Yamato, Kyu, Lentlily, Hikura:

Lentlily refused to reveal why she didn't want to go to Blance. But after Yamato told her part of his own story, she gave her reasons. With the promise to take care of her, he got her to accompany him back to the farm.
At the farm they met again with Kyu and Hikura, although the latter had not yet dealt with their problems. Which is why there was no time when bandits rode up and Peregrin chased them into the barn. There was nothing they could do from there except watch Peregrin's little sister being abducted by the men. Peregrin's next instruction was clear. You should leave the farm the following morning. There was disagreement about the future path they wanted to take, which led to arguments again, especially between Hikura and Yamato. In the end, however, they all agreed that they would leave for Vert to inform the Duke about the bandits.
The next morning they set out early. They avoided the road and came to what appeared to be an old mine tunnel. Although they could only make a makeshift torch from the material they had at their disposal, this should be enough for now.
When they had been walking down the dark underground passages for a while, they were attacked in the darkness by eyeless creatures with razor-sharp tongues. They had defended themselves for a while, but as more and more came, they dropped the torch and could only run.

Jonouchi, Sabari:

The wolf led Sabari and Jonouchi through the forest until they reached a rock wall. Since it was too dark to continue walking, they made their night camp on the spot. The following morning they could see where they were. They were at the foot of a mountain.
As they turned east, they came to the waterfall from which the river apparently sprang. The idyll did not last long, however, when a one-armed stone golem appeared from behind the waterfall and attacked her. Completely helpless against the monster, they fled into the cave from which the monster had come. What they found was a chamber with runes on the walls and an altar with a single dust-free spot, as if something had recently been removed. Not far from them was the golem's other arm, crumbled and crumbled.
There was no time to explore when the golem hurried after them. They fled into a dark corridor, which collapsed when the golem tried to squeeze into it.
With a lot of luck they were unharmed, but now had to try to find their way out of the darkness somehow. Of necessity, they took the only path the corridor offered until they came to a cul-de-sac, with a single thin opening at their feet.
