamaru, looked at him and said:

"Shikamaru, I'm scared and that's only because I have no skills!"
"Aiko keep calm, I'm with you and we can do it as a team!"
"I know but I'm still afraid, especially for you!"

I said with light tears in my eyes and when I said this I turned to his chest and closed my eyes. He took me tightly in his arms and tried to calm me down a little. While we were sitting there, Naruto asked again:

"How long have the two been together?"
"Naruto has been around for a few months!"
replied Choji.

"Did not you know that? ",
Ino asked now, slightly irritated.
"No, I didn't know!"
Naruto defended himself.
The kidnapper came in and said:

"So the time has come, I'll take you to your competition."

The panic rose a bit in me again but Sikamaru was still holding my hand. He brought us to a kind of labyrinth and said to us when he locked us up in it:
"Defeat the enemy and get out of it alive, then you are free. If not then you will die here. Ha ha ah!",

and went away. We had to climb up and down, to the right and sometimes to the left and every now and then Shikamaru had to help me and encourage me. We had a lot of opponents together but the boys always managed it except for one fight where it was pretty bad and the opponents were after us women, but somehow especially me.
Ino tried to defend it with Taijutsu but it didn't help against him. He came closer and closer to me and I couldn't move from the rigidity of fear. He took a swing but before he could do anything to me he was held by Shikamaru and led him away from me.
Naruto managed to defeat him immediately after the shadow was gone. Choji had put himself in front of Ino and me as protection. Ino had rushed to me shortly after Shikamaru had led him away. I was tied to the seat, staring at the floor.

Ino tried to talk to me but it didn't work and called Shikamaru. This one came to me quickly and while he hugged me in his arms he said to me:

"He can do nothing more! ..... Calm down! We are all there and protect you!"
"Please leave me behind and save your own life! You will move faster without me and I cannot even help you!"
"NO!"
"What?"
"NO, we won't leave you behind, we're friends and friends stick together! Really now!"
Naruto said stubbornly.

"Exactly and I love you too."
"What?...... Me too Shikamaru, but I feel useless, I can't even do Taijutsu, like Ino, I'm useless! "
"That's not true at all! You're one of the best, otherwise you wouldn't be a Jonin either! Really now!"
Naruto was almost yelling at me.

"Exactly Aiko and who knows if you haven't gotten more of the smoke like I did and it seems even more intense! We'll make it but come on now, because we're leaving this place as a team!"
"Exactly my darling, and no one takes this offensive to you, because it can happen to anyone!"
"And you were struck by the last mission too!",

said Choji too.
I looked everyone in the eye and could see the friendship in them. I got up a little wobbly, with Shikamaru helping me and saying to them:
"Thank you my friends and now let's go!"
"OK! ",

everyone exclaimed enthusiastically and set off. We overcame all the other obstacles until we came to a kind of hole, but also like a slide, at the end. We just had to go underneath and then we would finally be free again, if it weren't for a trigger that, when we opened the hatch, would collapse after a countdown. Everyone got ready and before I should jump first I said again softly to Shikamaru:

"I'm scared if I have to jump first! Can't we send the other three through?"
"Yes ok! ..... Naruto you jump first and then you two!"
"Yes! ",
they called confirmed. We all knew that we all had to get through as soon as possible.

We nodded to each other and immediately afterwards Shikamaru opened the hatch. We all did exactly as agreed because the "building" was about to collapse. I waited longingly for Shikamaru who just came out but landed wrong and cracked his ankle.
As a result, he couldn't get up straight away and was now more and more in danger of being buried under the rubble. I gathered all my strength and ran to him as fast as I could, grabbed him and "threw" him like Obito once did with Kakashi.
He was now out of harm's way. I was walking in the direction of my friends and just before I was safe a chunk hit me and trapped one of my legs. Naruto immediately ran off with a Rasengan in hand and destroyed the chunk with it. He grabbed me and brought us back to the rest of the team.

Everyone had watched the scenario and was rigid. When we were all safe, Ino took care of Shikamaru at my request. She was able to heal him completely, after which she turned to me. However, it was a complicated fracture that is not that easy to heal.
Choji grabbed me and we could finally go back to Konoha. Without knowing it, we had also killed our kidnapper. He was one of the "trap opponents" that we encountered.Shikamaru went ahead and the three were a little behind him and whispered that he hadn't complained once, that it annoys him, and all three came to the conclusion that I had changed him.

However, I didn't notice anything because I was slightly poisoned from the smoke bomb and slept off like the flu. I went to the hospital, where I was given an antidote and had an operation on my leg. After that, I was tied to the bed for a while and couldn't do a mission for the time being!

However, I got a visit from my friend every day and every time Ino gave him flowers. The rest of the team also came by occasionally when they had time. Everything went almost back to normal.
My leg healed relatively quickly. After a few weeks, my attending doctor told me that I could leave the hospital soon, only a few final examinations would have to be made.
When these were done Shikamaru came over, took my bag and together we left the hospital. The doctor gave me a few more weeks of rest and I wasn't allowed to exercise again. The time of rest went by in a flash and now I was finally able to train again and Shikamaru and his rest of the team were of great help to me and over time the normal ninja life and the associated missions could go on.
