Chapter: overcomes time

"No! Mama! Wait!" The little boy tugged at his mother's arm, but she wasn't listening to her son. Her eyes were fixed on the papers the man from the moving company had shown her.
When she had put her signature on it, she grabbed the boy and put him in the child seat. "Now be quiet, Yuukimaru. We have to hurry, Papa is waiting for us in the new house.", She admonishes him. "But mom! My Pokémon is still in my room!"
Annoyed, she shakes her head. "Now it's over! You don't have a Pokémon, I don't have time for your invisible friends now. You understand, I'm stressed."
Yuukimaru tries to contradict again, but is interrupted again. “Be a dear boy.” Then the car door closes and his mother gets behind the wheel.
What remains is an abandoned house.
Each of the pictures and carpets, each lamp and each piece of furniture have already been transported away, so that the last few days before the move were very uncomfortable. Today the last remaining small parts were stowed away. Everything was completely empty, only in Yuukimaru's room was something, as if forgotten, on the windowsill.
The Poké Ball belonged to a Trasla who was as young and inexperienced as its owner himself. Still, they had a strong friendship since the day they met. The little boy was sitting alone on the steps of the kindergarten, his parents were running late again. All the other children had already been picked up, so Yuukimaru was bored.
So he did what all curious children his age do, carefully explore the area. That day changed his young life, because in the tall grass next to the wood he met a Trasla. They hit it off and from that day on it kept him company while waiting. Two years later, he bought his first Poké Ball in the market with his pocket money, in order to make the bond between him and Trasla clear. They both feared what would happen if another trainer caught Trasla and took him away.
He proudly showed his parents the Poké Ball, but they didn't really pay attention to him and dismissed it as an invisible friend.
They moved a year later and Yuukimaru was forced to leave Trasla behind. It was only when it was too late that they believed their son.
The Trasla was found by the new owners of the house, and the daughter, a child of Yuukimaru's age, looked after the Pokémon.
At the age of ten, the parents asked their son if he would like to go get a starting Pokémon from the professor. He said no and said: "I already have a partner, I only want to start my journey with him by my side. So he went to look for his companion. His way led him to his old home. There was a girl in the garden at his age, who trained with a guard evoir. Spellbound, he paused, unable to take his eyes off the scenario. The guard evoir turned around and looked at him.
"Guardevoir, what is it?" Asked the girl. "Is that him? Your friend from back then?" Unable to move or say anything, Yuukimaru paused. The Pokémon, however, floated towards him. "It has been waiting for you, waiting for the day you can be together again. It has worked hard to become stronger, so that it can accompany you on your journey." She handed him the Poké Ball that he bought five years ago and smiled at him. Yuukimaru said nothing, he cried silent tears of joy, finally he had his best friend back.
