The group of four could only stumble through the darkness without a torch, pursued by hungry monsters. When Lentlily passed out, the situation seemed hopeless.
But suddenly the way was illuminated by small points of light. With no other choice, they followed the lights. After a while, the monsters no longer seemed to be chasing them. But instead they heard her screams behind them. No battle cries, but bloodcurdling cries full of pain.
What replaced the monsters was a coldness that spread, a darkness that consumed even the little lights. Driven by fear, they ran as fast as they could and reached daylight at the very last moment, before it was too late.
Outside the mine, they found that it seemed a whole day had passed while they had wandered through the darkness.
During a short break, they tended their wounds and then went back on their way. It wasn't long before they found a sign pointing to Vert and after the last few kilometers they had finally reached the city. The gate guards warned skeptically at first, but let them pass. The soldiers in front of the Duke's estate were less friendly. It took the interference of a man wearing glasses who came through the gates of the property before they were let through. He introduced himself under the name Lezard Valeth and seemed to be serving the duke, to whom he promptly led her. After they had described the location of the village in the south, the duke was ready to treat them as guests for the duration of their stay. A meal should be prepared for them. But first the four were allowed to take a bath to wash after all the hardships.

Jonouchi, Sabari:

Sabari tried to crawl through the opening on the floor, Jonouchi followed shortly afterwards. However, this turned into a slide when they came to a slope. The road carried them out of the mountains and they found themselves in free fall. Their fall was caught by tall grass and once again the two of them emerged unharmed. Not knowing where they were now, they headed west and soon met three bandits in the middle of a street who seemed to be on guard there.
Although these were not very friendly towards Jonouchi, they were so blinded by Sabari that they started talking. This is how the two found out about Vert and the village occupied in the south. The conversation didn't last long when Jono knocked them all down with washing machines ...

Echo, the bear:

After Echo finally came to a standstill after days, he no longer knew why he had started running at the beginning of the RPG. The bear in the circus pants had followed him all the way, but had run so much and starved for so long that he was now completely emaciated. They were both hungry, that was clear. They found some berries nearby, but that was barely enough to satisfy either of them.But the bear knew how to find something to eat. He wanted to go to a river and fish. But since he couldn't speak, he couldn't make Echo understand this. So he resorted to one last act of desperation ... He grabbed Echo and just tried to pull him with him. He should just see for himself.

Luzie, Kachina:

Luzie and Kachina were the newest arrivals in this strange world. At first they found each other separated from each other, but it didn't last long. Both young women at the end of their teens. One was wearing a school uniform, the other was wearing clothes that looked very oriental.
Kachina first found herself in a forest, Luzie in a barn. Neither knew where they were, nor could they remember how they suddenly came to be there.
Kachina first tried to climb a tree in the hope of being able to overlook the surroundings from it. That hope quickly burst when it did not get high enough. Despite this, she wanted to try to escape from this forest and took the next best direction. But the danger was already lurking… Marik appeared behind her, who had fallen into nettles with his pants down. But we could have saved ourselves this detail ...
Sooner or later, Kachina had to flee, and with success. Because although Marik believed he was as fast as a puma, after two seconds he couldn't breathe and began to gasp like a stalling car engine. And that's putting it mildly.
In the meantime Luzie had left the barn and discovered the edge of the forest, which she was walking towards, since there was apparently no one else here. It wasn't long before she saw Kachina run past and immediately called out to her. Surely she could help her.
After the unpleasant encounter with Marik, Kachina could only breathe a sigh of relief with another girl. The two made contact.

Bennett, Tsubaki:

Outside the town of Vert, two figures sat under two trees standing side by side.
A tall, muscular, but at the same time heavy-looking man with a stern expression on his face. Bennett.
A young girl, not unattractive, but probably not conspicuous in her own home country either. All the more noticeable here, because you could tell that she didn't belong here. Tsubaki.
Bennett hadn't been in this strange area very long. Tsubaki, who had followed him since they first met, was here all the longer. They never seemed to have talked much. Indeed, it was only now that they began to introduce themselves to each other by name. The conversation that began was about this world, where they were, where they came from, and it was arguably the longest dialogue they'd had since they'd met.
A chocolate past its expiration date was what made them go into town. Tsubaki's stomach ache could not go untreated. So they went through the slums of the duchy, where countless people gazed at Tsubaki or even tried to reach for her. Bennett, however, would not allow it. He didn't want any more trouble.Tsubaki was taken to an old man who seemed to know her. In fact, she had helped him several times in the past. He treated her upset stomach, but it struck him immediately that Bennett was an outsider in this world. He asked him to take Tsubaki with him as soon as he left, since she doesn't belong here and could never be happy here. Bennett, who was not a fan of company, was against it no matter how helpful or kind-hearted Tsubaki said to the old man. However, he stopped protesting. There was no point anyway.
If he took it with him, he should at least know what it was good for. Their skills were quickly summed up: flying and fighting with a spear. Since she already had her own spear, wherever it could be found, Bennett still had to get hold of her own weapon. And so he went out.
It was before sunrise when he came back, dirty over and over. What he was able to secure was a knife with a broken blade. Not the best weapon, but it had to be enough for now.
After sharpening his edge, he noticed that Tsubaki, now on his feet, seemed to be packing supplies. He had no intention of leaving the city. At least not in the foreseeable future.
Not long afterwards they went on a trip to town. After Bennett found nothing of interest in the city center, however, he met with Tsubaki at the market square as agreed. Now it was time to get information about this area. Whichever. So Bennett wanted to interview the people who lived here. Separately, mind you. However, the search for information was not particularly successful ...
