So there we were again, in the middle of the rain, on a landscape destroyed by chakras. A cold wind came up and pushed my pink hair back from my face.

Sasuke ...

Once again we were sent on a mission to get Sasuke.

'' Sasuke !! Come with us! '' Naruto shouted all over the field, but Sasuke just grinned nastily. Sasuke Uchiha, our old team member. I didn't want to believe it, but everyone was right, he has changed ...

The chidori got bigger.

And then I felt other chakras enter the ruined landscape.

`` Karin, Suigetsu, Yuugo. '' Sasuke turned to his new team. 'Sasuke-kun! What do you want from him ?! We won't give it up! '' shouted Karin, shrugging a kunai, Suigetsu took the sword from Zabusa.

It made me so angry to see how he held the sword off of him. As if it always was.

'' Well, as you like ... ''

And then the struggle for life and death began.

We were separated from each other, I had to fight Sasuke. Our breathing was difficult and our chakra would soon go out. I just want to get it over with quickly.

`` You know, Sakura. I could have forgiven you. We could have rebuilt the Uchiha clan. What you always wanted, you and I ... '' he said and put his katana away, walking slowly towards me.

`` Sasuke, that was once upon a time. '' I whispered when we were almost facing each other.

It hurt, all these years, I only trained for him, for Sasuke. And now, I don't understand myself, but suddenly I realize that I had never really loved Sasuke.

It was all really just in vain ...

''Be quiet! BE QUIET! '' he shouted, but I couldn't get it anymore.

`` You ... you loved him, didn't you? You love Itachi, that's why you don't want me! ''

I tried to raise my hand, which I managed, and put it on his cheek.

'' No ... * cough * I ... I * cough cough * just love you ... Sasuke-kun ... ''

My hand left a bloody streak on his face as my eyes slowly closed and my body lay completely limp in his arms.

'' SAKURA! ''

And also the last spark of my life left my body.
