Love, suffering, conflict ... What the future will bring
Chapter 1 What else is ahead of us
Here I am sitting in the dark of my bedroom and thinking about why I feel so damn close that he kisses another woman. What does that have to say? For us it was just a kiss, after all. One kiss that changed so much.
Did I think it was something special? That I, as a human being, could impress the prince of the Saiyans? Prince Eisenherz could get him to show his feelings. If there were any feelings at all.
What am I doing…
* a few months earlier *
Freezer was defeated. And we all thought we could go back to our normal lives. I - as nice as I am sometimes - offered Vegeta, the prince of the Saiyans, to my parents in the Capsule Corp. to dwell and live.
What was I thinking? No idea.
After he allied with us on Namek, he changed. Somehow he behaved differently. Still dismissive, but apparently he was slowly realizing that Son Goku, besides himself, was the only survivor of his race. If he wanted to establish a connection to this in whatever sense, he had to fight by his side and get to know life on earth. But even if he fights by our side, his life goal is still to defeat Son Goku one day. But Piccolo once had this goal too. And today it is impossible to imagine our group without him.
One day a young man came to us from the future. Had he been a few years older, I might even have been interested in him. He was a handsome, muscular man with lilac hair and a sword on his back. The most interesting thing about him, however, was that he had a jacket with the Capsule Corp. logo on it. wore. The logo of the company my father ran with me. Was that a sign that we would be successful worldwide in the future? Who knows. But the prospect of that was very interesting. The boy didn't want to talk about why he was wearing the jacket, however. In general, he didn't want to talk to us. He didn't even tell us his name. His only interlocutor was actually Son Goku. The two separated from our group and talked to each other for a while. Vegeta, Son Gohan, who was Son Goku's son and thus also - at least half - descended from the Sayajins; Yamcha, Tenshinhan, Chao-Zu, Kuririn, Piccolo and I stayed behind and looked spellbound at the two of them. What do you think they are talking about? They also kept looking over at us, but you couldn't tell from their expressions what they were talking about.
All of a sudden I heard my name. "PEOPLE! Hey what's this? I know you're talking about me! If you've got something to say, come over and tell me personally!" I shouted at them.Son Goku just waved his hand and continued talking to the boy. "Piccolo, why are you grinning like that? Do you think that's funny? How would you like it if your best friend talked to a stranger about you?" I threw now at Piccolo, who was resting against a stone wall with a confused grin on his face.
"It's just too amusing the way you get upset Bulma. Maybe your name didn't come up at all." Piccolo replied coolly, but didn't break his grin.
“I'm not stupid, Piccolo!” In anger, I paced up and down and waited for the two of them to finally end their conversation and explain what was going on. It doesn't happen all that often that a boy from the future suddenly appears before us.
"I CAN NOT STAND THIS ANYMORE!!" I screamed now. "Shut up, woman!" I heard from Vegeta. "What do you want now?" I yelled back. "Bulma, unfortunately I have to agree with him. Calm down. We'll find out what it's about." Yamcha got involved.
"YOU agree with HIM? I don't believe Yamcha. You keep reproaching me for letting him live with me and now you're stabbing me in the back because of Vegeta? ..." I couldn't get any further at that moment Son Goku flew over to us.
"Where ... where did the boy go?" I asked him perplexed. “He has to go back to his time.” Son Goku gave me back just a little. And just at that moment, behind a ledge, a strange machine rose into the air. In it sat the young man from the future. He looked at us briefly and waved goodbye, before he continued to climb with this machine and finally disappeared in a beam of glaring light.
I looked after him for a moment. Somehow I had the feeling that I had just lost something. The moment I saw this blazing light, my heart jumped and it felt like someone was about to tear it out of my chest. I'm sure I'll get the flu, I thought briefly before I turned to Son Goku to squeeze him out. At that moment, however, Vegeta was already there and tried to soak up any information from him.
"..Cyborgs, yes? When are they coming?" Vegeta just wanted to know. "In exactly 3 years." Piccolo replied briefly. Son Goku looked at him aghast. "What? Do you think I'm just wearing my ears for adornment?" he asked Son Goku with a malicious grin on his face. "That was all of the boy's IMPORTANT information." he added. Son Goku nodded and scratched the back of his head. He had still fixed his gaze on Piccolo and confirmed with a nod: "Yes, that was all important information."
"Okay! Let these tin boxes come! It's almost laughable that you have recently had to fight some piles of junk." said Vegeta with a sneer in his voice that almost made him answer the phone.
"But if what the boy says is true, you're damn strong, Vegeta." Son Goku brought him down from his high horse."We should use the time until they arrive to train." he added.
"And then it's your turn Kakarott!" came from Vegeta. Son Goku just grinned at him and nodded briefly.
"We should go." said Son Goku and answered. Gohan and Piccolo followed closely. And Kuririn, Tenshinhan, Chao-Zu and finally Yamcha got up and they were gone.
"WAIT!" I called after Yamcha, but apparently he couldn't hear me anymore or didn't want to. ".. who is bringing me home now?" I whispered to myself.
At that moment the silence was broken by a slight growl. "What is woman? Are you coming now or do you want to stay here?"
Vegeta? Vegeta asked me willingly if he should take me with him? I stayed there for a moment until I saw Vegeta's grim expression darken even further. So I went up to him and put my arms around his shoulders from behind. My arms barely touched his body when he took off and flew away at high speed in the direction of the Capsule Corporation.
At first I was completely perplexed. I couldn't see anything of the landscape around us, apart from a few colored stripes. The forests and mountains literally whizzed past us. The wind whipped my face, so I buried it on Vegeta's strong shoulder - oh man, he had really STRONG shoulders - and whispered to him: "Could you PLEASE slow your pace a bit? I'm sick." With an annoyed groan he slowed down his pace. Now I could see the contours of the landscape again, but I let my face rest on Vegeta's strong shoulder until we got home. Once there, he landed on the lawn, put me down immediately and went straight to the gravity room I had constructed to train. What else? I looked after him for a moment. Shaking my head, about Vegeta's obsession with training, I slowly went into the house.
