That evening everything was basically the same as always. The straw hats were just having dinner, were in a good mood and celebrating exuberantly.
Sanji cooked and served the food in beautifully decorated portions to Nami and Robin. He danced around them again and again. Robin and Nami ignored his flirting and happily ate their portions. They were in a good mood and laughed at the boys who were cheerful as always. Franky, Usopp, Chopper and Brook munched across the table and laughed out loud. They cracked stupid jokes and made fun of everything and everyone. They sang, danced and had a lot of fun doing it. And Zorro was fine too. He could drink his beloved sake from large jugs and laugh at every weird joke.
And Luffy sat in his place and laughed loudly as always. He had a leg of meat in one hand and a steak in the other.
And yet that evening he hadn't eaten as much as usual. Sanji was the first to notice this.
"Hey Luffy!" He called across the room. “Don't you like my food today, or why do you eat so little?” Sanji had to smile when he said 'little', because it was still 5 times as much as he eats himself.
Luffy looked at him in amazement. He hadn't even noticed that he hadn't eaten much. Then he grinned: "Well, apparently I'm not hungry."
Sanji looked at him doubtfully. "Really? YOU'RE NOT HUNGRY ?!"
Now the others looked at him too. You don't want Luffy to be hungry anymore? You've never seen him like this before!
But Luffy just laughed in a good mood as always. "What is it? Can't I be full?" "Yes, of course," said Sanji. “But otherwise you are never full!” He smiled. "But if today really should be the historic day when that should be the case, then I don't want to complain."

When Sanji went on deck the next morning, he saw that Luffy was sitting on the ship's railing and looking out to sea. He went to him.
"Morning, Captain. How are you?", Sanji asked him kindly and looked at Luffy from the side.
"Okay.", Luffy replied tersely and, in Sanji's opinion, far too seriously. Luffy just kept staring at the water and didn't seem quite there. Sanji put a hand on his shoulder, causing Luffy to turn to him.
Sanji was startled.
You could tell at first glance that something was wrong.
His eyes looked strangely foggy and bloodshot.
"Um .. Are you sure you're okay?" Sanji asked worried.
Luffy smiled slightly. "Yes, I'm fine. Why?"
“Why?” Sanji looked at him seriously. “Because you look totally sick!” He eyed him. "You should definitely go to Chopper. You look like you're about to go limp!"
"Oh what. You're exaggerating!" Luffy looked at him. "I feel great!"

Almost a day had passed since the navy attack, but Luffy was still unconscious.Chopper was with him all the time, examining him every few minutes.
Nami had decided that they should stay on course and spend some time on Old Land. There they would be able to replenish their supplies, and Chopper also wanted to buy more medicine books and look for Luffy's illness

"Good day!"
The crew turned. A pretty red-haired girl stood in front of them. Sanji got cute eyes and ensnared her like any girl. "Oh Mademoiselle! You most beautiful of all beautiful people! You-" "Sanji!" Nami shouted angrily. She found it really embarrassing.
"Could you show me your panties-" With a hard hit on the head, Nami also interrupted Brook.
The girl looked a little confused.
"Sorry both of them." Nami said gently. "Unfortunately they are impossible!"
“It's all right!” The girl smiled. "You're pirates, right?"
"Yep. That's right!"
"Good!" Replied the girl. "My name is Kohana. I am responsible for all pirates. Welcome to Old Land!"

Suddenly the corner of Luffy's eyes twitched.
“Hey, Luffy?” Chopper's eyes were wide open and he was grinning widely. "Luffy? Hey! Can you hear me?" He was so glad that Luffy was giving a sign of life.
The black-haired man sat up with a jerk. He held his head. "Ouch .."
Chopper jumped on Luffy's neck. "Luffy !!"
Luffy smiled slightly. "So what's going on?"
Chopper let go of him immediately. "Sorry! You should lie down again!" He looked at Luffy and quickly realized that he was in pain. "Do you want a pain reliever?" He asked and was already on the way to the medicine cabinet.
"No, thanks.", Replied the captain, but Chopper had already put the oval pill in his mouth.
Luffy swallowed her grimaces. “Uhh!” Luffy shuddered with disgust. He hated these drugs, but Chopper nodded in satisfaction.

Suddenly the door was pushed open. "Luffy !!" Usopp exclaimed happily. “I knew I heard your voice!” Behind him, the other straw hats also looked into the room. But before everyone could storm into the practice at the same time, Chopper grew up and stood in the way of the others. "STOP !!!" he yelled. "Luffy needs rest!" Immediately the crew stopped and looked past Chopper at Luffy. Luffy just smiled.
Chopper got small again. "If Luffy agrees, you are allowed in, but only if you are calm.", Chopper admitted. He could finally understand how the others felt.
"You can come in ..", one could hear Luffy's calm voice from the practice. So Chopper let them pass. Now the entire crew was assembled.

Nami approached Luffy vigorously, grabbed his arms and shook him. "What's wrong with you-" She suddenly paused. The navigator took Luffy's skin between her fingers and tugged on it. Yes .. His skin didn't give way.
Luffy slapped her hand away. "Hey! That hurts!"
Everyone was silent for a moment. They made big eyes. Luffy was the first to really realize what was going on. He screamed. “What is that ?!” He pulled on his skin until it turned all blue."Why doesn't it stretch ?! That- That's impossible!"
Chopper was the first of the crew to break out of his stupor.
He ran up to Luffy, grew tall, and held him tight. "Luffy !! Calm down! You're hurting yourself !!"
